I split a sausage and meatball sandwich with my wife; the sausage was little chunks like on a pizza topping (still tasted fine) and meatballs seemed like standard Sysco. Papa Kelseys has a couple good things going for it and thats about it. They are locally owned and they make a few things from scratch like the bread, the cinnamon rolls and cheesecake. The customer service is rough. If you get lucky and get one of the owners its fine but anyone else is terrible. They stroll over to the counter at their leisure and when they get there they have an attitude about anything that isnt a plain and simple order. My sister is on a restricted diet and cannot eat bread but still wanted to eat with family that was in town visiting. It was like the world was going to end and the looks from the employee were unacceptable. When it arrived it was literally 3 small pieces of meat and a half slice of melted cheese in a paper container. Papa Kelseys needs to work harder on customer service and look at the current food trends and diet changes that are taking over the food scene in cities with more competition. read more

Got my son a personal pan pizza since we had ate somewhere that he didn't like and a pizza is always a hit with him. The pizza was cold and looked like a cheap pizza you'd get for a dollar in the frozen aisle. It was old and obviously has been sitting. Which is sad because I could have got a large pizza from Little Ceasers and it would have been better quality for the same price. We were planning a pizza night and ordering from them but if they can't even take pride in their small orders. I'm not spending $60 for a big order. read more

Food is always very good. But tonight the customer service was not. I made an online order which for some reason did not get check according to the teen at the register. Which is understandable maybe they don't get many online orders. My husband went to pick it up and we did have a confirmation email with a time it would be ready. Next they needed to ask over and over plus more times and 2 different people if he was picking up the correct order. I'm sure my husband knows my name and his last name. The lady bringing it out felt the need to not only repeat my name over and over loudly he said and speak to him in Spanish he does speak Spanish but it made it seem like they thought he was doing something wrong. Our teen son was with him as well. So it was very strange and uncomfortable. We have order before and this did not happen when I picked up. Customer service is a big part of a business. Food can be great but if the people working for your business are not it ruins it and customers may not return. Which my husband does not want to order again after this. Who ever made the food was on point with that. We had 3 sandwiches all yummy, a kids pizza and a large pepperoni pizza all were very tasty. read more

Had the new monthly special the curry chicken sub. Extremely flavorful with the sweet from apple and cranberries savory from curry it's a festival of flavor. I would come back again for just this sub. Kids love the Mac and cheese pizza as well. read more

It's time to step up the salads to compete with the twin falls papa Kelsey's. They're food is much better there. Every time I stop here, I have to pick out all of the old lettuce from my salad. Honestly, you sell so much salad at lunch, how is it not fresh? Twin falls has huge salads and they add mozzarella cheese to it and it's fantastic food. Someone from the Burley store, please visit the twin falls store and take notes on how they do it!! The sandwiches are always great I must say. The food is very good. But nobody wears a mask nobody wears gloves I asked an employee why no mask and she said management said we didn't have to. I get up to Burley a few times each year and every time I make sure I get a meal at Papa Kelsey's. You might not expect a lot of culinary creativity in Burley, but this place proves you wrong! Everything on the menu is great, but I'm partial to the sandwiches. You also get monthly specials that you won't see at any other location. If you are just passing through do NOT stop at the mega-chain joints near the freeway. Drive 5 minutes into town to eat at PK's. You will be glad you did. read more

This is my favorite place to eat in Burley. Their sandwiches come on this amazing homemade bread! Always good, always fresh. It gets busy at lunch time so we make sure to call in our order ahead of time, to avoid the wait. The only reason I only gave them 4 stars is because when you come in the evening, the prices are extremely high. Their lunch specials are perfect though! Love the ham and cheese sandwich.
