After arriving for my appointment, I was told the price would be more than they quoted me the week before. This should've been my sign. I told them they entered the information into their computer system, but they failed to look at the information while I was at the store. After I left, they called and texted me telling me that indeed the quoted price was in the system. I agreed to come back for the agreed upon service. After the service was performed, a large hole was noted in my bumper. I notified the shop of the issue. I arrived at the shop when they opened and was shown a video of how the damage occurred. It was an accident (which happens). Initially the manager said they'd take care of everything, but then he changed his mind stating there was preexisting damage-even though there's no proof of preexisting damage. They did 2 different intake forms for my vehicle, and neither noted any damage on the bumper. My bumper had no damage or holes prior to my arrival-their video evidence supports this. The only thing we have proof of is that the technician damage my bumper, to the point it is in no longer functional and needs to be replaced. They admitted to the damage but refused to replace the bumper due to unproven "preexisting damage". What are the odds that a 9 day old car has damage and is then damaged again in the same exact spot and is caught on camera? I bet my odds are better to win the lottery. Sad thing is, tbey are nice enough guys and did a good jobs on the tint, just be aware that they won't fix damage done at their facility. I discussed the situation at length with the manager. He asked for a 3 days to review the video to prove there was existing damage. I agreed to the time frame but never heard back. read more

I didn't use them and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Talked with owner online and was quoted a price. Was never once asked if I had tint on my windows. Nothing. Just told a price and to come on in. Surprise surprise when I arrive they immediately try and sell me a tint costing almost 100 more. They also acted as though the price I was stating didn't exist. I was then advised that I had tint on my windows already as though I couldn't clearly see that. Smh. Rude and deceptive business. Stay clear. Unless you don't mind being scammed. Owner tried to explain his guy didn't know a special price. Lol. But still wanted to charge for removing tint when again if he had asked that simple question I would have told him I had tint to begin with. I was not being in any way deceptive. Before coming out to PPS, I put out a request for quote to about 10 different groups on Yelp. I provided fairly detailed information on the project, the parts I had, what I was able to do on my own, where I ran into trouble and what was left to do based on my understanding. Victor was the first to respond and was happy to engage in conversation. We went back and forth 1-2 times before anyone else responded. He gave me a quote, as well as a rate and time estimate so I understood where he was coming from (which I greatly appreciated). More than half of the groups I reached out to did not engage and just said "come on by and we'll take a look", which defeated the purpose of asking for a quote and providing the detail I did. At this point I was down to two options. They had engaged, provided good information and made me feel like they understood the project. I went with PPS, and set a time to come by (2 days after initial contact). There were a few people there already so there was a short wait, but ultimately the work was done quickly (inside the initial estimate) and professionally. They even helped correct a mistake I had made when I had started the project myself. Tito did a great job. I don't often have need for these kinds of services... but the next time I do I'm coming back to Victor (even if I do have to drive 45 minutes to get there). read more

Went in for a loose hid connection. Guy talked me into replacing the whole system, which wasn't necessary. When I got my truck back, the turn signal stem came out of the steering column, it was broken. They said it wasn't them, though it was perfect when it went in. I think they might have purposely done this because I wouldn't upgrade to more stuff. Find someone else to do your lights. read more

A Quality business in every virtual aspect. As a referral to my background I've owned, installed and built my own car sound systems since the age of 14 (currently 23) . After countless bouts with rigging my own systems, I'd decided to sit this one out and let the professionals do the job given the fact the system I'd purchased was for my girl friends vehicle. I purchased two 10'' 1200 watt (600 RMS) triton subwoofers + amp. First , from a consumers/buyers perspective you want and expect certain things from a company that vary from each individual . Keeping that in mind you also want ,in general, a company to be state of the art and in tune with current industry standards . Performance Pit Shop provided all of that . From demonstrating different systems on the showroom floor to recommending setups dependent on your car; they hit their mark. Although their sales tactics model typical car lot salesmen ( ex. offering upgrades or up-selling) they never over indulge the notion to the point of alienating you as the consumer/buyer . As I specified before, I have fairly good knowledge of car audio engineering and the plethora of brands associated with the market ,that being the case they never tried to school me or offer unsolicited information like most audio shops tend to do. Most shops tell you what to do and what you should put in your vehicle and bash you for voicing an opposing point. As if the sound system is going in their own vehicle they none the less act as know it alls. In conclusion this shop is a good business and the install was seamless . The techs put everything back where it was supposed to be , down to the clips and screws that are often left out because most people don't care to check for those things. One side note , I withheld a star do to there onsite inventory lacking some brands I preferred . As picky as that sounds I prefer variety and/or options where everything is on hand/displayed and dosen't need to be ordered in. Definitely will do business with them in the future . read more

They did an excellent job installing the window tint on my vehicle. The only problem I have with them is that I requested limo tint on my windshield strip and they used the same tint as the front windows. Unfortunately, it didn't register with me immediately. It was several weeks later that I realized the tint was the wrong one. So they got paid and I have a tint strip different than what I requested. read more

Performance Pit Shop came highly recommended by my sister who had them tint the windows of her brand new 2020 Honda. I was a little envious as her tints came out looking much better than the job a prior shop had done on my Porsche. She raved about them so much that I decided to give them a call. I also had previously ordered some custom made carbon fiber interior center console pieces for my car, and was looking for some reputable shops who would take the time to perform a clean install. I also needed my tints re-done, and my headlights restored. Upon briefly speaking with Diego, I could sense the respect and honesty in his voice. I decided to book an appointment and make the trip to the shop, which would turn out to be the best decision i made that week. Upon arrival, Diego inspected my car, explaining the process involved, the different types of tints they used, and also made recommendations on the best tints he would recommend on an exotic car. I was very impressed at how fair and honest he was on not only the price, but the labor timeframe such a job would require, since I had done prior research and gotten estimates from other shops including my local Porsche dealership. I'm still in awe on the finished product!..the new tints done on my car has totally transformed the look of my car! So much so that thinking about how much I paid the prior shop who did my tints prior for what I now see was a mediocre job, doesn't hurt as much lol. My headlights that Performance Pit restored also came out amazingly clear and now looks even better that it did when I purchased the car! They even took the liberty of installing protective vinyl on them to make sure they stay bright for years to come! The carbon fiber interior work was so meticulously installed, that there were absolutely zero scratches on any of the pieces (which was what I was originally worried about). They even cleaned up the interior and the mats for me to make sure they left no dirt behind! Talk about customer service!. All in all, I am not only satisfied, but I will definitely be bringing more projects their way, as they have gained a customer for life! read more

Cancelled an appointment where I usually get my tint done to come here because they wrote down the wrong appt. Well there loss. Now when I buy a new car I will be coming here. They called to confirm my appt the day before. When I got there they explained the different grades of tint and never pressured me in to one kind. After choosing what I thought was best for me he was very thorough in what I was to expect. I went with the best that had a warranty. I decided to get a strip across the front and he told me I might not like it because of the little black dots sometimes turn white. Well mine came out perfect. I was very concerned that the suede on my doors would be stained by the application of the tint and they a wonderful job and were very careful to keep me car perfect. I'd recommend them for sure. Make sure you read other bad reviews, smh I wish I did. I just got my windows tinted by them a couple hours ago; sadly I can't say I had the greatest experience. There were some miscommunication regarding the pricing. I feel as the professionalism was lacking. I told the representative that I didn't want to spend over $250- give and take $300 for an additional fees such as warranty. This was my first time doing this; I called ahead of time to ask about pricing and I was given the quote of $160 for my little Lexus hatchback. But when I walked in the appointment and was presented the options, all of the sudden their lowest tier was over $200. I was confused. Than when I agreed on their second tier option --because I wanted warranty. I signed for the total price of around $350 (this included the windows and the windshield). That where it goes south; they call letting me know my car was done-- again I ask for the price to double check I took out enough. Than all of the sudden the price was $500. I ask how ! And the rep said taxes, there was no way. They charged me a additional $130 for the windshield; and told me he wrote the price of everything in the corner of the paper. No sir ! You could have written anything after I signed the paperwork that was not the agreed price. In a nut shell I asked them to remove the windshield tint; they wouldn't and gave me it half off without the warranty. With taxes the total was $440. To top that, the customer service nose dived after-- they left white stuff all over my car. I wouldn't recommend at all; never sign without seeing the finished product! read more

These guys understood that I was trying to have something done that wasn't a normal request and they didn't feel comfortable doing the work on my truck because what I wanted was truly hard to guarantee.
