I love this place so much! From the second I walked in on my first time, I was greeted with smiling faces. Heather runs such a great business. She is so sweet and very knowledgeable about nails. I got a gel manicure done and while the nail tech was nice, I was asked some personal questions about language and race that made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Also, the manicure could've been done more meticulously. I was nicked on one finger which I understand can happen accidentally, but since I had the service done, I have noticed some things on my nails that could've been fixed like the polish was done unevenly and there's a little bubble on one of my nails that hopefully won't affect how long the manicure lasts. Overall, my experience was okay but seeing as I'm about to go on a trip, I was hoping it was better. I don't think I'll be returning to this salon. read more

I have gotten two pedicures at this shop: one from Heather and one from Ginette. I've also gotten a full acrylic set done by Ginette. All of my services were flawless, and both nail techs have the best disposition and are great company during services! Also great playlist in the background, some 80s music, some Beatles, a little Motown peppered in every now and then. It has been a month since my acrylic set and the nails are perfectly in tact, besides being grown out. No nail polish peeling off, no nails breaking or falling off. Heading back today for a fill in! I'm sure I'm not the only one that waits until the last minute to book appointments but when I do...I book the best! Lol Yelp reviews brought me here and boy was it a good find. I called and spoke with Connie who fit me and my daughter in on a Saturday afternoon. It was easy peazy and Connie was so nice on the phone. She also offered up directions since it could be an easy miss with GPS. We arrived early and were immediately greeted. We waited while she finished up and she asked if we had designs picked out. My daughter opted for some Tiffany inspired nails with some glitter polish. Going the mature route, I chose some cute colors with neutral colors colors and 1 nail with a gold glitter polish. Both manicures were completed quickly and ended up beautiful. Connie is so very sweet and it felt like I'd known her all my life. I'm in love! Finding a good nail salon is like finding a good partner in life. They'll make you feel good, but when they piss you off, you're done! I'm so happy to report that nothing has pissed me off about this place. Heather, the owner, is so nice and talented. I have searched Pittsburgh high and low for a person that does nail art. I'm not talking about airbrush like in the old school days with fake acrylic nails. I'm talking about art on the nails. The art of painting on nail beds, etc. I want fun and she brings it, plus at a good price. CASH ONLY. But you'll get a regular mani for $20 and nail art starting at 25$. Now I'd never done gel nails before, I was hesitant because I have such horrible peeling nails, I assumed whatever I'd use would just chip instantly. I thought nothing would work on me. I came here at the recommendation and glowing review of Yelp's own Rachel! I was not disappointed. Heather, the owner and the one who did my nails is so friendly and welcoming. I was in the mood to get pampered and unwind and that's exactly how events unfolded. I was looking to get a gel french manicure with some nail art and was very happy with the end product. Heather takes her time to make sure you're nails are well done. She doesn't rush through the process and pays attention to details. She's also a pleasure to talk with and the time seemed to fly by. She was kind enough to look up some nail art ideas on her phone since I was a deer in headlights when it came to any ideas myself. I mentioned that I like floral designs and was fine with having the nail art on a few accent nails. I had such a great experience with Connie! I went in for a pedi and gel manicure and both look flawless. I particularly loved the pedicure. Connie got all of my calluses and dead skin off my feet and I have never felt my feet be that soft and smooth, ever! This place is fantastic for many reasons! Having just moved to Pittsburgh within the last year, I've tried a handful of other salons and been disappointed by each one to the point of not returning. All had decent reviews and were in prime locations. However, the service was eh and the nail jobs were not worth money I paid. THIS was the 5th salon I tried and I was thrilled with the pedicure and manicure I received. Heather is by far the best so if you can, ask for her! For the pedicures, they are very thorough but be sure let them know ahead of time what you do and don't want because not all technicians ask (this is common of most places though so I would suggest this no matter what!). Once you tell them, they do an unbelievably good job. I've now been to Heather 2x for gel manicures and had a pedicure from one of the other technicians. I've recommended this spot to a few friends and will keep recommending them because they are worth the extra 5 minute drive. Fantastic service. Fantastic nail job. I called the evening before my desired appt day, and when I first spoke with Connie-she that told me she was sorry but they were full at the requested time, but she would see if she could move something around and call me back...she called me back, as she said she would, and said I could come! The next day was also the day before my wedding, as I was getting my wedding manicure. Connie was very nice! Wonderful work, even tho my nails are short and simple, i can never get polish to stay on, especially on my toes, my tennis shoes always rub off the polish...so gels are the best! They cost more, yes, but worth every damn dollar, they last over 1 month, no chips, no loss of shine, amazing. I am at school in Pittsburgh and I have been on the hunt to find a salon to replace my beloved nail lady 5 hours away at home..... 2 years later I found her!!!! Connie did an amazing job on me and my 2 friends. She was open to doing anything I wanted from Pinterest and was super helpful in picking colors. When it comes to the paint that salons use, I only want OPI Shellac. They had a large variety of colors and new collections of the OPI lines. The price was also great- $30 for a gel manicure that lasted 45 minutes and Connie cleaned up my nails perfectly and took her time making sure they were perfect. Omg... this place is Awesome! I needed to find a new nail salon because my previous nail tech no longer works on the days that I'm off of work. So I surfed the web to see what I could find and found this salon. I called them around 10am to see if they could fit me in because I had a interview in the morning... (so I basically needed an emergency appointment). Connie was professional when greeting me on phone and ask what I needed. I ask her If they had any available appointments after 6pm and she said they are booked for the day, but after hearing the frustration in my voice she told me to come in at 3:30pm because someone canceled and the nail technician Heather can take care of me. I was relieved after hearing she could fit me in regardless if it was a few hours earlier. I got there at 3:35pm due to some traffic and Connie greeted me and ask me my name then told me to pick a color. I was amazed about how many different colors they have ... (That's a plus!!!) A few seconds went by and Heather came and graciously greeted me with a smile on her face... She was nice we had a great conversation and she did a awesome job on my nails... My girlfriend got her nails done here and she was so happy. She's been here a few times before she said but she specifically told me Connie was her go to girl. She loves the manicures she gets and they always look very nice. She says she never gets cut there, and that it lasts longer than other places she has gone. I couldn't have had a better experience at Perfect 10 Nail Salon. I sent a message to various salons requesting information. Heather, the owner, promptly replied and was able to give me the availability for the openings. My appointment was on 8/14/19 at 6:30pm and I made sure to arrive early. The salon is conveniently located down the road from Parkway Center Mall, with ample parking. The salon is impeccably clean. Heather is very warm and welcoming. Although, she was finishing up a client, she told me that I could find my color of choice in the plethora of polishes that she has and took the time out to draw the water from my pedicure. Additionally, Heather is extremely personable so there was never a lack of conversation. I absolutely love the pedicure that she gave me and I ADORE the full set of acrylics in a pastel yellow with a flamingo on each hand that she did, as well. Made an appointment to get a coffin shaped, acrylic fill. The ladies were very friendly. This was a much needed appointment since my nails were practically falling apart from the last nail shop I went to. She took her time to do my nails, but not too long. I had a couple nails that just needed the acrylic pulled off to start fresh, but she suggested I leave them on. My nails were basically the same size compared to my old set, which was good. I just wasn't too happy that some of my old, broken nails were not replaced. Also, the shape of my nails are no longer coffin, but more of a regular square shape. Lastly, the sides of my nails are missing polish which really bothers me the more I stare at them! I am a nail fanatic, you'll rarely catch me without my nails done.. So I'm really particular in how I want them done. I may give them & 2nd try to see how it turns out. read more

I made an appointment based off all the great Yelp reviews, bad idea. I have never written a poor review, but given my terrible experience I feel I should warn future customers. The good: Making an appointment was very easy and Connie was nice on the phone. I didn't mind that the salon was kind of dirty and had a similar hygienic feel as an Asian nail salon. The other nail tech with Connie seemed nice too. The bad: I came in with gel nails on and was slightly turned off when Connie started filing the polish off with a mechanical file. She used the file on my skin and assured me it was "gentle." I found this odd because all the other American salons I've been to remove gel with an acetone soak. Then she proceeded to fire off several personal questions that made me feel uncomfortable (I.e. when do you want children, how many bedrooms does your house have, how much did you buy your house for, what are your property taxes?). The questions went on and on. It was very odd uncomfortable conversation that lasted the entire appointment. The ugly: Connie was very rough with my nails, so much so that I started bleeding profusely from my middle finger! She ignored it and just kept wiping the blood with an old dirty towel. The one finger was bleeding so badly that she didn't even notice that my other middle finger was slightly bleeding as well. No apology was received until the end of the appointment. She said "sorry I removed your hang nail and made you bleed" and then told me to go wash my hands and use a scrub brush to remove the blood. Gross! Even after all the awkward personal questions and bleeding I wasn't going to write a poor review. I feel for small business owners and Connie did seem like a nice person. However I write this review with two infected nails... They are red puffy and hurt like hell. The experience is upsetting to me and I don't want others to go there without being warned first. read more
