They did not meet their stated completion date and we had to move in with construction going on for another couple of months! The project start date was delayed two months as well. Some of their work was done well but other things were not, and we requested them to be corrected when significant. When they were nearly finished, they started balking at correcting errors and demanding more money, and that is when we stopped the project with a few tasks left uncompleted. At times they behaved professionally and polite and other times they would act insulted and angry with our requests for corrections or additions ignored.

I even would come back and look at it to admire it in the 2 months it took for the cabinets to come in. We did not get our cabinets there. We wanted to initially but they just seemed asleep at the wheel and like they didn't care whether we went with them or not and didn't help us to make decisions out of indifference. But whatever. We loved the marble slab and they would fabricate it, install it, etc., so fine. When I went to check out the slab a few days before they were to come--we went to see how they had laid out the template on the **2 slabs** we had picked and.......there was only one--and it was NOT the same slab we had picked and had been waiting all this time for. A worker confessed they had given the slabs to someone else and swapped out the slabs for a different lot. This lot, and the slots were darker and had lots of brown in it, which we did NOT want and we intentionally--as I said--had selected the slabs we wanted for the exact color of THOSE slabs. We had selected all the colors of the kitchen based on what we had selected. We picked the cabinets based on it, the backsplash, the wall color, the shelving, the flooring. The slab we wanted was shimmering luminescent sparkling white with streaks of green and blue-grey. This slab was opaque and none of the green or blue. The disdainful women sneered and said it was the exact slab/lot we had bought. I had photos of the original slab and showed them it was different. They lied to our faces and said with a shrug "Don't know what to tell you. You can pick something else but it'll be 12 weeks before we'd be able to schedule. " My Mom is 95 years old--back then she was 92--literally days before Thanksgiving, and we could not have plywood countertops for Thanksgiving and for 3 months subsequently. Plus, there was no comparable stone in their yard to what we had selected, so even if we decided to wait....they had no stone like the one we DID pick out. I started writing this review 3 years ago when this all happened and was so heartbroken I couldn't finish. Three years later....it still is awful and a massive disappointment. My Mom was going for her dream kitchen this late in life, and these ugly white and brown slabs that were NOT the slabs we picked have not improved. I wonder to this day who came along with a wad of money and convinced "Quality" Granite to give them OUR slab. Incredibly sad and kind of sickening. I am embarrassed when people pretend to like the countertops because they're not the magical sparkling counters my Mom fell in love with. My experience was nothing like any of the other reviews because I found the experience greatly disappointing and a waste of time and money. Jesse's lack of communication, motivation and organization led to my decision not to pursue the building of the custom home with OIC and to not trust the design documents to be accurate and complete, making this entire design experience a waste of time and money. Throughout the experience Jesse continued to demonstrate a lack of accountability or responsibility, letting me know everyone else was at fault including the city the lot is in, Heather an employee of OIC and myself but not Jesse. As Jesse stated he and his contractor made minor mistakes with their submission to the planning board like wrong year, wrong town name, whether they were using explosives or not, and removing the rain garden from the plan that was requested by me and something I wanted to have. Jesse's decisions to make changes to my requirements and not ask me but inform me or as he put it, "meant to tell me" made me mistrust what else he "meant to tell me but forgot" and the fact that I received an additional request to increase the budget significantly left me questioning if anything he stated was accurate or believable.

The weather was looking better for the day before scheduled delivery and I asked if they could deliver a day early. They did. Loam was delivered within 3 hrs! It gets even better. The truck driver maneuvered a VERY large truck around the trees, did a few tight turns and dumped the dirt in the garden bed. There was minimal work to uncover some of the rock wall and get all the loam contained where needed. The quality of the loam was top notch and the 20% composted material was black and rich. This impressed others in the area and they will use Cameron's for their future business. I cannot say enough about the service that I received.
