Louise has completely changed that mindset for me and shown me that it's truly never too late. I enjoy every single lesson. She has helped me learn how to actually use my voice, and I've noticed such a difference over time. I love the warm-ups--sometimes my voice feels weak when we start, but after a few exercises I feel strong, comfortable, and ready to sing. No matter what song or genre I choose, she can play it beautifully on the piano and guide me toward the right tone and technique. She has an incredible ear for music and is clearly so talented. She has helped me to discover my voice and my abilities in music. Yes there are different bundles to sign up. It took me a while of practicing and feeling comfortable at first I thought I was not going to be successful. But now I can drum and sing at the same time. I'm getting better with tempo, beats and timing includes rhythm. I will probably end up with all her classes. She does have retreats which I do hope to attend one day. But now I'm writing songs and practicing makes perfect. It all comes together and yes sometimes it doesn't make sense. But keep at it and it will come through your body and voice.

Her voice is beautiful and she is a talented artist but does not seem to have a lot of integrity.

I'd been…read moredealing with a really frustrating problem for a while: either the G or D string would barely speak unless I pressed extremely hard with my left hand. The weird part was that whenever I changed one of those strings, the new one would suddenly respond much more easily... and then the other one would start having the same issue. It kept switching back and forth and was driving me crazy. It turned out the bridge was crooked. My untrained eyes couldn't really tell so I didn't think that was the problem. Von carefully adjusted it and also shared some great stories from his years in the business, including working with Isaac Stern. That combination of skill and genuine care meant a lot. Really grateful. Prior to this, I also had my bows rehaired here and their pricing is fairly reasonable. If you're in the Denver area and need violin work done right, this is the place.

I'm so pleased with my violin repair. I loved the sound before and couldn't image it better. I…read morebought a good quality violin 7 years ago and had only had one repair when the sound post fell. Derek at Von's saw the the post was too short, I needed a new bridge. I was hesitant. But the difference is night and day. Derek also repaired a crack under the tailpiece and a seam repair. I'm virtually playing a whole new violin. So very happy with the experience I need a rehair next, and to keep everything humidified properly so it remains a beautiful violin.
