I believe they offered to let us take samples home to try them out, but we made our choice in store. My husband and I chose a wood look flooring by Coretec for its easy to clean nature and resistance to dog scratches. The flooring itself did take quite a while to come in - like 8 months or so - but this was not Christie Carpet's fault (supply chain issues!) and they called me every few months with an update. My install took an entire business day (a nice excuse to take off of work) and the installers were friendly and professional. We are extremely happy with our new floor and I highly recommend Christie for your flooring needs!

Unsecured counter tops, they talked us into laminate flooring because it would be durable & low maintenance. Not the case at all. The laminate was not only cut short along the corners but was not installed securely to where water was able to get under & cause damage. I had brand new cabinets put in that is now covered in mold & a new sub floor soaking wet & riddled with mold because at the time of installing everything they shoved they incompetently shoved the dishwasher in, secured it with screws (which means it has not been moved or touched since) which created a crack in the hose & has been leaking ever since. $12,000 & two years later I am back to where I started having to replace the flooring & possibly cabinets due to mold & this company will not be ever considered to do that work let alone any work. The worst part is, the main guy who is in charge or managing the job was a long term friend of my family & he totally scammed & took advantage of us going to him for help. Needless to say I am beyond unimpressed & heart broken that at this time I am reliving this nightmare in my home all over again. Lesson learned. Bryan was easy to work with over the phone and even accommodated us when we needed to reschedule due to a family situation. Bryan and Jeff were on time, friendly, respectful, and did an amazing job on our kitchen, front foyer and back hallway. The before and after pictures truly tell the story. There was some dust, but not a lot. They did put up plastic sheets to minimize dust in the other areas. We did spend about 30 min vacuuming and dusting before we put everything back together and that really was not a big deal. So worth it and I feel like I might be ahead of schedule on my spring cleaning! We have a couple more rooms to do and we will schedule with them for sure!

In addition to that, they also replaced 3 closet door sets, 2 exterior doors, replaced several light fixtures and ceiling fans and installed a new ceiling fan, replaced toilets, etc....DJ and his partner were given full access to the house and they were there every day, like clock work for almost 5 weeks and the place looks beautiful. They were prompt, courteous, polite, tidy and very skilled. Their work habits and attention to detail, etc...speaks volumes. DJ even acted as my agent and helped see other projects get done while he was doing his thing (garage floor epoxy, whole house generator install, appliance delivery and moving-he put a covering on the wood floors so they wouldn't get damaged, etc....) They weren't the lowest quote we received, but not the highest either. We had a somewhat aggressive timeline and they were the only ones who said they could do it. They worked into the late evening a few times just to make sure they did. Communication was very good, especially when we were not there one single day during the project, but 4 states away. If there was a question, DJ called. If I didn't answer, he would move on to something else until he got ahold of me and had the question answered. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures of our project posted on his website. The bathroom, especially the tiling, gets alot of "ahhhs" and "oooohs" and a couple other contractors (working for HD) have looked at it and were impressed as well. Even our painter positively commented on it and he usually isn't complimentary :) Don't let their age keep you from hiring Dede. You'll swear they are 10-15 yrs older than they are. We look forward to having him do our other full bath in a couple months once we recuperate from moving in. After they left, we noticed a sizable scratch (I believe they moved a piece of furniture and never said anything about the scratch). We tried numerous times to have them come and look to repair the scratch. It took awhile, but finally, the original installer came and looked. He promised to come back and make the repair. We are still waiting months later. We have made numerous calls to address the issue, voicemail that has gone unanswered, and even stopped in the store itself. They make promises but don't deliver. The after care is awful. I would not recommend them. Very poor customer care.
