I am not sure if you are aware but Turks are CRAAAAAZY about breakfast. They love their çay (tea) and kahve (coffee), eat amazing boards with a variety of cheese, olives and more. But when lazy, just a small börek (filo pastry) or simit (sesame bagel) would do it.
Peri Café is quite hidden. If my local friend haven't recommended I wouldn't have found it. Place is adorable, also known as Peri Kahvaltı. Once you walk up the stairs you will see a small kitchen where they prepare the food, and a bunch of tables with blankets and chairs through the steps. It's a perfect place to eat breakfast outside and enjoy the morning sun.
They have menus in English and Turkish, which really makes it easy since the staff can't speak both languages.
Since that was my last Turkish breakfast I dig deeper and ordered Kahvaltı Tabağı and a Pişi (a deep fried bread) portion. My combo was great, the white cheese with olive oil was my favorite. I also recommend you order honey and cream, Turkish honey is very nice. Total price of my meal was 23 Turkish Lira. read more
