I would definitely recommend Susan to you. I continued my piano lessons with her after studying at the Royal Conservatory of Music for a couple of years. Her method and approach to teaching the piano is very fun and effective. Looking forward to her next lesson! read more

As a young adult starting piano lessons, it can be intimidating to reach out to music teachers and admit that you are at level 0- but Susan made me feel comfortable from day 1 and worked with me, taking in consideration my level, my music taste, and my schedule. I definitely recommend her for kids and adults alike, I learnt so much in under just two months with her! Bonus points: her classes are totally affordable, and the location downtown can't be beat. read more

Susan is very personable and a good teacher! I have been a student nearly half a year now and I'm enjoying the experience so far! She has a grand piano at her house and learning on that instrument is such a cool experience. Recommend to anyone willing to commit to learning the piano. read more

I've had a great time taking weekly lessons with Susan. She is very encouraging, talented, easy to talk to and I have noticed a huge improvement in my piano skills. I would also suggest taking her theory classes if you can. Very highly recommended!! read more

Susan is an excellent teacher, who really takes the time to make sure you get the proper technique before playing pieces. She really made the experience enjoyable for me, as she customized the learning to suite my needs. I would highly recommend her as a teacher, whether you are an experienced player, or just beginning. read more

I wont forget him haha he was so kind and polite, even gave me a free pick, honestly if i have thoughts on going to music shops id pick this shop everyday.. I recommend people to go here.

Sure they're nice but they're terrible at fixing guitars. They were able to give my Ibanez a…read morestandard setup and replace one of the pickups no problem but when I brought my bass in, they did basically nothing to fix it. I asked them to see if they could fix the buzzing that was happening every time I played it and fix both of the knobs which would just spin around and do nothing. When I got it back the buzz was almost worse and one of the knobs completely just screwed off (wasn't doing that before) would not recommend this place if you're wanting more than just a set up. Waste of $120.

I am thrilled to have Susan as a Piano teacher. She is highly skilled as a pianist, and she is very nice, caring and generous in her instruction to students. As an adult piano learner, I wasn't really sure what to expect, but i have found Susan to be great about motivating me, keeping me interested, and adapting her teaching to my personal style, interests, strengths and weaknesses. She makes a lot of effort to teach me the things that will be most interesting and relevant to me based on my own learning goals, which i love. Her lessons are fun, entertaining and full of knowledge! i would definitely recommend her to anyone, especially to adult learners who have a strong sense of what kind of music they are interested in. read more

Susan is by far the best piano teacher I have worked with. I only wish I had found her sooner in my piano studies. She adapts very quickly to her students' style and pace of learning and keeps us motivated. One of the things that I was lacking was confidence to perform in front of an audience. She helped me overcome that initial barrier by encouraging me to perform at a recital. She is very proactive in finding the pieces that we might enjoy playing, and if a song is not working out she will always have an alternative of an equivalent level. Susan is a great great teacher! She is very creative, inventive, able to keep you focused throughout the whole class. It is Susan who I entrust my daughter Kira to discover the world of piano. Last summer she trained my kid to perform at the pan american games event. The thing was we had only one night to learn and practice the tune... Susan's dedication and talent did it all. We had a successful performance. Moreover, in Europe my kid's teachers admitted her technique improved quite a lot. read more

Susan is an excellent teacher who is devoted to the musical craft. She is flexible not only in scheduling lessons but also to your individual needs as a student, whether it be skill-development or learning speed. Of course, learning piano is all about how much practice you put into it, but it doesn't help to have a guide to tell you what you're good at and what you need to improve on, and Susan fulfills her role as guide with enthusiasm and dedication. read more

I was visiting toronto, and I sent many emails to lots of teachers asking if they can teach me piano in just few weeks and that im a begginer. Susanna was the only teacher who accepted to do it. I stayed for 4 weeks and she gave me 8 lessons. IT WAS MAGICAL. She's a great teacher a perfect teacher. She made a dream come true. I can't beleive that I can play the piano now ^_^. Susanna is a very patient and friendly teacher. I am an adult beginner who haven't played piano for a long time (I had tried playing piano when I was a kid, but I had forgotten everything). My interest in piano grew stronger as I took more lessons from her. Susanna is very experienced and she knows how to explain concepts in an easy manner. Schedule is very flexible as well. My daughter, Adwoa, started learning piano with Susan before she turned 5 and Susan was excellent at teaching her to sit calmly and play for relatively long periods. Adwoa still plays piano today and I still wish Susan is her teacher today but Toronto is too far from Ottawa :-) read more
