I appreciated that Perfect Hands Car Wash was able to squeeze me in last minute, but unfortunately, that's where the good stopped. As soon as I arrived, I was told I should just wait around instead of my wife picking me up because "it wouldn't take long." That immediately made me feel like they were going to rush the job, especially since the lady on the phone had told me to plan for an hour to an hour and a half due to the size of my truck (F250). The staff the whole time seemed rushed and almost bothered that I was even there, despite the fact they didn't close until 5 p.m. and my appointment was at 3:45 p.m. When they finished, they didn't do a walkthrough with me (even though I saw them do one with another customer just before me). Instead, they simply handed me my keys and walked back inside to charge me. The issues were obvious the moment I got into my truck. Dust was still all around my screen, streaks and marks everywhere. Mind you, I paid $88 for this wash. Within two minutes of driving, I stopped for diesel and noticed even more--my rims were only washed on the exterior, not the interior, so as soon as I drove, grime and dirt bled from the inside out. The side steps still had dirt on them, the back bumper where employees had stepped up was dirty, and the side doors still had buildup. This place came highly recommended by my brother-in-law, but I honestly don't see the quality. For what I paid ($78 plus a $10 tip), this was maybe a $30 job at best. I had the basic wash that cost 60$. I was pleased with the job done except they did not vacuum the back part of my Ford Escape. I guess I should have checked before I left . For this price I would expect a better job vacuuming. The workers were nice. They require appointments now but they were able to fit me in. First, let me say, I rarely do reviews -- good or bad -- it is just not my thing but this company I believe deserves for others to know what they can do. I took my daughter's car here to try and get the interior cleaned. Honestly, we had already discussed the possibility of getting a new car because it was so stained from everything from crayon to red juices. Also, was loaded with pet hair. It honestly looks better than it did when I bought it brand new. They dropped me off at work after I left my car around 9:00, and had a complete interior detail finished by 2:30, including the exterior wash and tires. The car looks amazing. Best service I have had with a wash & detail shop or individual, and I've dealt with many. David was very helpful & friendly and so were the guys working on my truck. There have been times in the past where I felt bad about paying the agreed upon amount for what was done to my vehicle.. Overall they did a decent job. My issues where two fold. One they didn't tell me until I was ready to check out that my truck, even though it was a standard truck, fell into the large truck category. That cost an extra $10 I wasn't expecting. In fairness to them they honored the price this one time. Second issue was they didn't really wash my tonneau cover. I contacted the owner David and explained I wanted a thorough overall detail and then for them to really focus on the interior to clean it like new. I had heard great things about the place but apparently if you're not driving a car that they deem "worthy", they won't really put the muscle in it to do their best. I've been washing my truck here, about once a month, since i found out this about business, soon after they opened. My last wash, December for the holidays, the price was 25 bucks, what it's always been. Today I drop it off a little after 10 a.m. and I'm told that the price is $30 and it'll be about two hours. I get a call at 1:45 telling me its ready, I go in to pay and I'm told the charge is $35. I go "you told me 30 this morning". he goes "i must have misspoken, sorry, but its $35". So i pay and leave. I can handle 1 price increase a year, but not two in the same day, a 40% increase over last month. I won't be returning, he should have told me "sorry, $30 today but $35 next time."
