I have complained about this discrepancy before. I buy a few things about once a month but now not so much. Walking into the store, the music is loud enough to make you think like you entered into a NYC disco lounge. The employees always seem like they don't want to help you, you are afraid to approach them. The store has good produce sometimes, which is about the only reason I would buy anything at this store. I used to buy bread too but I have no idea where they put the bread. Between the loud music and the employees with bad attitudes, you just don't want to go through the pain of asking. Past visits were twice a month, now only once a month for one or two items.

The workers are very sweet and helpful. They ring you up extremely fast and efficiently. ( I really don't know how they memorize the prices of things it's crazy!) The staff was very friendly and helpful guiding me in finding certain items. The staff is hard working and continuously replenished the fresh produce. It was easy to find what I needed and they do take credit cards which makes it convenient. This is my new favorite place to shop for produce . They are located in a strip mall across from Texas Weiner, there's plenty of free parking. I heard this place can get really busy so I suggest coming at off times like during the week or at night. Weekends can get really, really busy. I promise you this will be your new favorite place to shop and you won't be disappointed...

I usually have a good impression of this ShopRite, especially because the store manager, Mr. Bishop, has always been friendly, approachable, and easy to speak with. That is why my recent experience at the food court was so disappointing. I went to the food court and stood at the counter for about 2-3 minutes while the male cashier remained at the register. He eventually asked whether I needed help, and I told him I wanted to order two cheeseburgers. The cashier then went to get another employee from the food area, an older tall white man. When he came over, he did not greet me, ask what I wanted, or look at me. He simply began packaging a cheeseburger. I politely said, "Excuse me, sir." He stopped but still did not look at me. I then said, "Sir?" At that point, he looked up at me in a very unfriendly way. I asked, "I'm sorry, sir, may I get one of those burgers with the two-sides lunch special?" Instead of responding professionally or clarifying the order, he walked away without saying anything, stopped to fiddle with a weight scale, then came back and told me I needed to "say that from the start." That was frustrating because he had never actually asked me for the details of my order. He seemed to be going only by what the cashier told him. The situation got worse when I asked a question about burger toppings. He walked away again and told me I needed to "figure out" what I wanted before coming to order. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable ordering from him. I said, "No thanks, you have a great day," and left the food court without buying the burgers. I then went to the front and spoke with the assistant manager, a curly-haired blonde woman, who was very kind and professional. I had hoped to speak with Mr. Bishop because he has met me before and knows I am friendly and respectful. I would never purposely aggravate or offend an employee. I honestly do not understand why this worker seemed so annoyed from the beginning. I came in for two cheeseburgers, asked a normal question about a lunch special and toppings, and ended up leaving without food because of how uncomfortable the interaction became. The ambiance & experience was very uncomfortable, but I still appreciate the store overall, and management has been positive in my experience, but I was very upset by this visit. Next time, I will refuse service from that particular employee so I can hopefully have a better customer experience.

It's a large, clean, and well-stocked grocery store with wide aisles, a good selection of products, and an efficient self-checkout area. There is typically plenty of parking. We have purchased their prepared chicken several times. They typically offer whole chickens as well as various cut-up options, with several seasoning choices available. Quality can vary, I've had some that were very good and some that were very dry. The produce department is also quite large and generally well stocked with both organic and non-organic choices. Overall, we've been happy with the quality of the products and find the prices to be competitive. Tip: Be sure to sign up for a ShopRite Price Plus card. Many advertised sale prices require the card, and you'll pay more without it.

There are three checkout lanes, but usually only one cash register is staffed. A second checkout lane will open up only when customers in line are spilling out into the aisles. The single-occupancy restrooms behind the bottled water pallets are surprisingly clean, probably because people forget that they're there.
