They were very easy to work with, and completed the inspection very quickly. It was extremely thorough, including a road test, tire/brake/rotor checks, transmission fluids, etc. Josh also took pictures of any issues with the car and quoted prices on a repairs, which I was able to use at a bargaining tool. The price of the inspection was on the high side ($275 including tax) which is about $125 more than the national inspection companies but it was a much more thorough inspection. Wouldn't hesitate to use Layland Motors again and highly recommend their service.

We had asked them to do a lot of little things and they did none of them. They had our car for two weeks and did basically nothing. But you get charged for hours and somehow they claim to have spent a lot of time on it, I really don't know how. The shop manager told me that even though I would be paying the same hourly rate as other smaller jobs, he did not want to have his staff do it because it was too hard. He said that he would rather do a bunch of smaller jobs such as brakes and oil changes than one large larger job even though the pay would be the same. This doesn't make any sense to me at all. He indicated that he was too poorly staffed, lacking Talent to complete larger jobs. The manager was engaging and was polite, but at the same time, dogmatic and insulting to a degree. Not recommended, keep on looking for a shop that is not afraid of your car. I wouldn't be surprised if they come on here and try to turn this around and state some positive things about their business in an effort to use it as free, marketing or advertising, but, enter at your own risk. They looked at it, quoted a price, got the parts there in a couple hours, and fixed it the next morning when I dropped my truck off.
