Every time I go in here they know me and treat me well. I had a hiking accident over a year ago and was unable to get my manicure due to long hospital stays. I went in last month in my power chair and Janine recognized me and showed immediately that she was happy to see me. I will always and forever be a Perfect Nails customer. I also will say this. For the most part the salon has been ok. The last visit a guy never had before did my fill in except he left such a gap, they still looked like they needed a fill in. I explained this on a Monday they did not believe I just had done on Saturday. Told to speak to Kim manager on Tuesday. She did not believe it was done on Saturday, she then states I will only fix 3 nails because they grew fast. I told her I do not lie. They could see the poor job done, instead treat you as if you are a liar. I will not go back. This is a bad decision choice for people in business, you don't accuse you customers of lying when poor workmanship is obvious. read more

I would not recommend this place. I went here for a few months due to being close to town. They skip steps when doing nails. prices aren't updated on the board inside. When doing the sanding step after putting acrylic on my nails, it always hurts me fingers and they always found a way to cut my fingers. when i would leave there would be dried acrylic on my fingers, behind my nails, and i'd have small cuts on my fingers. The last time I went there, they took over an hour and a half to do a simple design, it was close to $80 not including any tip, and I got a extremely bad infection because of unclean tools. read more

We were visiting family from out of state. My sister-in-law goes here and recommended this nail salon. We had two gel pedicures, and a dip manicure with some summer art for my daughter. The salon is clean, staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and everyone was happy with their services! Will come back here every summer for mani/pedis when we are on vacation. 10/10 recommend this nail salon to anyone visiting, or who live here in SC! read more

Still on the hunt for a good nail spot...DO NOT GO HERE. I'm new to the area and looking for a new nail spot. This was my second salon. Subpar at best. Rushing, not fully painting the nail, not giving you all pricing options, I had to touch my cuticles for him to actually pay attention to them, pushing a service after being told a firm no, etc. He put the mask in my legs and proceeded to start paining my toes (at this point I was waiting to see how this played out since I knew I would never be coming back) because my toes were painted he couldn't rinse my legs but wiped them and left a sticky film, he should not massage my feet, only my legs and using the word message is being very generous. My niece had issues as well, asking for polish and him 'accidentally' putting gel on and being annoyed when she told him to fix it, she told him how long she wanted the nails and he cut it too short and again, got annoyed when she asked him to fix it. She was so annoyed, she decided against having a pedicure which was her original plan. My Tia had the similar experience. We will never be back. read more

Anything but perfect! Made an appointment for 5 pedicures and 3 manicures. Arrived about 5 minutes before our appointment time waited about 20 minutes and we were not seated together. When I questioned that I was embarrassed and told no one ever wants to sit together? Is that so?? I have always sat with the group I go to the mail salon with. I'm not from this area, so I asked on a local Facebook page where I should go to get a pedicure. Out of 10 responses, 5 of them were for Perfect Nails in Seneca. When I first walked in, they looked very busy. I expected to have to wait awhile. Within five minutes, they had me seated and ready to go. Everything felt very clean and sanitized. Their pedicures start at $28 for a basic and go up from there. I paid $38 plus tip for the orange scented pedi. This is a little bit less expensive than the DFW area where I'm from, so I was thrilled with this. Mary, and all the employees, were very friendly. She did a great job, checking with me the whole way to make sure I was satisfied. She never did massage my legs, but I got the feeling it wasn't included in my price. I'm not sure. The salon was easy to find. They have soft drinks, and probably more, if you want one. Just ask. No one offered. Their massage chairs felt great and worked well, even if the seat part was well-flattened. I would recommend this place, and would go back again. read more

My first time there I got a full set and a pedi. The full set had black dots inside the nails and bubbles, with acrylic all on my fingers. Then on my pedi he cut my toe with the file and it looked like one of my kids painted them. Very rushy. It was also $80!!! DO NOT GO THERE! read more

Recently moved to the area and am excited to have found Perfect Nails! I've worked with a few different technicians and had a great experience each time. The massages with my pedicures have been great and the massage chairs are really comfortable too. Great color selections for regular, gel and dips. I made an appointment with Kim about a week prior to my appointment after seeing a few reviews that said only to use her if going to this salon. I made the appointment for 11 and arrived at 11:01 to find that Kim wasn't even at the salon. I was told to "find my color" which I had done prior to arriving. I waited 30 minutes after being told "she's only 5 minutes away" . I understand things happen. But not being there and lying about how long it'll be is ridiculous. I was once again asked about my color by someone who wasn't even doing any of my services. And I repeated to him that I had a picture and everything picked already. I gave it 2 more minutes, because I was feeling like being nice. At this point I didn't care what my nails would look like I got up and left. As I'm leaving he says "no no she is only 3 minutes away". I told him I had an appointment at 11 and wasn't waiting anymore, I had already waited over 30 minutes and she still wasn't even there and that I had other things to do and there are plenty of other salons around. He then proceeded to tell me I arrived at 1115 which was a lie. And I said that. I'm appalled at the lack of professionalism and will not be going back nor recommending this place to anyone! read more

The salon is pretty and has good reviews online, so I thought I'd give it a try. Upon arrival, I was seated immediately but rushed to choose a polish color - the manicurist started filing my nails with the electric tool as soon as I sat down, while I was trying to pick a color, as opposed to allowing me to choose a color prior to starting the manicure - obviously not ideal. They did not use any cuticle cream to soften, alcohol to disinfect, etc, and used the electric tool on my nails, thinning them badly prior to applying gel - the whole process (both mani and pedi) were EXTREMELY rushed and not relaxing at all. After my manicure, I was directed to a pedicure chair that had not been cleaned after the last client. I had to ask for the chair to be cleaned (there was still water and debris from the last client). The stylist gave the footrest a cursory wipe with a dry towel, no sanitizer. Throughout the session, I felt like the manicurist was trying to sandpaper my skin off my fingers and toes - again, rushing through the process. The end result was average. Prices are MUCH higher than other nearby salons. Unfortunately will not return. read more

I went in for a pedicure/manicure. What struck me was the unhygienic way they cleaned the foot baths between clients. They used the clients towel to wipe out the bowl after a client left. They used that towel to wipe the work area also. This is after that towel was used to wipe down the previous clients feet multiple times. There was complete sharing of brushes, nail clippers, etc. between clients. I asked if they sterilized their equipment and they became quite upset as the woman searched for a different pair of toe clippers for me. It did not come out of a sterile pack as I have seen at other salons. I declined my manicure after my pedicure. read more

Literally the worst nail place I have ever been to. I went there and sat down to have my nails done and told them that I wanted the almond shape and they told me that it would cost $5 more than the traditional shape. -which didn't make any sense to me. She starts filing my nails down and it is really hurting. The more she does my nails, the more it hurts. I thought it might had just been me since I haven't had my nails done in a while but then my finger started to bleed. She gets out this blue liquid (I think it was nail glue) and puts it on the cut. That stung really badly. Then she goes on filing the other nails until they bleed too. She starts putting the blue liquid on the new cuts. I'm a nail biter so when it comes to pain tolerance on my nails, I can usually tolerate. But it was excruciating! She goes back to the first finger that bled (which is now clotted with glue) and starts filing it again until it breaks open again! This time, I said "Ow!" and she said "sorry". She then proceeds to get a bottle out labeled "alcohol" and dumps it all over my fingertips and then my whole hand is burning like crazy. When everything is finally done, I'm left with hands that look like they went through a shredder and they feel like it too. Then I find out that they don't take debit cards and that is all I have with me. I ask if they take a checks and they don't take checks from out of state and I'm from Ohio. So my sister-in-law that was with me (which had issues with pain too) had to run all the way to the gas station to get cash. Let's just say that there was no tip. 4 days later, 2 of my nails came off. I called the salon and they told me that there was nothing they could do.
