Her entire family is highly trained. Julie the owner this business was passed down to her her father as well was excellent. I heard I didn't have the privilege but when I tell you, she's honest and trustworthy you don't have to worry about your information being compromise. They're extremely knowledgeable. Honest hard-working family I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have recommended so many people and they are happy just be patient. She has a large base but when I tell you ,you will get your refund and any questions you have she has the answer to it over will guide you in the right direction. read more

This company is completely unprofessional. I'm sure they have family post their own reviews to drown out the amount of bad ones there are, that's the only explanation I can accept knowing this place has almost a full 4 star review on here. I have family of my own that has had horrible experiences here so trust and believe that will change soon. I should have stopped all business with this company when they lost my sisters taxes last year but I wanted to give a small business a chance. I assume they lost my taxes this year since It took me 2 calls on 2 separate months for me to get 1 call back about my taxes (after the season is over) advising me on a time frame to come in (Mon-Fri, 9:30am-5pm). Though I had already taken off 2 days of work on 2 separate occasions to pay for their services, I took off another day just to get it over with. When I arrived on a MONDAY I waited up to 3 hours outside this facility in the heat just for no one to show up in the time frame that was given to me. A friend of mine was stuck outside this business basically all day due to car trouble (11:30am-6pm) and no one (except other customers desperately trying to get their taxes) showed up at the locked gate. I've been calling for 2 weeks now, to which I still have yet to receive a call back. While I was waiting for 3 hours that day, the neighbor did me a favor and contacted one of the family members of the woman that runs this business and told me they've been made aware that I was waiting. For no one to show up knowing there is a customer that's been waiting for that long is one thing, but to also have multiple other customers banging on your gate to pay for your services while you hold their taxes hostage is a completely different situation. To say this business has wasted my time, money and energy is an understatement. This company is a complete joke, you might have better luck if you were family but regular customers clearly don't mean that much to them. read more

First off, call the number to sign in for the day you want! I would avoid weekends. There is also a clipboard attahed to the door if you get there before they open. The sign says she opens at 9am but the place opened at 10am on a saturday. Make sure you are present when u sign in or else they will skip you! I was 34th on the list and it took me nearly 4 hours! You can actually call the place to see what number they are currently on so you dont waste your time like I did. The waiting area was comfortable enough and also had a tv showing an old movie on Comedy Central. When it was my turn, it took less than 10 minutes and i got a good return. I really hate leaving bad reviews and even when I have a bad experience I usually just brush it off as I know no one is perfect and everyone has off days. However I have been filing my taxes with Perez agency for the past 5 years now and I usually notice a tense attitude by the staff. However Julie which I believe is the owner & her kids always took good care of me since I was always polite. This year due to the pandemic they did things a little differently which was dropping off your papers and them giving u a call back within 2 weeks. Which I was ok with considering the pandemic. I paid ahead of time and waited my 2 weeks but never received a call. I then decided to give them some more time and be patient after 4 weeks I started to call and wonder about my taxes the older lady at the front with black hair immediately gave me a bad attitude as if I were a bother. Just so rude!! I ended up having to go in person to sign my papers and she tells me I owe 76 $ when I dropped off 4 weeks ago I had already paid and they had it marked down that I did. After searching she says they charged u 71 & that I owed $5 dollars Before she could release my papers so I asked her why didn't they charge me the full amount when I first came and paid and again the entire time she had an attitude and she looked at me and just said I don't know. I kindly paid the extra $5 and left. I will not be going again. Also my mom dropped off Her papers the same day as me which is now five weeks ago and she still has not gotten a call back every time she calls they keep telling her they'll call back today or in three hours and never do then she calls the next day and they say we will call you right back and again never do my mom's waiting until the end of this week again being patient like I was but if not by this week she will be getting a refund and picking up her papers. I don't recommend this place to anyone. That lady in the front who also usually picks up the phones needs to be fired!!!!!!! read more

My moms been going to her for years my first time was last year (made real money), my taxes were screwed, they were originally done in January and I didn't get any money back until I went to her after April, when she told me to come back because she was doing SSI taxes. She gave me her word and helped me. She fixed them up for me and I swear in 2 days I got an email from my bank stating I had a deposit and it was in there. I swear she works on the inside. Her whole family is nice and everyone knows what they are doing. The setting is very professional even her customers that come in there. read more

The WORST place to get your taxes done. I got my taxes done after moving from out of state. One of the workers did it but told me to come back a few days later because he didn't know how to do the Cali taxes. Ok so now I have to make two trips. Came back a few days later and she "fixed" it. A while later I received my federal taxes but nothing from Cali- called the office and the guy who answered said yea yea everything is done, call the IRS. I called IRS and was told nothing was receive. It's August and I still haven't received anything back and I called for WEEKS-always get the run around, I'll fix it and call u Monday, tuesday, Friday etc. Office is always closed and when I finally got a hold of her, she basically told me she was too busy. If you don't know how to do it, just admit it- don't waste my time. I recommended plenty of people to go there but I will definitely tell them I take my word back and would NOT recommend them to go there unless they don't want their return until 2050. read more

Good place to get your taxes done prepares income taxes real cheap long wait times during the month of february if you could print your w2 and everything you have online during the begining of january that is good to get your taxes done or wait till march she slows down during that time then has a rush during the month of april before april 15 but if you do want your taxes done in february be prepared to wait over 10 hours i just did and got a good refund but other years when i knew i was going to owe money i waited till march family owned business in business since 1962 julie the tax preparer has been doing taxes for over 30 years. read more
