I found them via an internet search and obviously did not know what to expect when looking for my specific vehicle part. Upon indicating the part I was in search for, I was informed of the item's availability, price, and hours of operation. My 1991 Morgan Plus8 was overheating and Langston's Auto was our closest potential option for assistance. A group of 4 of my traveling companions and I pulled into their facility on highway 301. We asked if they sold 50/50 engine coolant and William Martinez said I dont think so but let me check...William came back a few minutes later with a gallon of 50/50 but it was slightly dented and he said that he couldn't sell it to us in that condition but that he could give it to us. What a life saver/ engine saver for us. We would have happily paid but he insisted that he wouldn't feel right doing that. I dont live in the Tampa area but when I am in the neighborhood this will be my first stop for any conceivable tires, parts etc. read more

OK so what I experienced has now become a 3 day ordeal with this business. Prior to showing up the 1st day..we looked online and saw that the alternator part we needed was in stock $75 for this location so the next day.. Day 1 of this ordeal..I went to go purchase said alternator. I get there to be told that they don't have any in stock and it would need to be special ordered to arrive tomorrow but would instead be a total cost of $108. So I pay for it and go home. Day 2 I returned to pick up the special ordered alternator to later find out that eventually it was the wrong part even though on my receipt it showed the correct part. Day 3 I returned again with the receipt, wrong part, and the original alternator part needing replaced. They magically now had the correct part even though I never called ahead or special ordered it. They exchanged the wrong part for the correct part and took back the old alternator and seemed as if they weren't going to even give it back or offer any money for the core part that was still worth something until my roommate spoke up to ask about it. They did end up giving him $15 for the core but said they couldn't offer any other money refund until some guy named Shawn called me because he was out for lunch. I later got a phone call from this Shawn where he claimed that they truly didn't have the part in stock that first day and what I saw online must have been for a different location. He did apologize for the wrong part on the second day but went on to blame the person who sent them the part. Lastly he did offer $21 refund back to my card for the hassle and the special ordering but I really doubt his explanation for the first day being I showed up today without warning or special ordering and now they magically have it in stock!? Besides the fact that they just wanted to place blame elsewhere for all their explanations. Just doesn't seem like a honest business or management..I wouldn't trust them unless you have things printed out in writing especially if you find it in stock online..they would rather special order it and Jack up the cost. read more

Pickup a part last week from theses guys come to find out from the dealership preforming the repair advise me the item can not be used have to buy it new.... So I called and advise Langston that the part was defective...they Charge me a restocking fee of 40 bucks on a part I can't used.... Bad business... Pls stay away who does that... My wife and I approached your organization about 2 years ago regarding an engine replacement and you provided us with an accurate estimate of the repairs as well as a timeline. The entire staff was extremely professional and took the time to listen to our concerns. We have been extremely satisfied with the repairs and it not only solved our immediate problem but it also continues to be the vehicle we rely on the most in our family. The attention to detail and the great service you provided made us feel that you cared about our business but more importantly you cared about developing a long-term relationship with us. Now a couple of years later we found ourselves in need of a transmission for one of our other cars, the family BMW. We first went to the BMW dealership and they were not very helpful in providing an appropriate solution for us. He not only told me that he would be able to provide me with a quick resolution but he exceeded our expectations. He was in contact with me and he provided daily updates as well. Now without asking, he also looked for alternative solutions that could possible reduce the cost of repairs. Behavior like this is not typical of a retail merchants but greatly appreciated. We deal in a global environment that challenges all of us in every aspect of life and business. So it would be expected that either quality or customer service will be scarified in order to remain competitive. However, you have proven to me that I don't have to be a big wholesaler or business entity or have connections in order to receive great customer service and service that you stand behind. Mr. Morris Pryor provided me with a price for the repairs and a date of completion which he honored. Now, if that wasn't enough when I went to pick up my vehicle it was on a Friday afternoon and I was stuck in traffic which delayed my arrival. Mr. Pryor stayed an extra 2 hours after the facility closed waiting for me. He never complained and on the contrary he was courteous the entire time. Your organization has been around since 1925 and I can see why you offer great prices, quality service, professional staff and you surpass the competition in every way.
