I have complained about this discrepancy before. I buy a few things about once a month but now not so much. Walking into the store, the music is loud enough to make you think like you entered into a NYC disco lounge. The employees always seem like they don't want to help you, you are afraid to approach them. The store has good produce sometimes, which is about the only reason I would buy anything at this store. I used to buy bread too but I have no idea where they put the bread. Between the loud music and the employees with bad attitudes, you just don't want to go through the pain of asking. Past visits were twice a month, now only once a month for one or two items.

I walked all the way to aisle 18 to get a lemonade and that's something you will only do at a Walmart, Costco or a Target. They had a huge collection of everything that's grocery and fresh produce under the sun. They also have two Asian restaurants boxed inside this shop. The only downside I found was with the seafood section that had a strong odor. The parking is a breeze as it's connected to the Hadley Commons.

The racks clearly aren't cleaned before being restocked, so the packaging ends up wet, sticky, and disgusting to handle. Finding wipes stocked in that area to wipe your hands is nearly impossible as well. I also frequently notice bloated "quick sale" meat packages, which is extremely concerning. On top of that, sale items are constantly misplaced or incorrectly labeled, so you don't realize something isn't actually on sale until checkout--or worse, when you get home. The produce section is just as disappointing. The iceberg lettuce and celery hearts are often on the verge of rotting, and fresh herbs and spices are rarely available. Every visit is frustrating. This store seriously needs to do better with cleanliness, stocking, and overall quality control.

In the frozen section, they also carry my favorite ice cream, which no other retailer carries at the moment. I will say, some of the ready-to-eat options are not the best. The sushi is still grocery store sushi and by no means exceeds expectations. I often pick up a hot sub, which also isn't the best I've had, but it does the trick. When I do need to order things at one of these stations, the service here is really nice. Wegmans also has a pretty nice seating area if you're stopping in for a meal. Wegmans is truly a dream grocery store.

It took some time to find parking in the parking lot. Probably due it's located at a pretty busy plaza with a lot of restaurants. There were a lot of people at the food court, and it was pretty noisy.

I especially love their tofu selection, ready to eat banchans, and marinated meats, perfect for quick dinners. I find myself always ending up with a box of Korean pears, golden kiwis, and soy milk in my cart no matter what I came in for. This little spa and grocery ritual always leaves me feeling recharged, with a calm mind and a happy fridge.

Then she asked if I wanted the salted version or unsalted version and she confirmed that a shipment was scheduled to arrive tonight and would be available in the morning. They have a fresh collection of groceries at all times and most of the time the store is neatly kept. I rate this place two stars less for three reasons- - Get milk or a cup of ice cream and you will know it's always at least $2 pricier than what you get at Target. - There's always some stacking of refilling happening eve during busy business hours by the staff while you are shopping and that is slightly annoying. - Being a vegetarian I find it highly intolerable with the meat smell that comes out of the butcheries especially the seafood market stall.

And for the neighborhood's robust Jewish community there's a large selection of Kosher groceries too! The place is well laid out, well lit, modern, brand new renovation of the former and lesser quality grocery occupant Stop&Shop's location (closed 2022) and it's a much needed and welcomed addition to our town! Though not exclusive to this Aldi location, this supply/demand problem is particularly aggravating in the early evening, when many customers do their after-work grocery shopping. There are three checkout lanes, but usually only one cash register is staffed. A second checkout lane will open up only when customers in line are spilling out into the aisles. The single-occupancy restrooms behind the bottled water pallets are surprisingly clean, probably because people forget that they're there.

There are self check out machines in other supermarkets.
