I took a leap of faith, bought the offer, and it has turned into a fabulous experience. I've learned more than I could imagine before I started. My instructor is amazing. She also teaches other instruments and voice, but my focus is piano. She is not only an instructor, but also a professional performer. Very qualified and fun. I could not be more pleased with my experience at Sollohub School of Music. During the fall, students were given the option of signing up for recording sessions at a professional studio in Denver. As a total beginner, I did not participate, but what a great opportunity to create holiday gifts for those more accomplished students. If you are considering lessons for yourself or a family member, I highly recommend Sollohub School of Music. As I come and go, I see mostly school age kids arriving for lessons, so the school serves all ages.

One guy by the front kind of gave me a weird look and didn't even say hello. I don't need some jolly fellow to loudly greet me and talk my ear off. But a simple acknowledgment that I'm there and a quick "Hey, welcome to our shop, let me know if I can answer any questions" goes a long way. Cool shop, bad customer service.

I was on top of the world after my first "session" with my newborn daughter. If only I had taken…read moreas much care to put my Vintage Guild Acoustic securely on the stand as I do my daughter on the changing table, I might have never had a need for Victor Guitar. Nevertheless, a face plant to the hardwoods left me with a broken headstock. I dropped it off at Victor Guitar and they gave me two options: 1. The pro fix involving splines 2. The less invasive fix involving pressure and glue for about 1/2 the cost. Since I don't gig anymore, I went with the second option. Two days later, I picked up my Guild and could hardly tell anything had ever happened. A quick scan revealed the action a bit higher on the bass side of the neck, so Tom happily adjusted the truss rod for no extra charge. I'm happy to note that I've since since enjoyed a second session with my little girl, who was 100% satisfied with dad's performance as Dad is with Victor Guitar.....I think. Great guys. Custom shop and feel. Great customer service. Highly recommended.

I brought in a 1971 Martin 000-18 to have a new pick guard put on and the bridge glued. They cut a…read morenew pick guard and glued it on. It looks kind of amateurish done and has sharp edges. You can also see where the old pick guard was and when you lay the old pickguard on top of the new they are not the same size. First time I've came here and I came because of all of the reviews. I need to have tuners replaced. I won't have them do it. It cost $410. I also failed to mention that when they repaired the cracked bridge, they put in new pins and kept the originals. That is on me for not noticing and asking about them. I don't play and I inherited this guitar from an old friend who just passed away. They did leave me the old original pick guard. I am now going to have the guitar completely refurbished.
