I wanted a second opinion and asked my dentist to send my records to Dr. Silver. On my first visit for a consultation, I was made to feel very comfortable by his front desk receptionist, Christine. (Actually Christine is a lot more than a receptionist. She is involved in every aspect of the office. SHE REALLY KEEPS IT RUNNING SMOOTHLY). Anyway, I waited less than 5 minutes before I saw the doctor. When I explained my problem, he gave me several possible options but what was viable naturally, couldn't be determined until after my exam and x-rays. Dr. Silver is amazing. His office is tastefully decorated and immaculate, as are the exam rooms. Love the coffee table books. The procedure was very involved and I needed an extraction and implant. Throughout the very involved process which took many visits, Dr. Silver kept me informed every step of the way. He made sure I was comfortable and his tecnicians are wonderful. This is a one doctor practice, which I prefer. You get to know the doctor and staff on a one on one basis. Dr. Silver has a very dry sense of humor which adds to the experience. I never thought that I would call going to a dental specialist an "experience" but that's how relaxed and comfortable this office makes you feel. Marianne, his tech is wonderful. The entire practice is so comfort oriented, that you almost forget you're at a dentist. Dr. Silver is also available for emergencies on Saturdays. Since I'm fortunate that I have no cavities, I go for regular cleanings and evaluations to keep me cavity free.

Why did they waste my time getting all my information, and going through all the rest of the 10 minute phone call when I clearly stated it was an urgent need at the beginning of the call. When I questioned the woman on the phone about this and asked if there was any way to get me in sooner, she responded lackadaisically that was the only appointment she had available, but she could add me to the list if she had any cancellations. I have found that some Doctors and Dentists don't think they're a business that needs to worry about customer service anymore; luckily they're listed on Yelp and I'm able to share my experiences with other. My troubles began with some botched cosmetic dentistry by my regular dentist, which lead to infection in my jawbone that would ultimately require the removal of 4 front teeth, bone grafting, 2 dental implants and placement of a bridge where my 4 teeth had been. I had consultations with 3 of the top periodontists in the area prior to having all this work done. I selected Dr. Kazemi because he has such great credentials and I found him to be a very caring professional. He showed genuine concern for my situation, and his calm and caring demeanor put me at ease. I experienced no pain during this extensive work and great follow up care too from him and the office staff to make sure my recovery was going well. I recently need another tooth extraction, bone grafting, and implant. I chose Dr. Kazemi again even though he was not an "in network" periodontist and I knew I was going to get very little, if any, reimbursement from my dental insurance provider. Once again, I received excellent care from Dr. Kazemi and his staff. What an excellent periodontist and great staff! Highly recommended!!!

During the same phone call, I specifically asked the receptionist to confirm that both my wife and I were still scheduled for 10:00 AM on June 27, because I wanted to make sure we weren't accidentally booked on different dates. The receptionist clearly confirmed that both appointments were at 10:00 AM. However, when we arrived today, I was called in for my cleaning first. After I finished, I noticed my wife was still sitting in the waiting room. When I asked why she hadn't been called, the front desk told us that she wasn't scheduled for today at all and that her appointment was supposedly next month. We were completely confused because we showed them the appointment confirmation text message, which clearly stated June 27 at 10:00 AM. Even after seeing the confirmation, the receptionist simply said they didn't know why it happened. This is extremely unprofessional. It appears that this office changed my wife's appointment without notifying us. This isn't even the first time they've tried to change our appointment--they had previously called asking to reschedule, but we declined. Somehow, despite that, they still ended up separating our appointments without our knowledge. We planned our schedules around these appointments and booked them six months in advance, only to have one of them changed without any notice. This shows a serious lack of organization and respect for patients' time. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dental office.
