She kept us on track, was exceptionally knowledgeable and we got to see and learn more about Sydney than we would have on our own. Tour ends in the Rocks area which was perfect.. plenty to do and see there ...tour is free but they do ask for gratuities based on your experience. Would recommend this tour for anybody who wants to get to know Sydney

You meet at the Archibald fountain by 10:30 a.m. to get a spot and then go from there. Martin was my guide on the bus tour and he was informative and funny! I got to see so much of Sydney on the tour and also took some great photos. Don't think that you won't be tired if you do the bus tour cause you'll be hopping on and off a few times which will be tiring (but rewarding). I'd say this is a must do when visiting Sydney!

I purchased the Go City Pass and was able to redeem one of the attraction options for the bus. They have two routes: The red route (city center), and the blue route (beaches). I took the red route. I was able to get a ticket at the Central Station stop. There was an attendant posted at the bus stop who was very helpful with ticket redemption. He also gave me info on the bus routes and schedule. If you download the app, you can track the buses in real time. Your ticket comes with headphones that you can use for the audio guide. The audio tour has multiple language options. The bus is great if you want to use it to take a sightseeing tour. The entire circuit takes 1.5 hours for the blue route and 1.75 hours for the red route. Along the way we saw major sites like the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. I took the bus to the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium and then continued the rest of the route after my visit. Both drivers that I had weren't great at giving enough time for patrons to get on/off the bus. It takes a bit longer since it's a double decker bus. At one point, patrons had to yell to the driver to stop because people were still trying to make their way off the bus from the upper deck. There's a security camera on board so I assumed the driver can see when everyone has entered/exited the bus, but maybe not. My one piece of advice: Do not rely on the bus for transportation if you are in a hurry. There are a lot of stops and it can take time. At one point on the way back from the Aquarium, the driver took a 20 minute break. I contemplated getting off because I was running short on time, but luckily it worked out. The bus is a great way to explore the city and can be a nice form of transportation if you aren't pressed for time.

This worked quite well because it gave us flexibility as we explored Sydney. A one day bus pass is $65 AUD/$42 USD. So easy to collect our passes for the day using the Go City app. Nice that they could accommodate a rollator on the first level for my dad, while my husband and I climbed the stairs to the open top second level. Made a full loop to get a good overview of the city on the Red Loop. Sydney Opera House. Hyde Park. St. Mary's Cathedral. Barangaroo. Woolloomoolo Bay. State Library. The Rocks. Sydney Harbor Bridge. Royal Botanic Gardens. Darling Harbor. King Street Wharf. The audio which is in multiple languages gave a nice introduction to the major attractions in Sydney. Hopped on at Sydney Tower/Westfield Sydney. Definitely look on the app to find the pickup location which is actually near a jewelry store. The app shows a photo of the pickup location. So easy to take the bus to the Royal Botanical Garden and the Sydney Opera House. Also used the Go City Sydney card for booking an accesible tour of the Sydney Opera House. The Hop On Hop Off Buses are not on a specific schedule, so it was a bit of a challenge with the schedule. Buses only run until 5. Good for an overview of the city, but also used UBER to get from place to place.

Matt had found so many hidden gems to see from local plants, birds, batts and reptiles, to experiences with Koalas, meerkats, and emus. The day never felt rushed, but we got to see all the animals and have the experiences we dreamed of. Matt is a stellar driver so we felt safe at all times, he's super collaborative on how to spend the time, and thoughtful beyond expectation to ensure we had great places to eat even with 2 vegans and 1 celiac. And to top it off, he's the kind of guy you can just relax with, get to know each other, and laugh a lot. It was an amazing day. Highly recommend. And he's an amazing photographer who spent the day taking pictures so we could just enjoy the time without the hassle of grabbing the phone.

Of course the day I planned this tour, it was overcast in Sydney but raining as we drove out into the country side. Oh and foggy and just blah. I had brought a raincoat and was somewhat prepared for the weather but the views were poor. BUT despite the weather, Hayden made our tour. We stopped at a shop so folks who needed to buy a poncho could and also so folks could take a toilet break. And since the weather was uncooperative, Hayden drove us to a small park at the end of a neighborhood to see the Aboriginal markings. We learned about tribal traditions, and about his background on both sides of his family. His knowledge of the area, plants, and critters made everything fun. We drove to Blue Mountain National Park and saw the Three Sisters even though they were trying to hide in the fog. We continued on to Scenic World which was much less touristy than I feared. Great time and highly recommended, no matter the weather.

To paint a clear picture for anyone remotely thinking of using this company, I would look elsewhere. My experience was as follows, Huu Nghia Huynh picked my party of 9 up from the Sydney airport. We gave him the address to our Air BnB and he drove past it 3 times questioning if it was the correct house or not. That was a tad annoying after early traveling. His bus is very dirty. The outside looks ok. But the inside is very dirty. There was garbage everywhere. He does have a trash receptacle on the van by the door. But he doesn't really empty it. My party was constantly cleaning up and emptying the rubbish. His air conditioning on the van also was not working very well. People were constantly asking if the unit was on. He constantly had the air conditioning high, but you could barely feel it. To make things clear. My party comprised of mostly Vietnamese people. There were 3 people who weren't well versed in Vietnamese or couldn't understand it at all. The tour guide is Vietnamese and speaks fluent Vietnamese. But he does NOT speak fluent English. We asked him several times to speak in both languages so everyone could understand the things he was saying. Which he basically refused. That was really frustrating to me. Much of what he enjoyed talking about was not facts about Australia, rather about his educated daughters and how proud he was of them. That's great and all, but it's not like we are friends and I want to know everything about you. We are paying you for a service. He doesn't provide you with any type of itinerary. So you have no idea what you are going to experience. For example, on our second day, we drove 3 hours to the capital (Canberra). He brought us to the capital building and drove around to see all the embassies. He announced the buildings in Vietnamese as he quickly drove by. He let us explore the capital building and have a guided tour to a few members of our party. After which he quickly rushed us out. We were there probably around 1 hour. He then took us to the Australia Mint. I was very excited to go there because watching the money get printed in D.C. was one of my favorite experiences when I visited our nation's capital. My experience there was less than par. Not because the place wasn't amazing. But because we were only allowed to be there 20 minutes MAX. I wanted to see the coins get pressed. He wouldn't allow us to do so. He looked over the edge and said that a man was fixing a machine and told us to leave. The man was actually getting the barrel of blanks ready to be pressed. I was enraged that this was the second time we got rushed out of a building. He then took us to a museum. Also there, 40 minutes to view. He states he does this so we can see a lot. But then we don't enjoy anything. I should also mention, that he finds you places to eat and doesn't rush you to eat fast. So eating is the only time you are allowed to enjoy and take your time. I will never use this company again. He told us he is the owner of this company. He also complained that since there were mostly Americans in our party that he should be getting a daily gratuity. Note that, a local Australian booked this tour company. In Australia tipping is not customary. Therefore it wasn't added to the price. I feel that is extremely frustrating and unprofessional for him to discuss that with us. I feel that he acts as if he's doing you a favor. I think he forgets that he's getting paid for his services and we aren't just hanging out. If you are Vietnamese (and cannot speak English) with LOW EXPECTATIONS, this company is perfect for you.

Our guide ignored NSW park safety guidelines, failed to notice six missing group members, and dismissed responsibility by claiming it's 'impossible' to track customers. The company prioritizes profit over safety, even considering cutting basic food options. I have reported them to NSW authorities and strongly warn others to avoid this company before a tragedy occurs. You will already be able to see this in their reply to this review, as they will attempt to dodge responsibility since their motto is "the customer is always wrong".

And the BBQ was one of my favorite meals that I had in Sydney. If you're thinking about visiting the Blue Mountains while in Sydney, hands down go with this tour.
