I didn't realize it, and drove on it just a mile or so before getting to a place I could put air in it. The next morning, I was trying to find a place that could come tow it or put air in so I could drive it to be fixed, since that service was covered by our insurance. I called McCall's, and the call was sent to voicemail. While I was talking with my brother about the tire over the phone, I got a call back from Bill McCall. I returned the call, and he said they could come put air in it. When Jeff arrived less than 15 minutes later, he surprised me by saying HE would take the car to the shop, leave his truck at my house, and then bring my car back when they were finished. I thought that was pretty awesome, but they topped themselves by bringing it back and saying "no charge"!They also turned the tire around, because it had a noticeable mark on the tire from where I drove it flat. I was blown away!! Where on earth do you get that kind of service these days? So glad I went with a local company. They've been in the same spot for so long, they have to be doing things right or the business wouldn't have lasted. The next day, the same issue appeared with no change. The issue was still there. When I returned from a business trip I researched the vehicle, problems and found it to be a 21 dollar easy to do yourself part. A dealer told me the same information. When I discussed this with the garage, they did not know the problem, they were guess repairing the vehicle and I had to tell them the issue, the part to solve it. Once solved I requested the old fuel pump, they never showed anyone, they had no diagnostics, they didnt have a clue why the problem was there?. When they tried to explain they tested it?, they said they used a headlight and tested electric current, replaced it started the car and it worked? they finally agreed it was an error as they could not argue with logic. When Icalled to get a check returned, they lied, said it was bad, became agitated, argumentive and used a bulling tone. They proceeded to then call my girlfriend since she paid. They WON that battle because she felt intimidated, fearful to speak up. Instead she lost 700 plus dollars for nothing. We decided like the other family and friends, its not the place it was and they can not be trusted with models of cars since 1980 and up.

They explained the issue, explained the repair process, called me with a quote once they were sure what the problem was and even gave me the broken parts (which I think is pretty cool). They are quick, friendly, knowledgeable and VERY accommodating. One day before I was supposed to leave for a cross country trip (I'm moving to CA) my check engine light came on. Needless to say I was a bundle of nerves (the movers were already at the house). I stopped by House of Wax to get the remnants of a decal removed from the sides of my truck. The…read moreplace is a one-man operation, but he is quite helpful! When I arrived without an appointment, he was able to take about 15 minutes to get the decal residue off, even though he was doing an interior detail on another car. HW offers a wide range of services, from a car wash to full on interior and exterior detailing (or whatever else you need) - prices are online, but he's able to give you a quote for things that aren't on the list as well. Finding the place can be a little difficult - it doesn't stand out as a garage off of Cleveland Ave. It's actually attached to a corner shopping center, with a few parking spots in the front. You have to bring your car to the back for service, and it's a bit of a narrow alleyway. There are a few negatives - the first is that House of Wax does not take credit or debit cards. I was glad I had enough cash, but I had no idea until I was about to pay. The other is that for a wash or detail, you have to leave your car there. Since it's a one man operation, you have to find your own way back to home or work, no one can give you a short ride. A full interior and exterior detail is apparently a full-day operation, so you can't just wait around the way I did for my decal.
