Overall good clean place. Denny's style menu. This was our first time at this place. Parking is plenty. Location is awesome. Very close to the freeway 84. There is a bakery as well. Food was hot when served. I only wish it was a little faster in taking order and serving the food. But it could very well have been my perception after 13 hour road trip. :) read more

i was staying at the hotel. The hotel gives 10percent off at the perkins. So i decided to come in for a order to go. First thing i noticed. Was how it was really clean. The guy who came up to greet me was extremely nice. They had a promo menu for the smokehouse. It looked soon good. The regular menu does have a Dennys look to it. But their food look way better. But i was craving chicken strip a and fries. My total was 7 dollars and change. Easy access and lots of room for large families. read more

Wow, this Perkins has really upped their game. I was in on a Thursday around lunch time and had the absolute best California Benedict I've ever had. Everything was perfect which is a lot to ask for in a Benedict. I usually come into this place a few times a year when I'm in town to meet up with family and the quality and service has really changed. Keep up the great work guys!! read more

Went here this morning. Stood 15 minutes waiting to be seated. Once our food finally arrived, (30ish minutes) it was was incorrect for three of the four of us. Service was subpar, our food was served on dirty dishes. Disgusting experience all around. We won't be back! read more

Waited for about 15' and while we were brought water we never had our order taken. I waited a while after our water was delivered and then started my stopwatch. After another 5' we said "screw it" and settled for Jack-In-The-Box. It was 9PM, nearly empty, with less than two tables per waitresses. read more

This is a Perkins. What more need be said? If you've never been to one think of a better version of Denny's. More or less the same menu but with a bit better flavors and a bit bigger portions. Service is average and cook times are pretty consistently on the edge of acceptable. read more

Boo service poor. Didn't bring me correct honey mustard burger I must say, it is Perkins. As a child my mother band the family from going there after my sister, my father and I got in a spit wad/ straw fight while dining at a Perkins. That said I have always had this secret desire to go there just to spite my mother. :) The food was as normal sub-par. This Perkins however had glacier slow service service. I think the waitress must have been new because after taking our order she came back out two time to confirm what we had just ordered. On top of this we had someone from the kitchen ask for clarification on a dish. After all that you would expect the order to be perfect, no. I ordered a honey mustard chicken burger. Either they made it wrong or there is no actual honey mustard on the burger. i ended up asking for a side of honey mustard and putting it on myself. It was a pretty plain burger. As I was with other and did not pick the place to dine, I would highly recommend checking out another establishment before stopping here. Unless you are just getting some pie. The pie is good. The rest not so much. If you do find yourself in this Perkins I recommend a round of spit wads, it might make it more enjoyable. read more

This place was ok, it was right next to the hotel we were staying at, so it was convenient for us. We arrived late at the hotel and were a little hungry, stopped in for a quick bite. Hubby and I ordered the appetizer sampler and my daughter ordered a kids breakfast plate. The food was good, nice and hot. This place is similar to a Denny's. Our waitress was not the best, she never once refilled my iced tea nor brought me the extra glass of ice I had asked for. This restaurant and bakery are attached to the Best Western where we stayed. We received 10% off as hotel guests. We were served rapidly and pleasantly. I was even given a special gluten free menu. The beef is excellent, the mashed potatoes are real potatoes, the dinner roll, my partner told me, was soft and delicious. There is a special if you want to add a dessert and the bakery section is full of delectable pies, cookies, muffins. Bravo people. Great restaurant! read more

Perkins is one of my favorite places to eat in Burley, Idaho. The menu has a huge selection from breakfast to dinner depending on your appetite or mood. I LOVE the Southwest Avocado salad. We were on vacation and staying in the Best Western which is built next to this Restaurant. We had been driving all day and didn't feel like driving anymore and so we walked through the lobby into the Perkins. My wife and kids had burgers, I thought meatloaf with a dinner salad sounded good. The salad was good but the meatloaf was horrible. Salty and covered in this dark brown goo that looked like motor oil but was supposed to be gravy. I could only handle two bites of the meatloaf. About 10-15 minutes into dinner (I decided not to eat anymore but waited for the family to finish), I needed to get out of there. I promptly ran to the bathroom and proceeded to be sick for the next several hours. I'm pretty sure it was the salad... If I'm ever near a Perkins again, I'll go somewhere else. read more

We came to Perkins tonight for dinner my husband and myself. We were greeted great and the hostess was very nice. However. The server named Sara, who I was informed later was about 1 week in, wasn't very attentive to us as well as others around us. I understand as a new job you are very overwhelmed and sometimes don't know everything. So someone like a trainer or a manager needed to be with her to help her with this. We didn't get our drinks until about 20-25 minutes into our visit sitting there and we ordered an appetizer which she misunderstood and didn't ever give it to us. Then my husband inspected his entree and found that his Lettuce on the kicken chicken sandwich he ordered had a rotted piece of Lettuce on it. When the shift super or manager what ever Brody is came by and we brought it to his attention he did not care whatsoever to make the experience better. All in all we did pay for our meal. With an up charge of some sort on our ticket. I didn't question it. I just paid it and didn't want to be there anymore. I don't know how you can make anyone feel so unwelcome in an establishment but they sure did the best they could to make it happen. read more

Kassandra was our waitress. We ordered two salads southwestern avocado and the Cobb salad. Both were good. However my husband ordered no tomatoes. The Cobb cake with tomato's so either kassandra didn't her job or the cook didn't do his. Just a few minutes after we received our salads kassandra drops off the check with not so much as a "anything else you need?" Never returning to fill our glasses. I am not writing this review about the restaurant service. I am a local in the area and have gone to Perkins many times and have nothing bad to say about the service the people at Perkins are real nice and always aim to please their customers. This review is about their pies. For my husbands birthday I decided to try their pies instead of getting a cake and it was the worst mistake I ever made . My husband really likes peanut butter so I thought I would get their Peanut butter silk pie with peanut butter cups on top and it is nothing like they describe it at all. In fact, it is a coconut cream pie with Peanut Butter Cups on top and my husband does not like coconut at all. No peanut butter at all except for the peanut butter cups and that is it. The crust is awful, very thick and hard. I also purchased a country apple pie and their was more crust then apple filling and it was also very thick and hard. If you are looking for good pies for a special occasion I would recommend buying them elsewhere. read more

In fact, why do these restaurants serve the same bland junk food over and over and continue to stay in business? How about something healthy and nutritious for a change. Non-GMO and organic? When bill arrived, I noticed I was charged for a senior steak so brought this to the waitress' attention and was told the dollar would be taken off at the cash stand but it wasn't.
