And they didn't charge me for the inspection. This is the type of place that used to exist - a neighborhood shop where you could trust the owner and he would be there to help.

Glen at United Speed helped me out with machine work on a 2001 Honda Prelude cylinder head- the…read moreharmonic damper came off, timing was lost, bent the valves etc. Glen and his team pressure tested and checked valves- they we are all bent. He recommended sources for replacement parts, decked the head, replaced all the valves and stems and performed a 3-angle valve job. He gave me constant updates and did an outstanding job!! Was better than new and spotless when I picked it up! I reassembled the engine and adjusted the lash, the engine roared to life first try. I pressure tested each cylinder and everything is in the green, like new!! Don't bother trying some other shop and worrying whether they will screw you over.
