Luckily when we came last Sunday, around 2 pm, there was no wait for a table. An employee saw us and told us to sit anywhere. As soon as sat down, another employee brought us menus. We ended up getting: Grande Lechero, $54 MXN ($3.13 USD)- Large size coffee with milk. When our server brought over my husband's drink, she made a grand show of pouring the milk up high into my husband's coffee. I just wished I had gotten a video of it but it was definitely very fun to watch. My husband said his coffee was good (I didn't have any because I am not much of a coffee drinker). Combo 1 with Grande chocolate drink, $155 MXN ($8.98 USD)- So this combination comes with 4 large pieces of churros, 1 dip of your choice and also a chocolate drink. I ended up choosing a Mexican hot chocolate, which is made with cinnamon and sugar. Surprisingly the drink wasn't overly sweet. And really was perfect to dip my churro into the hot chocolate. For the dip, I picked cajeta, which is caramel made with goats milk. The cajeta was excellent with the churro. I don't know if this was the best churro that I have ever had, but it is definitely one of the top ones I have ever had. My husband also enjoyed the churros and the cajeta (he also liked my hot chocolate too). --------------------------- (Total= $209 MXN or $12.11 USD prior to tip) Wait time for our items was pretty quick. We waited less than 10 minutes for everything. Also credit card is accepted so my husband paid (We have the Costco Visa credit card which does not have a foreign transaction fee, which we used exclusively when we were not paying cash). Our server brought a card reader machine to our table when we were ready to pay (for those of you unaware, in Mexico, you will not be brought your check until you ask for it because it is considered rude to give it to you beforehand, assuming that you are being rushed). Overall, we had a really great experience at this location and highly recommend checking out any of the Churrería El Moro locations the next time you visit Mexico City.

Got an order of 4 churros with caramel (cajeta) and guava (Guayaba) dipping sauces, they were out of chocolate. You can have them tossed in regular sugar or cinnamon sugar which is traditional. The churros were warm and crispy on the outside and soft inside but had a slight burnt flavor. Both dipping sauces were good but in a different way. It's like donuts topped with caramel or guava, one is more fruity and the other more sweet. Just depends what you're in the mood for or what you prefer. I also got the frances hot chocolate which is their hot chocolate with vanilla. It was better than what I had earlier at another place. Overall the churros were good but not the best i've had.

We had kids including an infant, they were very accommodating getting us a good spot(Staff is super nice and courteous). We had breakfast which we really liked including our coffees, we wrecked not a big fan on pancake as it has coconut flavor and the guava pastry was the star of the show. The croquetas were crisp and rich, and the squash blossoms were one of the more interesting things on the table. We also ordered pizza. The crust had a nice char and chew, and the toppings were generous. I enjoyed it, although a couple of my coworkers were a little less enthusiastic. For me, the smaller plates stood out more. The room was lively, and the mix of vintage plates, copper-toned tables, and simple details gave the space a lot of personality. I also liked how naturally the menu lent itself to passing plates around and trying a little of everything. I'm glad we checked it out, especially because Lardo comes up often when people talk about eating in Mexico City. I'd happily come back and explore more of the smaller plates.

Bingsu is a "popular Korean shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings that may include chopped fruit, condensed milk, fruit syrup, and red beans...The food originally began as ice shavings with red bean paste." I randomly passed Pastelnara in La Zona Rosa (CDMX's gayborhood), and being a fan of most things Korean, I couldn't help but grab the green tea cup bingsu (pictured). It did not disappoint. While it was slightly different than the bingsu I'm used to, it was a surprisingly pleasant take on a traditional Korean dessert. The dish was served in a 12oz recyclable cup and consisted of finely shaved ice, green tea syrup that made its way through most of the dish, and it was all topped off with vanilla ice cream and finely chopped nuts. It tasted great, and the best part--it was less than $2.50 USD.
