Being an athlete, and having injured myself many times, I know that PTs aren't magicians, and sometimes the process doesn't turn out how you want. I went in with a torn calf muscle from basketball, after 2 weeks on crutches, hoping to return to the court in 8-12 weeks. I chose Performance PT almost solely bc they had quick availability while other places were scheduling weeks out, and I wanted to get started right away. The facility was excellent, clean, and bright. Dana at the front desk was really nice and helpful. Avery, the PT, was amazing--so knowledgeable and so fun to talk to. I saw her twice a week, always looked forward to it, and went away with lots to do on my own at home. After 7 (!) weeks I was able to return to the court at full strength--in time for my team's championship game (which we won!). I was told after they run my insurance that it was going to be 150$ the first visit, and then 75 for the following sessions. I payed on site after my first visit but they didnt allow me to pay after the second, that was shady. Some days after that i got a bill for another 400$ for the first visit, the one that I already payed for. Be careful they will try to rip you off. How can they tell you a price and then is 300% more expensive? If they have told me from the beginning that it was going to be 550$ for the visit I would have run away. read more

We had a negative experience at Performance Physical Therapy. Had a physical therapist who didn't seem to have any plan for improvement for my husband's hip replacement. Every time he returned home he had been given completely different exercises to the point where he was so confused he wasn't sure what he was supposed to be doing. His physical therapist also kept insisting he return to the original surgeon who repaired the hip, even though he is in another City and repaired hubbies broken hip with a rod that is way to long and causes extreme discomfort. Every time he visited for therapy she kept insisting he return to the operating physical even though hubs kept telling her he would not. She even went as far as e mailing him at home insisting he contact the operating physician. Which at this point felt like harassment and was not conducive to hubbies therapy or well being. I finally responded to her with hubs blessing and asked her to stop her insistance as we are receiving excellent care from his regular physician close to home. Within the next few days hubby cancelled all further therapy appointments with Performance Physical Therapy because he felt his therapist had over stepped her boundaries in her insistence that we return to a physician we did not like. We would never return to Performance Physical Therapy. read more

I had a great experience here. Went for a couple months and went from hardly walking to hiking 8 miles in steep terrain. Also helped me with other nagging injuries and I learned some important stuff about how to train and exercise properly. I asked lots of questions. They know their stuff. read more

After 10 years of Army service and dozens of running injuries, I was finally referred to Kenny at PPT&SC. Suffering from an achillies injury, Army Docs told me I would "never" be able to run again. Day one, Kenny told me he would not use the word "never," and that he believed I would be able to enjoy running again some day soon. Sure enough, after 3 months with Kenny I was back to running. Since then--and 12 months--I have completed not only my first long distance race, but also, 6 half marathons and 3 olympic triathlons. I was referred to this establishment shortly after having ACL reconstruction therapy and found my therapist to be extremely knowledgeable and sympathetic. After just one session, I was able to abandon my crutches. After 2 weeks, my limp was almost entirely gone. These guys train pro athletes so that speaks for itself but even for my schlubby, weekend warrior self they ensure I get the best possible treatment that yields the best possible results. read more

Don't bother with Kenny Peyton, DPT. Especially if you've had surgery next door. He didn't bother to read my wife's surgical report, had a conference with the surgeon on the golf course, and told her that her shoulder " shouldn't hurt there." Hello? Why discount someone's pain when you don't have all the facts and haven't taken the time to do simple patient care. Now he want to be paid for his inferior care. Right. I think not. jh read more

My experience here was exceptional-- thanks to Domenick. If you're a Combat Arms guy who's job depends on health and fitness, then request Performance Physical Therapy from your primary care provider. When you get to PPT, request Domenick. The facility is fine and everyone is nice; the difference maker for me was the right PT. Domenick is exceptionally proficient, has the right attitude, pushes you hard (but can also perform the challenging movements himself), and gets results.
