He would also bark constantly at home with every little noise, and try to herd our cats around the house to the point they got so stressed out they were spraying. Long walks, which my husband and I loved, were impossible and super embarrassing because he triggered the whole neighborhood of dogs with his incessant barking. Holly stepped in and within the first visit-THE VERY FIRST VISIT!!!-we had a walkable dog! She bonded with Max and spoke his language right away. Lounging on the couch peacefully with our cats was possible again. Barking is now manageable and appropriate for the situation (doorbell, ect.), and we can stop the barking with a calm verbal command. Holly is so great! You should definitely hire her! This facility is the best - clean, great personnel, personal time for my dogs spending the night, and happy, well loved dogs upon my return from extended vacations as well as day care and training. I know how well they were treated because they have always been excited to go back!! The training experiences really helped me train my pit bull puppy to become a great canine citizen who could go anywhere I went. I adopted a special needs bully who has spent the night(s) there several times, and he loves going there. First my dog loves the interaction with other dogs and their owners. Secondly, we continue to learn, even though my dog has passed the International Therapy Dog test and we work as volunteers at a local hospital. This is the first dog I have enrolled in a program like this and as a life long dog lover and owner, he is honestly the first dog I have ever owned that comes when he called, does not go crazy when someone comes to the door and has respect for people. I did have an issue with this dog in a particular area and worked with the trainer on a one on one basis. Our problem was quickly resolved. Communication is the key here. The trainer is open to new ideas and will address specific problems when asked. I can't say enough good things about this program!!!
