The desk staff and aestheticians are lovely. But some are afraid of Dr. Terrasse and I can see why. He's rude and standoffish; seems more interested in making you feel dumb for what you have read or even heard from another Dr. -vs- understanding your wants/needs and making a recommendation. Deeply disappointed. I had a confirmed appointment, but when I arrived the office was closed. They did not return my message, so had to call again the next time the office was open. They admitted the appointment 1-hour before me had cancelled and they chose to go home rather than wait for my appointment. Dr. Terrasse is fantastic. He is a perfectionist in how he takes care of you pre, post and during surgery. His incisions are meticulous and his post-op follow-ups go above and beyond for treating the wounds, checking on progress and giving feedback on post-op care. I can't imagine the reviews saying he was rude or dismissive. My experience was so opposite. He is a delight to work with and gives you his utmost attention never feeling rushed and answering all questions. I have used Dr. Terrasse for two procedures after a large weight loss. I scheduled an appointment for a spa facial and Botox. They were 15 min late to take me into my appintment. When I got into the treatment room, the woman said she doesn't do spa facials and I'd be done in 45 minutes. Once I was done with my "medical" facial, they told me the doctor could not inject me with Botox because his surgery ran late and did I want to wait for him for 30 minutes? I paid $225 for 45 min. And I didn't get my Botox done.... Don't waste your time here. read more

I had the best experience at Dr. Terrasse's office. I needed a medical procedure done that I found difficult and embarrassing to discuss with anyone. However, Dr. Terrasse and his staff made me feel extremely comfortable about it and as such, I went forward with the procedure. Unfortunately my voice was not heard here. I felt I was VERY clear with what I wanted. I even went the night before the surgery to show a power point presentation with girls with the nose I wanted. I even asked to let me know if he wasn't comfortable or confident in giving me this nose. I would maybe have other procedures done with Dr Terrasse, but I would defiantly not go here for a nose job. Everyday I wake up and still don't like what I see in the mirror. Every day I regret that I paid for this nose job in cash, (your welcome) before the surgery, with my the money I got from graduation and also my years of saving. Now, I'm still paying off student loans, now planning for a wedding & still hating my nose. I specifically wanted my nose SMALLER, tip LIFTED and not DROOPY. . As you can see, it's still the SAME size & droopy. It's very upsetting when my mom, boyfriend, sister & those who know me best say they can't tell a difference except maybe slightly from the side. I didn't go in for the side I came in for my droopy and larger nose. I came to a breaking point last week after I just got my engagement photos done. Now I'm planning on getting my nose done AGAIN sometime before the wedding because I can't stand the way it looks in photos. His pricing was the same for all other Chicago doctors I saw.. not like I was getting a discount or something for him. I personally think for what I got, I should have paid half the price because I feel like he got half the job done. My girlfriend got hers done a week before mine with Dr Shah, and she looks great. I'm so so sad that I have to again save up for another procedure and very upset that I feel like I threw my money in the trash and also had to take off work to recover last year. The reason I'm MOST upset is I did EVERYTHING on my part. Paid in FULL on TIME. I did what you asked of me, and I feel like I got the crap end of the deal. Jokes on me, you get to live in a mansion in lake forest and I get to still have a huge ugly nose that I thought you were going to fix, not fix 35% of it (simply the side) however it's still crooked regardless. I wish you would have referred me somewhere else or let me know you probably weren't able to give me what I wanted. I would appreciate half of my money back or fix my nose. Thanks. read more

I had a breast reduction done by Dr Terrasse Aug 29 18. From day one, he and his staff has very professional, prompt,attentive, and very courteous. My sugery went great, and so far things are looking and going really well. I have had to call the office/Dr. Terrasse Numerous times with questions and concerns, and each and every time they have been very responsive kind and accommodating. Even on the doctors time off, he responded to me within minutes. I don't know her title, but i think...his nurse Arelia, is just great...She does so much in that office and does it with a smile. Dr. Terrasse evaluated several lesions on my nose to ensure they were not indicative of skin cancer. He also performed outpatient surgery to remove a large but benign mass at the base of my skull. He was very thorough and patient while explaining the procedures at the initial consultation. On the day of the procedure he was attentive to ensure that I experienced a minimum of discomfort. Postoperative instructions were clear and thorough. Dr. Terrasse has a personable and attentive staff who also went out of their way to ensure my comfort. He clearly doesn't want to waste his time doing non surgical procedures. Dr. Terrassee did my eyes twice. The first time I saw him I was quite young but had terrible bags for my age. It was the best thing I ever did. My confidence was back. People stopped telling how tired I looked but how refreshed and young I looked. I was so happy. 15 years later I needed my uppers done. Again, amazing work. I was so nervous I would look fake but he gave me such natural results. Everyone comments and I always refer him. He has done work on so many friends and they are all very happy with the results. I gave this office a low rating because they were very rude. I brought my daughter to them as a referral and I came in with her two children to introduce her to this office. They made us wait 45 minutes before the Dr. would see her. After the wait for so long their receptionist was upset with me because she was afraid that the children would get their furniture duty. The Dr. is very fuzzy when it concerns his furniture, but no apology to us for being late on a procedure that only takes 15 minutes. one hour later I could'nt wait to get out of there. read more
