Dr Perlis and her team are really nice and experienced people. From the time I entered the office till after my facial I felt that I was very important to everyone. My facia with Kallee was wonderful and very relaxing and she did not try to push any products on me, which to me is a plus. She told me what my skin needed and how to take care of it and that exfoliation was important. I would go back again as all was a nice experience. read more

When I came in to see Dr. Perlis a year and a half ago I had just retired and was looking forward to doing all the fun stuff that I never had time for when I was working. I really don't like doing this and feel bad about leaving bad review but it looks like the office is being completely disrespectful. I have joined dr Perlis service back in March with my daughter. My daughter had a great results and loves it. Me on other hand, had a horrific experience with side effects off all hormonal therapy which I believe I start having heart issues from it, short of breath, passing out when workout etc.. my skin broke out and developed extreme oilness , destroyed my skin with bumps and large pores and sensitivity. I had to go to dermatologist and spend my time and $ to get it fixed. Still struggling 5 mo since I stopped. Came back to the office for consultation in august , discussed lowering down dose as apparently my dosage was such extreme that I felt like my heart is going to jump out of my chest and every time dr Perlis would tell me , you will get used to it. Literally, my heart is not doing well since then. Heart beats are faster then ever, I am waking up with 130 pulses per minute. So, after my consultation about lowering down dosage I decided not to do it and give my body to recover. Dr Perlis was reaching out to me by text message reminding me to sign forms, so pills can be sent out. Well, I didn't want to continue. 5 days later I am getting a package with all of the pills lower dose, which I didn't sign for and again, did not want to continue. All I want is to recover my body and get back to myself. Btw, almost forgot to mention that I had gained 15 pounds first 3 weeks on hormonal therapy. Still recovering and trying to loose that weight. So, getting charged $310 monthly for stopping my meds back in June. Having consult in Aug and got products without consent. I am still getting charged monthly and after multiple attempts calling spa, was told they can not cancel my membership because billing department has to get in touch with me. Billing department ignored my request, never heard from them until month later charge again I am calling them back and again, for 7 days no response. I asked them to call to discuss, couple times and never got a phone call back. Just 4-5 days later communication through the app. Very short answer, we can't fo anything about it. You are obligated to get charged for 4 months after last dosage in august which again: I have not order, didn't signed my recurring order and never took it! I still have $1,550 in supplies since June which never going to use. So, what can I say? After this experience I am very disappointed with the customer service and treatment of your clients . I was sending you multiple referrals. No more, thank you but I can't refer you to any one anymore after this disappointing experience, with all of my respect to dr Perlis. read more

Calm, relaxing environment with yummy oils being diffused! Today was eucalyptus.... I have struggled with some undesired weight gain. I chose the 28 day HCG diet with the supplied food plan to follow with office support and guidance. Deb and Dr.Perlis are so supportive and understanding through this journey. I can not say enough amazing things about Anne's professionalism, knowledge, and bedside manner. She is absolutely one of a kind in her field, here on the Northshore. Anne has done at her prior med-spa and Perlis Wellness: facials, chemical peels, photo facials, microdermabrasion, and micro-needling on my face. Every experience lovely. After following Anne to Perlis I decided to try Botox with Dr. Perlis vs. returning to my prior Dr. of two years.... Dr. Perlis has the most wonderful bedside manner and listen to all my concerns and worked diligently to achieve the look I desired. I have been coming to Perlis Wellness Center for over 4 years for Botox and fillers. I also drive nearly 50 miles for my appointments. My level of satisfaction is great and my level of trust in Dr. Perlis is the highest. There are lots of places that sell Botox and fillers, but it takes a true knowledge of the facial structure with all of the muscles and the reaction of the face to these injections to obtain the desired results. Plus Dr. Perlis knows the needs of a woman and the results that we desire. I never have any comments asking what I have had done, only that I look great. I have always been very happy with the results and I love the fact that she is conservative in her approach and never tries to oversell product. I just love Dr. Perlis and her staff. Everyone is warm and welcoming. I like that Dr. Perlis takes time to explain things and does not make you feel rushed. I particularly love that she has trained with Dr. William Walsh who I saw back in the 1990s for bio chemical imbalances, and treats with supplements. I purchased a Groupon for my choice of chemical peel or micro dermabrasion several months ago and finally redeemed it yesterday. I was a little hesitant about trying this place because I'd seen a few reviews that were somewhat negative. I am pleased to report that I had a fantastic experience. Pam provided my service. She greeted me when I entered with a smile and the offer of a beverage. I only spent a couple of minutes in the waiting room before she took me to the treatment room. The waiting area is more like that of a spa than a doc office. It is very comfortable and tastefully decorated with nice art, and "spa-type" music was playing. In the treatment room, Pam patiently talked with me about my treatment options. We decided on the glycolic peel. During the treatment, she explained what she was doing and answered my questions about the various products (which smelled great). She used several cleaning and scrubbing products to prep my skin before applying the peel, and afterwards she applied a mask followed by moisturizer (which was applied via a relaxing facial massage) and lip treatment. She was very gentle and did a great job. This felt more like a spa treatment than a doctor's office visit. She even gave me a light shoulder and neck massage while my mask was working. The entire visit took about an hour, which felt right. Today my skin is glowing and it looks and feels better than it has in a long time. I am very happy with the results and I will probably go back for regular treatments even without the discount. read more

I am a frequent user of Botox - and only Botox due to the price point of fillers. Well, this time I agreed to the use of fillers - night and day results! What a huge disservice I was doing to myself by not adding in the use of fillers! Yes, there is a higher price point with the volume injections yet it is worth every penny!! Careful with this one. She is hit or miss and I don't believe she has a true eye for symmetry or attention to detail. She was inconsistent, could be good at times, but not great and she added filler and Botox into my face that was not placed well (didn't look right with my bone structure/lip line) AND gave me Botox that was so uneven I looked like a stroke victim. read more

I saw Dr Perlis for an injectable special she was offering based on a recommendation of a friend. My experience was terrible. I have had success receiving one syringe of filler from other doctors in the past so I was expecting great results at getting three syringes with Dr Perlis. The doctors "New" technique working with the jawline provided no noticeable improvement. I ended up buying a fourth syringe at the doctor's suggestion and had a little swelling that disappeared after a day. A total waste of time and money. I would warn any patient to stay far away from this doctor. If she can not properly administer an injectable filler, I would be wary to trust her medical judgement in other areas. read more

Went for a facial using a discount offer I bought on Groupon. Was surprised to see that the MD overseeing this skin care, liposuction salon was an ob/gyn and not a dermatologist but I guess everyone wants to make some extra money these days! Service was excellent. Instead of the facial I had a microdermabrasion, which my esthetician recommended and which was wonderful. I would go back regularly but am put off by the regular price, which is high. Nice surroundings, skilled employees....but like everything else on the north shore, too expensive. read more
