After years of neglect and inspite of never having had a cavity, my teeth started to fail. After losing three, with more loosening daily, I knew I wanted implants and decided on Clear Choice Mt Laurel. The initial consultation was very thorough and I was able to meet what would become my care team. Seeing the CT scan, we all felt it best to pull the remaining teeth, deal with any infections, get bone graphs, and full upper and lower implants. I felt absolutely no pressure to go with any specific option (3 were available). At that same visit, I arranged financing, chose my teeth color and scheduled surgery for three weeks out. Due to increasing pain levels I requested that surgery be moved up a week and they were able to accommodate me. Day of surgery I was very nervous and they took the time to ensure I was ok before starting. Went out like a light from the anesthesia and woke up pleasantly numb. I was taken to a recovery room where I promptly fell asleep once again. Before I knew it, I was woken up to have my healer implants put in (yes, I walked out with a full set of teeth). Post surgery, day one the swelling started, and then the bruising but I had no pain other than the cuts at the corners of my mouth. I am now 8 days post surgery. No more swelling, just a small bruise on my chin and I can smile again. The implants did take getting used to as my bite is now corrected, but even that is a minor inconvenience. What can improve? Mainly, doctors who care about their patients and who listen to them. I have used the Mount Laurel ClearChoice before and after a transfer of ownership. After the ownership transfer, the quality has definitely tanked. I cannot recommend. read more

From the very beginning I knew something was wrong with this company. I hadn't even walked through their front door for the complementary screening appointment when they were bringing up payment and financing for the procedure. That is a red flag especially when they let me know with the multitude of text messages there is a $50 fee if I don't show for my appointment. Honestly, you can improve everything in this place from the miserable personality at the desk and the two hour wait in the lobby. My husband & I went in for a free consultation I got a loan for 60,000 my husband couldn't get a loan , I told them I wouldn't get my teeth done if he (hubby) couldn't get his done because that's something we wanted to do together, we both wanted top & bottom full set implants at 52,000 each , so they came up with a plan to split my 60,000 with my husband if he and I can come up with 6,000 they can do 33,000 each of us for our temporary implants so we paid the 6,000 via credit cards that day on 10/28/24 and we made our surgery date for 12/2/24 , well my husband couldn't get medical clearance for surgery due to his heart problems & underlined health issues but i got cleared his last visit was trying to get clearance with a cardiologist on 11/25/24,he also refused to clear him for the surgery, so that's when we decided to call clear choice and cancel the surgery,at first they kept trying to get us to do the surgery, then they started telling me I had to pay, next thing I know today I get a call from the loan company saying they only gave them 49,000 back of the 60,000 loan. Also they never returned the 6,000 back to the credit card we paid them. These ppl are scammers all they want is your money , I've never heard of any doctors office ,dentist office plastic surgeon etc that dont accept no kind of insurance that should of been a red flag 2me too, but you live & learn . I'm getting a attorney bcuz I'm not paying no 11,000 loan to a company for a surgery I never got, I've already contacted my credit card company & needless to say clear choice haven't heard the last of me.. read more

tried to overcharge me 20k more then what was being quoted at consultation and with competition. I set my own consultation through their site, had sales person meet and quote me a price. after several month of saving to get to the quoted amount, I re contacted the office now to find out pricing goalpost changed and more money needed. I'm told by a sales rep now, the person who I met at consulration no longer works there and 20k more is what's the cost has always been. this is shady business practices filled with 3rd party sale commission fees to some pay someone salary that does nothing more then try to close deals. instead met with a private office and had the same work being done for almost half the cost. Clearchoice is just taking advantage of desperate people trying to get medical help at a reasonable cost. over advertising, over priced and overrated read more

1/9/2023 I took my elder father to Clear Choice for a 'free consultation' for oral implants. 1) We had an appointment time, but no one even spoke to us until I complained that we'd been waiting over an hour (after the appointment time). Strike One. 2) After repeatedly explaining that it wasn't their fault we waited so long, they have no control over scheduling (it's all done by 'the service'), the first person to speak to us began to lead us on a tour of 'their state of the art facility'. When we advised that we neither needed nor wanted a tour of the entire facility (c'mon, my dad's nearly 90, he doesn't need to be walking around and around in circles!), the woman said, somewhat snarkily, "this is how we do things". Strike Two. 3) They performed a 3D CT scan of my father's maxilla & mandible - but the woman didn't know how to properly position the machine and my father ended up with a bruised shoulder! Strike Three. 4) When we finally got to speak to someone about the process, it turns out that she was a sales/scheduling person, not the doctor. Cue the half hour video presentation. Strike Four. 5) The doctor was pleasant enough and answered most of our questions. 6) The cost is exorbitant (it's an unregulated industry, after all). They don't accept ANY insurance - it's cash on the barrel. $13,000 for dental implants for 3 teeth (over $4300 per tooth???) 7) It was a slick, high-pressure sales presentation, reminiscent of the timeshare sales models of the 1980s. Strike Five. In spite of my suggestion that dad take the information home & review before deciding? They convinced him to put $1,000 down immediately with the balance of $12,000 due at his first appointment - which they scheduled 2 business days later! Barely time to digest all the information they threw at him! BUT, if he didn't take that appointment? It would be months before the next available appointment. (Again, I'm not a fan of high-pressure tactics!) When we arrived home, dad talked to my brothers & me, then changed his mind about moving forward with Clear Choice. He called and cancelled the appointment early the next morning, more than 24 hours in advance of the procedure. During the consultation, dad clearly expressed, several times, that he wanted an "instant fix" - something which would restore not only his cosmetic appearance, but which would improve his ability to eat. (A temporary bridge would have done that.) Clear Choice offered instead a 6-10 month process - not the 'in & out' that their commercials imply. He left their offices worse off than when he walked in - because they bilked an elderly man out of $1,000! He cancelled the appointment more than 24 hours in advance, requesting a refund of his $1,000 as he intended to go elsewhere. After all, the consult is clearly advertised as FREE & the $1,000 was a down payment for procedures which he never had performed. It's impossible to reach them by phone as it goes directly to voicemail. The telephone number listed on their website goes to a 'scheduling service' - it's not direct to the office. No one has responded to any of the 3 voicemails I've left. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE FOLK! THEY'RE SLICK LIKE TIMESHARE FOLK!! UPDATE: I somehow posted this review incorrectly in the past. My father received a refund of his down payment approximately 93 days after he was conned into making it. I think it important to note that the business never responded to my voicemails. The scheduling secretary called me in February to reschedule my father's procedure (??), telling me that her records reflected that he'd called to 'postpone' the procedure (??). Poor woman had to listen to me rant & rave - but finally agreed to process a refund to my father "as soon as we can." The refund came almost a month later. read more

i have an unresolved problem with my.occlusion that no dentist seems to be able to resolve. i sought the consult of clearchoice in desparation. i was not aware that i would have to get my bone ground down to get the full lower implant and backed out once i found out that very day. i had already paid a 1,000.00 deposit that very day in anticipation bc they said that is the only way to save a spot for any time soon and for the exam. i assumed i would get a chance to talk to the dr about specifics during the exam, but, she came in at the end of the dental assistant taking my health history, taking molds and taking x-rays (forever). when the dr came in she looked in my mouth for a few minutes and virtually said you have teeth. by the time i got home i had decided not to have the procedure. they had said the 1,000.00 would go towards the procedure i had planned but it was for the exam...1,000.00 exam a big issue going towards thousands for the procedure but not as an out and out cost especially with some offices offering those services to potential patients as part of their draw. anyway, when i went in for the x-rays and molds i was expecting it to be on a dvd or some other capture media. the assistant handed me an envelope with an inferior mold of my teeth and paper images of my teeth...they had not given me any of that 1,000.00 back. i at least expected to have modern day access to my information. the assistant had left the desk after handing me the envelope so i asked the receptionist to speak to her. she said she was busy so i texted the assistant. when she finally came out, she came out with a man behind her. i did not notice the man and proceeded to ask her why i had the paper pictures of the x-rays and not a media transfer of some kind. she said their equipment is not compatible with anybody elses. i let her know that she had not told me that when we were emailing and i was on my way towards the door and looking for the exit access...when..the man i had not noticed before now had taken the assistants spot standing behind the desk and he bolted out instructions for how to get out of the door....i am a little lady and i was not loud...what i can't ask questions when you rob me of one thousand dollars? soo...don't believe all that sugar and spice and grinning...it is just to pick your pocket. read more

Went here for a quote already had 2 teeth pulled just needed the implants and caps. They give you a tour of the facility and have you watch a video. Then comes the price quote. My mouth dropped! And they want all the money upfront before they do any of the work. Stay away and shop around I have found a place for less then half with my insurance and they have been happy and you pay as you go as each procedure is done. read more

Both my husband had implants, but not the full mouth. Hubby got the tops, I did my bottoms. we both feel satisfied with the results. I did get overwhelmed by the number of visits, but I wanted the best. I can eat my food much better and don't have sore gums like when my dentures would slip. As an African American woman, many of the complaints sounded as if they resentful of giving the good doctor $50,000. read more

I can't express enough how disappointed I am with choosing this company to get three dental implants. I have had a dental implant before at a local doctor. Due to their advertisement on TV I thought their process might be easier and more efficient. Boy was I wrong. Don't believe that you're going to go in there and walk out with new teeth. And unless you have no teeth in your entire mouth you will never get this done in one day and I am still skeptical even then if they could do it. It's hard to get them to call you back they take all your money upfront and good luck getting a decent appointment. And when you do get an appointment good luck not sitting out there for two or three hours waiting for your surgery. This process has been a total nightmare for me and it's not getting any better. I made my purchase in February 2019. I took out a five-year 401(k) loan and then use the rest with care credit. This is an expensive agonizing process. This company does not make it easy on you. Whenever I've called I have to call back or email or text or fax and be very persistent to get a telephone call back with a scheduling of an appointment. When you work and someone tells you that they only have appointments from noon to two that's not acceptable. I still need impressions I still need my teeth made and after I do all of that I get to go back and have the third post put in wait another four months have impressions and that tooth made and go in again. I cannot tell you how much I'm dreading this process. They will never get my business again and I will be going to a regular dentist Who performs this procedure. If you listen to their ad they make it sound like they do everything there. It's not true my teeth are being made somewhere offsite. Their television ads are extremely misleading and should be changed to reflect the actual process. I gave 3 stars because I believe the doctors are competent. Most of the staff are very pleasant, but no one is on the same page. And they should be contacting me to schedule appointments and instead I have to hunt them down. The initial consult made me feel like I was in great hands. Besides my home and car this is the most expensive purchase I ever made. Disappointed does not say enough to describe how I feel about my experience so far. During my treatment I was called "honey" continuously, do they not even know their patient's names? Was I in a diner? I was woken up from anesthesia because my oxygen levels. After testing I found nothing wrong with my breathing and was told they either blocked my airway or gave me too much medicine. I paid for anesthesia and woke up to getting novacaine shots that really hurt. So I get my first set of temporary teeth 5 months ago, have had 2 appointments cancelled because they have no staff. Have seen one Dr. for 2 minutes. My 2 follow up appointments were handled by a girl who was nice enough but no where near the level of professionalism I anticipated. On my 1st appointment the first thing she said was "boy I didn't feel like coming to work today". They go through staff like I go through a roll of paper towel. I still have work to be done so I am hesitant about posting this. But here goes, I need to let the public know. I am confident my implants will look great but the experience has been awful. read more

so where do I start, you see the infomercials about this place and hear testimonials from people dealing with dental issues. so I make an appointment and go in.. office is very nice in a big professional building with other businesses, I wasn't impressed by the receptionist as her professionalism left a bit to be desired. so anyway, as I fill out the paperwork I see that THEY DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE! that should have been my clue to leave but I continue, as I thought it might have been a mistake or at least I was in disbelief but anyway moving on, I meet the consultant who took a 3D image of my mouth and then I met with the doctor and consultant together. so after all was said and done they said that it would cost me 60K!!! I'm like you're kidding me right? I asked why they did not accept insurance and the response was.. that's just policy. no my question is... WHO IN THE HECK JUST HAS 60K laying around??? I have never been to a dentist cosmetic or other whom did not accept insurance. for that reason I feel Clear Choice Mount Laurel NJ, is very misleading.... DO NOT LISTEN TO THE COMMERCIALS AND IF YOU DO, NOTICE THEY NEVER MENTION IN IT THAT THEY DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE. with all that being said, I went to another well known dental practice and got the SAME EXACT IMPLANTS I was to get at Clear Choice, and the total cost was 29K and my insurance covered 16K of the cost and guess what.. THEY TAKE PAYMENTS!! unlike Clear Choice. so unless you want to take money from your retirement like they wanted me to do and short yourself when it's time to retire, shop around please!! there are many many very good dental practices THAT ACCEPT INSURANCE and gives you the exact end result of clear choice. So--we all get older, and yes, #22 broke in half on a Friday night reminded me of my age and that my body is wearing out. Scheduled an emergency consult with my dentist which confirmed what I already knew, the tooth has to be extracted and an implant installed. Similar to the other reviewer, I was moderately impressed with the website, but in retrospect--it is what they don't tell you. They do not accept any insurance at all. Now, for the a good percentage of Americans, probably not a problem as dental insurance doesn't typically cover implants. But--they do cover extractions. They do cover the crown that will be required. Clear Choice, in choosing not to build relationships with insurance companies sent me a clear message. It is about the revenue at this place, not about patient care--it is simply a specialty sales operation. More turn offs. My appointment was 7:45. Was ushered back to the sales suite at 8:05 AM. They asked me for permission to video tape my session for training. I refused. In the interim I spoke to a woman in the waiting room who started suggesting I go to Penn Dental Clinic. She also said she was totally dissatisfied with the service offered. This was unsolicited--she just said, I regret coming here......back to my story. You are ushered back for a warm up session (again it is like you are buying a luxury car), plush sofa, yak-yak talk..........yes, I felt the sales representatives hand in my wallet immediately. I was upfront and gave immediate feedback that I expect dental practices to have a relationship with insurance companies. Told her I was uncomfortable--asked what the hand-grenade price was for implants, and she said--well the cost of an implant is $5,000.00. I almost laughed in her face.
