I was not given a receipt for purchase. $850. While in my house, the 16 year old nephew took 2 phone calls promising the callers appliances that were "2 years old, no dents, no scratches." When I unwrapped my double oven it clearly had huge dents on both sides that were also rusted--the kind of dents resulting from being bounced down a road. The top of the control console had a large area where the finish was gone. the top right corner of the console was severely scratched it's entire width. The interior of the doors was so dirty there was no way this oven was less than 10 years old, and that is after they said they had cleaned it. The owner gave me advice on how to clean it with vinegar and baking soda. Why didn't they use this? I contacted them and within 5 days I even texted them with photos. He agreed to trade it for another double oven when he had one (in a text). I was never contacted. I sent text reminders checking in if there was a suitable trade over months. He said there was not yet. I have been using my basement kitchen since I had removed the upstairs kitchen the day after I moved to this house. I now need a stove and oven because I rented the basement. The first day I used this appliance to heat soup on a burner, I later noticed a intermittent clicking sound. I realized the burner would not shut off. I removed the knob and tried to find a position for the control that would turn it off, the display showed "Low" still. There was no position that would turn the burner off. I had to completely unplug the stove. I texted with pictures. When I went in to at least choose a single oven the employee said that person no longer was employed with the company. Later in the conversation, he let it slip that that person had warned him to look out for me because I might come in. This company will not cooperate and I even warned them I had met with my lawyer and was about to give a $3500.00 retainer. I reminded them and sent them relevant and dated screenshots of texts showing the agreement to trade and me following up regularly and being put off to wait longer by the owner. They still won't return the money or a trade. I'm moving forward with my lawyer.

Today I called back at 11am during my break at work only to be told someone would call me back in about an hour as she was only filling in for someone. My stove was not working and I paid $80 for a service call. This was a very old stove in a rental property, and it did not make sense spending that kind of money to fix it. I decided at those prices I would throw out the stove and I purchased a second hand Inglis for $300 which is working perfectly. I am sorry I wasted my time and money with JSK.

The service man arrived promptly at the time I was told he would arrive After checking everything, he was confident a good cleaning inside would solve the problem. While he had the dryer apart, he noticed the belt was cracked and had stretched over time. It was replaced. A thorough cleaning was done including sensors. The dryer is operating like new.

We contacted JC to diagnose and fix a issue with our ice maker in our Jennair refrigerator…read more Whirlpool directed us to JC. They were reasonably prompt with the initial service call and understandably charged us for a service visit. However things did not play out well after that. The technician took off our freezer door to test the ice maker unit. The testing took a few minutes and he declared "you need a new ice maker". I explicitly asked him if there were other tests that could be done as we saw a red blinking light. He said no. So we ordered part, it came several weeks later along with a $300 invoice which we paid. Four days later with the new ice maker, still no ice. We called them several times and they eventually came back. Same technician but this time with a more experienced buddy. The ran different tests and concluded that the problem was not in the ice maker but in some other circuitry. They left telling us they would inform us what next steps were. A week went by and no update, finally we had to call them and they told us "Sorry we can't do anything, call Whirlpool". We called Whirlpool even though we knew what they would say. They were no help. So in the end we spent $500 and nothing was fixed and no one can help us. On top of all that, our freezer door now does not open and close smoothly like it used to. I am extremely disappointed
