I know what I like and what I don't like and once I have a vision in my head I tend to get meticulous with every single detail. Not everyone can stay the course. But Daniel, see Daniel takes pride in creating a vision. His goal is not to meet but to exceed your expectations. At least this is how I perceived him. Based on my experience with Daniel I can say with confidence He aims for that WOW factor and that's what sets him apart from the rest. There are plenty of party venues out there these days but none give you everything you want on the same tab. Daniel Perez steps up and shows out! And I mean that with the utmost respect. My experience with him was superb, even when I was pushy or doubtful Daniel remained patient, and continued to assure me that I could/should trust him, even though I didn't want to I had no choice to. The day of my sons first birthday party I was overwhelmed with what I saw... I think I almost cried! I wanted a very authentic and detailed Yo Gabba Gabba themed birthday party. My requests were met and then some. Daniel literally turned the Ridgewood Room into Gabba Land and an exclusive DJ lance appeared to entertain the kids. My sons first birthday was spectacular my guests as well as myself were in awe with how well everything turned out and til this day people STILL remind me of what a great party that day was. That party was in 2013 so this review is long overdue, I have returned to Daniel Perez for a second 1st bday party for my new baby girl who is turning one in May and I am excited to see how Mr Daniel Perez will execute my vision this time around. This review is based on another party Perez events hosted. and Just when I thought it couldn't get any better Danny and his staff blow me away once again. My daughters first birthday party was nothing short of breathtaking!!!! It literally brought me to tears. No seriously, I walked in and my stomach was filled with butterflies I was so happy, no no I was so OVERJOYED that I cried and I immediately called Danny on the spot to thank him. I remember my words were "I am going to slap you" he of course jumped to defense and I stopped him and I said "you literally have me crying right now I am SO HAPPY thank you So much Danny I LOVE IT"... Danny and his team delivered beyond my expectations!! I wanted a Parisian Garden themed party and I got a notch up. It was a Royal Parisian Garden. The stage emulated royalty fit for a princess. YES! My princess indeed! He even had Parisian music playing while my guests entered. It was perfectly executed and I loved every single detail. Daniel and his team have a passion for what they do and it gleams through their deliverance every time. We went with the white tufted loveseat with canopy draping and it was a hit at my friend's babyshower/wedding! Danny and his crew were a pleasure to work with. It was easy to get in touch with them, they were always friendly and patiently answered ALL of my questions. The guys arrived on time to set the canopy up and to take it down (we needed to completely exit the hall by 1am so we needed the couch out by a certain time-and they were there!) I don't know where to start. I decided to have a 50th surprise party for my mother with a great gatsby theme. Everything turned out better than I imagined. The customer service I received from both Daniel and Raquel was amazing. They have been patient, understanding and helpful with me from the very beginning right up until the night of the party. Steven and Carlos were a big help as well the night of the party. I am truly appreciative of those guys. Despite the fact that I was late they still had all hands on deck! They really came through on a last minute tables & chairs order. It was difficult getting them on the phone to complete the order, but once I did it alleviated a major burden. The delivery was slightly off, as was the pickup, which can be expected, and I'm no fan of the delivery to Brooklyn charge, but I appreciate them being able to fill the order less than 24 hours in advance! read more

I recently had my wedding at the Ridgewood Room. I searched for months trying to find a place in Brooklyn/Queens that had wood floors and white walls, many of the wedding venues are dated and overpriced. I was so happy when I found Perez Events. The white draping, photo backdrop and uplighting were exactly what I was looking for. The staff at Perez Events are great, always available to answer my questions, let us stop by numerous times to look around which made planning everything easier. Everyone loved how the room was decorated. The bartender was great and very helpful and the busboy helped us with anything we needed and they handled cleaning up which made the end of the night a lot easier for us. I hired them for a baby shower back in September. The price was affordable. I ordered the love seat and backdrop. Everyone at the company was super sweet. I was able to order over the phone that was a plus. I was able to contact them with no problems and they confirmed days before the event. The day of the event they got there before I did. My cousin had his second baby shower here; it's a very huge place! The decorations were very attractive and colorful, the color theme was red and black. They had bar service and photography; I am not sure if that came with the package but we really enjoyed ourselves. The only downside was the PARKING!!!!!! It was crazy. We looked or one hour, and by accident we found parking in front of the place. I was happy that I didn't drive because the parking was horrible. I started thinking about all the other guests that couldn't find parking; they probably went home. But overall, the venue is beautiful. Not sure if I would have an event there since parking is crazy but I do believe public transportation is in the area (the M train). read more

I reached out to Perez Events for décor and chair rental. We made numerous phone calls to connect with the vendor, however they never returned our call after leaving voicemails. The only form of communication received were text messages stating that they would return our call, which never occurred. This was very unprofessional and lacked basic customer service.
