First the place was very busy because of the tons of pine pollen now falling. The vacuum was very weak, probably because of so many people using it at the same time. The place is a little run down, The final horizontal brush looked very worn. When we got home it looked like the rear door had been bombed by a large bird. But no, it was a 6 inch by 1 inch gob of very thick lubricating grease, probably from the aforementioned brush. We'll use this car wash again if we are in need when passing by but otherwise we'll use the Da Carwash in Orange beach. read more

Hours of operation are not consistent. Went today actually and they were closed at 4:26. Looked online to see if there was a notice or anything that explains why they were closed early. The ultimate wash membership ($38/month) is not worth it if they are not open, or up front about closing on a day that's advertised as open until 6:00. Oh and when they closed for upgrades, they still charged my membership?? Seems like the membership is not worth it, especially if they are not able to provide any service. Very frustrating and disappointing but hope this helps someone else who plans ahead. read more

My drive from southern Indiana to Gulf Shores, Alabama left my car a buggy mess. Blue Moose fixed my situation quickly, efficiently, and at a decent price. I was very happy with the job they did. Frankly, I wasn't even going to leave this review because 1 star is still too many for this place. I've never been to a car wash that struggled with the concept of washing your car, until I was unfortunate enough to stumble into Blue Moose. Some residual dirt and grime in the obscure crevasses of the car? Understandable. Somehow having more bird poop on my car after the wash than when I dropped it off? Unfathomable. I'd like to wash my own car when I can but when I can't I like to find a decent car wash to use and I was going by blue moose the other day and thought I haven't tried it so I did. I chose the top of the line wash because if you don't get a decent wash their you certainly are going to get one of the lower level also to judge it I spent the $18 to do the full boat car wash. I attached pictures to show where my complaint arises and that's in the wheels and tires. As you see, substandard, at best. Car washes that do a good job with wheels are rare but more common than those that do as bad a job as this one,, I gave it to stairs only because the exterior was acceptable it wasn't at all above and beyond or exemplary it was adequate. read more

Gotta give these guys an upgraded rating because they have continued to upgrade and update their facilities and people. Not long before hurricane Sally they changed ownership and renamed this local carwash. With the change came some upgrades to the equipment inside but the staff remained the same. The didn't appear to sustain much damage from Sally other than their signage and were back up and running pretty quickly. Since then they have continued to update the equipment and some new people have come aboard that do a better job of pre-soaking and scrubbing and they don't seem to be so unhappy to be there, just sayin'. I like the mat wash and the cart they put by the vacuums loaded with complimentary clean towels, glass and all purpose cleaners. It makes it quick and convenient to finish the work to make the car spiffy and back on the road. Bottom line: We have a monthly carwash contract for $30 with unlimited washes and with the vacuums and other amenities it's a pretty good deal. Recommended read more

After running through the wash be sure to take advantage of their free vacuums & self serve detailing station for adding more shine to your ride. Love to ride clean more often? Ask about their $15 monthly express pass. Ride clean for a lot less. Your car will thank you.     I'm fairly picky when it comes to car washes as the end results would be a soapy film after going through the wash tunnel or the cloth brushes were unable to get any light dirt off due to not being maintained or replaced regularly. But they seem to regularly maintain their equipment as I've never had any bad results due to running it through the tunnel. They tend to have a couple of people on staff who are unmotivated to spray down your car or assist any customers. I've had that in the past but this visit I was lucky to have someone be of assistance & actually do a spray down before I went through the tunnel. I was delighted with my last wash as the exterior lacked any dirt or elements. The other highlight here for me is their detailing area as they're reasonably spacious kept fairly clean & offer free vacuums to use as long as you like. I also love staying to detail my car's interior as I find it a pleasant place compared to other conventional car washes. If you didn't bring any interior cleaners, they offer a limited selection available for purchase.  I feel they can improve on customer service. Decided to give this place a try, and unfortunately it was a waste of money. I chose the most expensive option they offer and my suv was still dirty. I had to wipe the car down since there was still dirt on the tailgate and bumper. The towels they have to wipe down the vehicle or windows are very cheap & used so it leaves little white pieces of lint. Wouldn't recommend this place! read more

BLUE MOOSE AUTO SPA IS SO AMAZING! My husband is sooooo picky and they exceeded his expectations (for the record that is hard to do). They def pay attention to details! They took extra time to get bugs off after a long car ride AND taped down the rear window wiper so it didn't get damaged in wash. It is an AUTO SPA.... how adorable is that!! We have always used Blue Moose while in Gulf Shores for the winter, and been very happy. We stopped in on February 27 to cancel for the year since we were leaving. They have not cancelled and have and continued to bill us. we have left 4 voicemails that have not been returned! Love this car wash! First time using it, and I only paid for the exterior wash! After driving all throughout the night, my windshield and front bumper were COVERED in bugs!! The guy hosing down my car paid special attention (without me asking) and scrubbed down my bumper extra good pre-wash. The car wash itself was spectacular and cleaned every inch of my car! This place was great after the ownership change but quickly declined in quality and value. Unfortunately, I believe it's employee driven. The staff there looks like they loathe their job and treat customers accordingly. The interior detailing usually isn't available due to employees not showing up to work. I've tried to call and see if they are staffed but no one answers the phone. Ever. I've stopped going altogether and don't recommend. read more

This place is a rip-off. We purchased a 1 month package during our winter stay. We left March 1. They continued to bill for 2 months. I have tried emails and phone calls to get this resolved. No response!!! They basically stole $30 from a senior citizen. Not a very good practice. read more

It doesn't get soap off my car at all!! The manager was nice but wouldn't do anything about his disrespectful employee! They charged me 3 times for the monthly wash and when I went to speak to them about it the guy was so rude and disrespectful to me in front of my children!! I showed him my receipt where it asked me to renew my membership and paid it and 2 weeks later it's charging me again so I ask him why and how it can be fixed he said it's not his problem and to either pay again or leave he didn't care about my receipt! He wouldn't tell me his name but when I went back and asked his coworker she told me it was Blake that he obviously was not raised right! I still haven't got this problem resolved! Worst car wash ever. I knew as soon as I pulled up to go thru car wash and guy on left was pre washing like a mad man while guy on right was going thru the motions while on his phone. After going thru had to spend about 10mins cleaning soap off car that water nor air dryer got off. There are several options for the automated car wash. We chose the ultimate for $15.95 expecting to get a clean car after the wash. However the people scrubbing the car before entering, only did a quick scrub. After exiting we noticed there was still soap on certain areas of the car and bugs still on the windshield, side mirrors, and front bumper! I feel as though the soap should have at least rinsed off! I was certain that my experience was not typical and gave it three tries. I took both my wife's vehicle and mine the last trip (today 12/19/2019) and it was more of the same. Equipment is not kept up or maintained is one issue. Vacuum hoses without ends, dirty and not kept rolled, nasty towels and watered down Windex, standing mud and water, just poorly maintained. I can usually overlook all of that but not when those type things are coupled with unfriendly and unhelpful staff. I understand these folks aren't making a ton of money, but I wasn't even acknowledged any of the three times I've been there. The whole pre-scrub process before you pull in, half way done and done differently every time. My suggestion is until the owner or management get plugged in and there is an honest effort to rehab this place, don't go! There are other places in Foley and a great one in Daphne that will work for your business, spend your money at those places instead. read more

I thought I'd give anyone looking for a good car wash a"heads up" that I cannot recommend Pinnacle car wash. I was greeted by a young man who was very persistent about asking me if I was interested in hand wax job it would only take 10 minutes. But I told him, I'm pressed for time but thanks anyway. As I was going through the tunnel, the machine had great difficulty in moving me completely thru it all in one motion. It actually stopped halfway through and was having a hard time moving me forward and actually tried three or four times before it finally got me across some type of threshold. No problem, I finally got through it and at least I didn't have to roll down my window and holler for someone to help me to get my car through. No problem, things happen. But what really bothered me... When I got out to vacuum my car the entire car had to be wiped down because the dryer obviously didn't do a very good job and I had soap over the entire back end of my car. Fortunately I had a hand rag and I wiped it down. So I thought I'd give the manager a "heads up" that his rinsing mechanism within the carwash tunnel was not working properly. I pulled up to the starting point of the car wash and tapped my horn to get the man (obviously in charge) with a gray ponytail his attention that I wanted to talk to him. He walked away, made a gesture with his hand for the young gentleman (who approached me about the hand wax job) to come see what I wanted. I told the young man I just wanted to give them a heads up that there rinsing mechanism wasn't working properly within the tunnel and he looked me dead in the eye and said that's normal. I said, it's normal for the back end of my car to have soap all over it after going through the tunnel? He said, yeah that's pretty normal. I thought to myself yeah, and you wanted me to let you hand wax my car! I paused for about 5-6 seconds & said OK and drove away. I wanted to give him a piece of my mind, but thought what's the difference I'm not coming back. Stay away especially if you have a full size truck!!! Manager Jay Fisberg and some other disrespect POS recommended that I fold in my mirrors I asked if my Truck would fit and they said yes. After exiting my Mirror was damage and these two so called managers told me there machine did not damage my truck and I was lying and only wanted them to pay for my mirror. Yeah like I picked out that car wash with my 80k truck to have them fix a 50$ part. It would have been a lot better if they acted concerned but these two miserable POS should definitely be fired they have no business in customer service. I purchased the monthly car wash, bought a new vehicle that had a monthly wash sticker already on it. I did not want the previous owner to pay for MY car washes so I removed that sticker and attempted to use the one I had taken off my old car. When I attempted to tell the manager about it, he accused me of lying about both stickers, became very loud, more rude and began walking toward my car in a threatening manor. That behavior did not sit well with me of course so I asked him his name because I was going to call his supervisor...to which he replied "fk off" and then one of the attendants had to pull him back into the office! I contacted (emailed) headquarters because no one would return a phone call. They somewhat apologized (via email a week later); I asked them to please call me about this behavior. I've not heard anything at all back and this happened a few months ago. I'm a local resident, own my business and make referrals to reputable businesses all the time. I guess Blue Moose does not need the monthly $240+/year from me...or from my son, daughter-in-law, husband and other friends who've now moved from Blue Moose to another car wash because of what happened. The attendants have always been nice but apparently the owner(s) condone their managers being disrespectful. read more

I've been to many a car wash in my time and I've always got the car wash that cleans the tires and rims I have never had such a poor quality of cleansing on my vehicle in years. Aluminum rims looked like they weren't touched as the Cleansing wheels inside the car wash we're not turning to clean them. The dryer did a poor job of drying the car and a bunch of vacuums we're in operable. One of the customers next to me was complaining because they had to use somebody else's vacuum to clean their car and it barely reached. Talked to who I found out was a manager and he copped an attitude because I question the cleanliness of my car after going through the car wash and told me that's just how it is it's not perfect. I wasn't expecting perfect I expected the manager to offer me another car wash to go through to complete the cleaning cycle that didn't get done right on the first run. I absolutely do not recommend this location until repairs get done and management gets an attitude adjustment. read more
