Best salon I've ever been to!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone was so nice and kind and the nail technician was so talented he even fixed my messed up nails from the previous salon for my fill in. My sister got a pedicure and loved every minute of it!!!!! It was absolutely amazing, everyone was so kind and sweet and made my sister and I feel so comfortable and welcomed. The salon was clean and everything looked very sanitary and well kept. Every person I talked with was a certified cosmetologist who went to school. Day Dreams has mastered not only fine workmanship, but customer service that lets you know you are more than a customer to them. Not only have I received this most refreshing courtesy, but witnessed it with other clients while there. You will never feel as if they cater to certain clients, but treat each customer as if they are the most important person in the world ! I've been going to a different nail salon since moving to Clayton in October and the last few times, they did a horrible job. I called Daydreams and they let me come in almost immediately and the woman who did my nails (Shawna? Maybe? I didn't catch her name) was super quick, but careful and efficient. She was careful and she did an amazing job and I couldn't be more pleased. They were hilarious the whole time I was there, and even though their gel manicures are just slightly more expensive, it was such a great experience the price didn't even phase me. I just have to say for all the negative reviews, they are so wrong. One black girl posted about them not greeting her or having time. You don't know their scheduled appointments that are coming in. It's not a race issue, don't make it one. Yes the brothers, the owners, joke around. If you don't like joking while waiting or getting your service then find another place. I've been coming here for years now and I've never had an issue. Just make an appointment. If they have to space and time to for in a walk in they will. Here is my experience... been going here for a year with my 16 year old daughters. In this time they have joked and laughed with the girls. Recently while there with my daughter getting our nails done, and I'm keeping the owner's daughter occupied one of the employees speaks such vile and sexually inappropriate things to my daughter, and asks her to meet him after the shop is closed for sex. Yes. I went to the police...and no there is no evidence... but it happened...I can't keep quiet as a mother ... this is wrong and it needs to be said. read more

I was a customer there for several years before relocating to Florida in December 2015. Day Dreams, by far, was the BEST nail salon I've ever been in! Tae always did my nails and I miss the commeradi! It's taken me a year to find another salon where I felt welcomed (but still not anywhere near as good and fun as Day Dreams)! This place is owned by brothers and they are very nice and personable. They remember you, even if you have only been once, and very accommodating. I also go a pedicure this tome and this is the first place I have been to where they actually speak to you and you don't just sit there quiet. It was genuine and honest conversation. I have tried over a handful of nail salons in Clayton and I always come back to Day Dreams. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome by making small talk with you. They really take their time to make sure your nails are perfect and they pay attention to detail! They'll ask me if the shape, length and size are okay and they will always fix what you do not like.
