I tried to avoid this nail place as I've heard from mutuals they do a sloppy job but it was the only place open. I got them done recently and they are already lifting within 3 days. He did not push my cuticles back so they are all over the place and mess, the acrylic is not fully on my nails, the paint is sloppy and my nails are uneven. It was rushed & he put minimal effort. i usually go here to get my nails done for anything but yesterday i went to get a full set of gel nails with cow print designs and i got them mid length and the lady that did them was a older woman and she was cutting the part of the nail off and cut them crooke, then put the gel on and half way through the appointment said my finger was pointing inwards so she tried to fix it and then took off the gel and put more on there, so now my nail was bumpy and i told her and she said " that's how it's supposed to be". so i left and paid and i got in the car and looked at them and they looked like ive had them on for a week, it looked like they've already been grown out where she didn't put the gel on right. i wouldn't recommend coming here if your getting your nails done for anything special. read more

My full set nails broke in less of a week. So disappointed. This is the second time this has occurred. I was over priced for a basic short full set $50 when the price sheet said $45 my pedicure my nail chipped like the next day used to be $40 and was charged $47 like I'm not sure if they just saw a dollar sign on my forehead I'm very disappointed on Joe and his wife how they pick and choose who they want to up sale. I meet someone who recommended this place and since I'm new to the area, I decided to try the plce out and get my eyebrows done. I called, made and appointment with Kam for my eyebrow wax. I get there, check-in and wait. My appointment comes, Kam approachs me and takes me to the back room to start the eyebrow waxing. She doesn't greet me which I credit to them being busy. Anyway, she tells me to lay down on the waxing bed which has a sheet on it. I lay down initially but something tells me to stand up and look. The sheets have stains on them from a previous customer. Once she returns to the room, I ask if the sheets were clean and she says "probably not" and chuckles. I was in shock but decided to go forward with the waxing since I really needed my eyebrows done. She puts on a new sheet and then starts waxing. After what seemed like 3 strips, she hands me a mirror and my eyebrows have no shape. The tail end of one is super thin and the other is thick. When I tell her about this, she insists that they are the same and tries to explain this horrendous job. After listening to her for a while, I thanked her for her service and left the room to pay. At the front, the cashier asked about my experience and I told her that I was not happy and that I have to go to another salon to fix it because I have an important event this weekend to attend and my eyebrows look horrible. The cashier goes to the manager and tells her about my displeasure. While she's talking to her, Kam is visibly annoyed and loudly talking about the situation with her current customer. The cashier then goes to Kam and talks to her then Kam shouts across the room how she's never had someone complain about her work and if I'm not happy "oh well". At this point, Kam was causing a scene and I told her that the only reason why I mentioned my experience to the cashier was because I was asked. Kam then stormed off to the back of the salon screaming from the back room stating how she didn't care. What blew me away the most was that she didn't offer to fix the job but instead became offended because I wasn't happy about a service that I'm paying for. I paid for the service and told the cashier that Kam's reaction was completely unprofessional and that I will never visit their place of business again. read more

perfect 0... was given a gift card for Mother's Day. first time customer.Had an appointment at 1:00. They were so overbooked that she put me to soak for a pedicure for one hour. I was one of 4 customers that she was doing at once. This was so unprofessional. was interrupted constantly.Apparently she was filling in as supervisor while the owners were on vacation. She let me know she was expected to cover for them without additional pay. When she finally did my pedicure and manicure,it was horrible. bubbles all over in the nails. She rushed through the manicure and pedicure, even though I waited so long. Then she put on my sandal. She did not give enough time for my nails to dry. When I went out to my car after 2 1/2 hours later... I had to go back in and have her repair the nails that was messed up. when she was done , I told her my son had already paid. She had no record of the gift card. I sent her a message and told her how unhappy I was . She never responded to my text. When the owners came back on Tuesday, I requested a full refund. The owners have not contacted me back. I WILL NEVER GO back to this salon. read more

Friendly staff. Basic pedicure, nothing fancy, but can't beat the price. Was able to get an appointment no problem. Clean. I would have given a higher rating, but the woman sitting next to me with a toddler in a dirty diaper who was touching everything and distracting my pedicurist was not relaxing to me. Not the salon's fault, but a "no children in the service area" policy would be nice.....especially since the toddlers care giver was there as well (not getting a pedicure, just sitting in a chair talking loudly on her cell phone while watching the child terrorize the salon). Got my nails painted with shellac (gel) that is supposed to last for two weeks. I had them done previously at a place in Raleigh where they held up great, but I wanted to get them redone before I went to an event. Decided to give this place a try because it is much closer to my house than Raleigh, but I would definitely drive an hour to Raleigh than come back here. Everyone was really nice but poor quality of work. When I left there was clear polish still all over my skin, and the edges had not been filed where the polish had run while being painted. The edges began to peel the very next day and by day two all of the polish on my middle finger was gone (reminder that it is supposed to last for two weeks!!). Any time I would touch something or my nails would rub/scratch against something, the edges would crack and they would peel everywhere. Once a few nails were totally missing polish, with the few left whose edges were rolling up, I was able to peel the entire polish off with little effort. It is not supposed to do that! Anywhere else I have been the polish is stuck so tightly to my nails that you cannot even pick at the edges. Very disappointed and will not be going back :( read more

September 2 2015...I asked the girl how much for a full set & she said 25.00 , after putting the tips on she asked how long did I want them so I showed her but after the cutting the nail she told me for nails that long is 30.00. I replied with that's not what you told me and I held up the nail tip that was cut off which was slightly longer than half of the nail. The manager came over to confirm & they thought that I was going to allow them to rip me off. I told them to take the nails off in which she did. I am a traveler and I have gotten my nails done from New York to Florida and I have never experienced this type of price gouging.
