I have been a contact wearer for 40 years and have never encountered the issue I had here. It was my first time going here, as I had moved to Sandusky last year. I went in for my exam. I found the doctor very personable. Had the appointment and he sent me away with my script. I opted not to purchase my contacts or glasses in the office as the prices were well over double the cost of other locations. And I didn't think there would be an issue with my prescription. I ordered a years supploy of contacts from Costco and the second I put them in I knew that my left contact prescription was not strong enough. I called the office and she suggested I come in for a recheck. When I did she said I didn't have an appointment (which I most certainly made). However, they were great about working me in and the doctor checked my eyes again and agreed that yes I woudl do better having my left contact stronger. However, I was told that because I didn't order from there there was nothing they could do to help me to rectify my contact situation. I had used 1 contact out of a box of 24. I told them that I had never had an issue with a prescription before and that previously every other optician had provded me with trial contacts before ordering. Essentially I was just told I was out of luck because I didn't order from them. My prescription wasn't right- which I get that it isn't an exact science- but that is why samples should always be the norm with a new patient. And they did nothing to fix the $120 mistake. Thankfully Costco was great and did. I will never return and would not recommend this office.

When I called back no one answered because my number came up. So I called from my husbands phone and magically they answered. Supposedly they are being ordered. I asked if my husbands frames were in. Supposedly they just came in this morning that's why he didn't receive a text message. Do not waste your time coming here. The same thing happened to my daughter six months ago with her frames. There are many other places to find to go to. This place does not deserve any business.

Dr. Thomas was very kind and gave me a referral. First visit to Cleveland Clinic, they took me off of all the meds and said that my eye virus was not active. It was just dry eye! All those weeks of doctoring with Dr. Thomas and my virus was never active. I should have known when the doctor was HAND drawing my virus when the Cleveland Clinic was taking detailed pictures. The HAND drawing should have been my sign. All that money and they don't even have the right equipment. I tried to call Dr. Thomas just to let her know that my virus was not active and she didn't even take the time to call me back. I called the accounting office asking if they could give me a discount because they didn't do ANYTHING for me, they said NO, the bill stands. Ridiculous, they could of gave me some kind of discount. Go directly to Cleveland Clinic, they are professional! I only had 2 appointments which was much cheaper than what I spent at Parschauer Eye Center.

I arrived for my appointment, Carrie informed me I was 10 minutes late...very rudely in front of the other SVS staff and all the customers in the showroom. We proceeded to the exam room where I once again apologized for being late and once again she demoralized me and didn't accept my apology. Yes in front of SVS employees. Note... I live 40 minutes away from SVS vision and also this visit was for a MISTAKE in the prescription from SVS vision!
