Although the space was clean and the nail techs were all extremely nice, my problem is with the work. I came in for a mani/pedi, and while my nails looked pretty good when I left the salon, they've held up for less than two days. Three of my fingernails were filed poorly (left ragged at the tops), and the polish has noticeably chipped on four of them. The upsell attempt was also fairly annoying. The tech really tried to push the shellac/gel nails to me pretty hard. As far as the pedicure goes, the nail of my little toe was cut strangely; while working on my cuticles, she actually cut off part of the side of my actual nail, and it's been sore since I left. Finally, although she was uncomfortably rough on the soles of my feet, I still have untended to calluses on both my big toes that were actually peeling off the day after, so she was clearly not very thorough. As I said, everyone was extremely nice, but for the price ($35 pedi, $15 mani, +tip), I just don't feel that the service was worth it. The search continues for a good nail salon in the South Hills, since I won't be returning to Touche. read more

I'm a huge fan of everything happening here. The pedicures are thorough and T does a fantastic job, make sure to request her! I've never had to make an appointment and usually just walk in anytime before 5. You can always call ahead to make an appointment with your desired technician (T, I'm telling you - she's the best!). There are 6 pedicure stations with massage chairs. There are about 6 manicure stations as well, but only ever 4 or 5 technicians on hand at a time. If you are planning on bringing a large party make sure to call ahead. The pedicures are reasonably priced and include a hot towel and a leg/foot scrub. They don't cut corners and your feet look great for weeks afterwards! I had a gel manicure once as well, my nails looked wonderful for about 4 weeks. I've hopped around to quite a few nail salons in the past, but I'm a regular at Touché now! read more

I love this nail salon, not only because its bright and clean but the team is fabulous. You can have anyone do your nails and the quality is great. The vibe in the shop is great -very friendly w/a wide variety of colors so pick from all the painted samples vs the bottles. Enjoy a pedi in a massage pedi chair in a separate section of the salon w/2 big screen tvs. The prices are consistent with other shops but they're open 7 days a week... thats a rare find! I went to Touche on racetrack road for the first time (near primanti bros) for a mani pedi and the woman nicked me 3 times......bleeding I said ow stop please stop.....the owner came over and said, oh next time ask for me. I went back to this salon after my tech of years left to go to another state. My experience was good but then my last visit which was a week ago, I asked for a dip manicure and a color change on my toes, Jessica( manager, owners wife I believe) said okay, then when my manicure was almost done( which she totally messed up my cuticles, nail shape is uneven), a group of people came in and she said we can do a color change on your toes if you come back 2 hours later or another day. 4 days later I realized my light purple nails were turning brown, and I have not done anything for them to turn brown, so I go in today 6 days after manicure to get a pedi, and to have them fix my 8 fingers ( other 2 have a pink color on them), I understood they were busy, but I literally spent over 3 hours there, and were my nails fixed no, she half asked fixing my nails and when I brought it to her attention again I let her know how upset I was with my past 2 experiences( this one including my Saturday visit) and that I was not coming back( I said this as calm as possible). She then began to get ignorant with me, I went and sat in a chair for the 3 worst nails to be filed down again to be fixed, I was handed a 25$ gift certificate that is only good for my next visit. When i sat down in the chair to get the 3 nails fixed( which the 2 i had no prob with when walking in) she was arguing with me, was rude, kept taunting me and said i am causing a scene in front of her customers( not at all, I just want my nails fixed, and if it was done right the first time, and not rushed no prob). I then told her after I waited for them to dry that they are still not fixed. I also asked for oil for my cuticles because she chopped them again with the tool they use to file them down. I am now sitting at the nail salon down the street waiting for them to fix a problem that the original salon failed to fix. They were rude, very short and was talking about me not only to each other but to other customers. My opinion of this place changed very quickly. I left the salon in tears. read more

I love this place. It's clean, bright and doesn't have that chemical smell that a lot of nail places do. I've never had the problem that another viewer noted of being pushed into upgraded services, although they do offer them. All of the staff have been very friendly and competent. I had a very bad experience here. I actually left crying. The attendant cut me with those large nail clippers on my big toe, and caused bleeding. It hurt like hell. The rest of the staff went to the back room and cracked and laughed over it in Vietnamese, the only word I caught was "complain". I wouldn't complain about someone accidentally hurting me, but the cackling was inexcusable. I only cried over the way I was treated. I tried to talk to management to no avail. AMAZING! This morning I was sick with the flu and the touche staff truly took care of me with some much needed pampering. I was given directions over the phone and they stayed on the line with me until I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff and beautiful new nail colors at the front desk. We made our pedicure appointments well in advance and we arrived a few minutes early in order to make our color selections. We were rushed to the back of the salon without having made our color selection and with a negative attitude from the technicians- no introduction no names exchanged. Was given a plateful of nail colors from which we were to make our color selections while the massager was operating- not a relaxing experience at all. To top it off our pedicures were the worst ever - sharp edges were on several toes and were refiled at home, the massage was pitiful, my technician (never told me her name)was disinterested even though I tried to engage her in conversation,and her attitude bordered on rude, I was seated last and was finished first. Absolutley the only place I am going from now on to get my nails done. I had tried other nail places in the area and was less than satisfied with the services, but at Touche they are wonderful. They are all very kind people who work there and I have never felt more welcomed in a nail salon in my life. The guy who did my nails was funny and very nice. I told him what I wanted and he did exactly that. He even gave me a wonderful discount because the other nail places had messed up my nails so badly. The prices vary from what I could tell, but for the service and quality it is very much worth it! My nails have never looked prettier! read more

This is my go to spot for any nail service. It's convenient, clean, the tech's are nice, they accommodate walk-ins, and the prices are fair. They always accommodate me, and if I ever have a nail that needs fixed they take of me free of charge! I always leave a pretty big tip because the tech's take their time, they do good work, and always double check exactly what it is I want. Randomly chose this place for a mani-pedi last week. I was looking for a relaxing few hours at the nail salon but didn't exactly have that. First I had my pedicure, I look forward to reading gossip magazines when I get a pedicure but no magazines were offered, and I didn't see any around. So I sat there pretty bored the whole time. Other than that the pedicure was fine. Afterwards I wanted a regular manicure, but felt pressured by the nail techs to get a gel manicure instead. I gave in because I felt awkward and figured it wouldn't cost too much more(wrong). During my manicure process my one finger started bleeding near the nail bed. She tried to stop the blood but it kept coming out. Instead of leaving that finger alone for a little while she continued the process, including wiping the entire area with acetone which stung so bad I audibly said "Ouch!" which she didn't acknowledge. After all was done she told me the total which was $75!!! Over $80 after tip. This seemed really high to me, especially after the bleeding incident. The gel manicure must have been really expensive, and definitley wasn't really anything great. The polish job was kind of sloppy and last night when I showered an air bubble rose up from under my thumb nail polish and then popped after I got out, I guess from the steam in the shower. I've never seen that before. It wasn't a terrible experience but at those prices I'd expect a lot more. I will try somewhere else next time. read more

This salon use to be my go to. I travel from Perryopolis and I didn't mind because I absolutely loved it!! That was until I met the extremely rude gentlemen who made me feel so uncomfortable the last two times I went. When you first walk in his station is on the right hand side by the wall. I always make an appointment because I know how stressful it can be with walk ins. The last time I went I took off my acrylics that I had on and off for a year. When he found out I only wanted a manicure that's where it started going down hill, again. He was talking in a language I did not understand laughing to a lady on the other side. She then said " only a manicure" yes that's all I want this time because I think my nails need to rest. They both laughed and I ended up seeing the lady because apparently my service wasn't worth his time. Whatever I was happy to be seen by somebody else at this point. I want to say I've seen her before and she was great! Until that night unfortunately, I kept hearing " this manicure won't look nice I'm just being honest" well why not? I'm paying for my services- because I didn't want acrylics or gel polish? I couldn't believe how I was being treated. I paid and left and instantly cried in my car over how I was treated, the attitudes- the tone. I'll never go back which is sad because I loved the way my nails turned out. If you aren't paying more than $50- they aren't going to treat you good apparently. Hopefully this changes read more

After being a regular customer of a local nail salon for years,I found myself being disappointed time and again. So yesterday I decided to go to the place my daughter has been going to, Touche nail spa. I was cautiously optimistic. i found a picture on the web and had a picture on my phone. i found the place easily. I was taken immediately( I had an appointment) I had a manicure and a pedicure. Ken was my specialist. Not only did Ken replicate the picture I showed him ,he added a few touches of his own. I will continue to go to Touche and always ask for Ken! I went in for a fill. The girl told me 17.00 for regular fill and 23.00 for pink fill. I told her just use the regular fill, I get my nails done every two weeks and I use color. When I was finished she told me it would be 23.00 I said I wanted the regular fill and I know that's what she used. She said because she had to trim my nails. I been getting my nails done for years and the trim just goes along with the fill. I guess she wanted 23.00 from me. I was looking for a new nail place and this isn't it. read more

I got shellac on my nails and had a chip the NEXT DAY. Because shellac is supposed to last for two weeks, I was shocked that this occurred so soon. I've gotten shellac manicures at other places and had it last for three weeks. I'm sad because it was a waste of money and I will not be returning. read more
