I was attending mass at Our Lady Of Loretto Church in hempstead New York. After the mass, the…read moresocial services dept of the church made a speech. Ana from Social Services stated " if anyone is suffering a hardship to please come fill out an application and that they will do everything to try to help the community. I went to the basement of the church with my wife and she interviewed us. Ana told us that someone would be calling us to setup a house visit.I called the church and I was told that they can't help me any further and that I have to personally speak with St Vincent de Paul. Since April I haven't heard from anybody. In July I was called by a volunteer Rosalba whom on multiple occasions kept asking for my paystubs, car insurance documents,phone bill, energy bill etc. I've forwarded these documents multiple times . First I was told I qualify for help with one months rent. Then she calls me to tell me that she doesn't think I qualify. Then I've spoken with Paula many times whom told me that she was going to speak with Rosalba and someone in charge in giving help. It's now the new year and I haven't heard back from St Vincent De Paul. I'm a Catholic and I feel that everyone should be treated equal regardless of race, or nationality. I've spoken with Obisto Romero and I will also be making a formal complaint with Father Rufus Vasquez. God Bless everyone in St Vincent De Paul and hopefully someone reads this and at least helps me with one month of rent. I hope that god blesses Rosalba to make the right decision and try to help me. Coming from a Catholic Church it really doesn't look right how you preach to people all the help you can provide and yet you do nothing to help anyone. You should practice what you preach . Also it's not fair to help only one type of race which I can't say on hear and the rest of people left out. We are all gods children and should be treated equally as such.

Very clean and well executed I find the church to be a very comforting and consoling place especially when I'm lacking or having short comings about my faith The holy water bowls are well maintained and always clean It's rated 5 stars and highly recommended if you are a hard core or so-so catholic

Lisa of the consolation team communicated effectively with me days before the service. She was compassionate and took great notes about my mother, this was beautifully reflected by Father John in his homily. Just the day before, Father Rolando prayed with us at Cassidy's Funeral Home, also done with respect in honoring my mother's time on earth. A wonderful and inviting Catholic church, it is not surprising why my parents became a part of this community.

Unbeknownst to me she was only a member of the church and rented the hall for me but in her own name. She received my deposit back and has went missing. I have contacted the church who haven't been helpful in resolving this issue. I will continue to write bad reviews until someone takes responsibility for this. I need my money and am now forced to take them all to court. Not what I would expect from a church. Rather than accept the actions of the member and give me my money (and handle the problem with their member)...they have attempted to remove themselves from the situation altogether. All this for $125.00. I wonder if they know that when she handles these rentals Connie Tomlinson tells the people they bring/drink alcohol?? Now that I know she isn't the rental contact...I am sure the church officers have no idea...because I was shocked myself. Make it right Trinity-St. Johns Episcopal WWJD??

She refused to connect me with him ! So I called the Lcms and got his cell number. Called, and he also had a bad attitude . I BEGGED him to allow me 15 minutes of his time . I explained I would like to join his congregation and I would like to also bring my God daughter. He flat out REFUSED to meet me UNLESS I attended one of his services !!! But this is why I wanted to meet him first, to ask a few questions and get a feel for the pastor. He refused again ! If he is that afraid to meet with someone who is interested in joining his parish, then he should find another career . I went on to report him and the secretary to the LCMS. It took them over a year to get back to me after I called them several times and emailed them several times too ! Sad to say, this left me with a very bad taste in my mouth for the Lutheran church.
