Performax really does care about you! I turned to Performax for help recovering from total hip replacement surgery in January '18 and worked with Jessica (co-owner). Jessica and Armand (co-owners who are brother/sister) are knowledgeable, personable, and run a great place which makes recovery much more pleasant. They are very warm, fun people who are attentive to your needs that genuinely want to see you get better. They really do care! Performax's new place on Bayshore road is a clean, comfortable, bright, and spacious facility with many tables and employees to help you. I worked with Jessica for several months. Jessica is great at what she does! She was dedicated to me and my recovery and taught me the proper stretching techniques for a faster recovery. Their staff is great too. Dave is an excellent therapist and Nick was so helpful, always there with helping hands. I would highly recommend Performax to anyone needing physical therapy. I am a runner with psoriatic arthritis and I constantly have issues with tightness in my hips. I met Armand and Jessica at several races I ran during the summer. After stretching me out at numerous races, Armand finally convinced me he could help me with my running if I came in. I started going to Performax on a bi-weekly basis at the end of September and almost immediately I noticed a tremendous improvement in my running. I have knocked a minute or more off my pace and have greatly improved my stamina. I went from not being able to run more than two miles without any walking to not walking at all in my last 20 runs, a few of which were up to 5.5 hilly miles. After two major back surgeries in two months I was finally given clearance for physical therapy. I had a few recommendations and personal knowledge of several therapy centers in my area. After visiting the locations I decided on Performax. Why? They stood head and shoulders above the rest. First of all the place was spotless, modern and the staff professional. A specific program was established for my condition and after a few months, I am showing remarkable progress thanks to Armand and his staff. This group of therapists are the greatest in the World 2 years ago I left the hospital and rehab center after 4 months I could not walk at all I came in a wheelchair... I was down and out and did not want to do anything to help my self.... well from the minute I rolled in there with my wheel chair I felt part of a family... Dave is the man today I am walking and doing everything with an occasional use of a cane.. because of Dave... Armand &Jessie are amazing owners everything they do is patient oriented eg :Halloween party, Christmas Party an annual fund raising softball tourney... Cut corners when it came to my treatment. My body is beat up as an athlete but with me it was in and out as fast as possible never once graston scrapped me (even when I asked) or gave me serious attention when I came through the door.
