My acne went full throttle as if I was 16 years old again and I desperately wanted to clear it up. I have struggled with adult acne in the past and have been on Accutane, which temporarily cleared up my skin. Accutane, however has a ton of side effects that include extremely dry skin, anxiety, and depression. I felt every one of those side effects for the 6 months that I was on it and did not want to relive that time in my life. I found that Spark Med Spa had great reviews on yelp and I am so glad I tried them out. Lana and Sasha are amazing!!! During my initial appointment I told them every therapy and regimen I had tried for my skin. They listened and carefully examined my face and discussed all my options. I started my first Laser Genesis treatment in April and received them consistently every 2-3 weeks. My skin has cleared up dramatically and I am so happy I don't have to wear an ounce of foundation on my skin to cover up any blemishes ever again! I've attached pictures for the proof. Once inside, instead of being offered facials, the saleswoman immediately began a sales pitch for treatments costing $500+. When we explained we only wanted facials, she told us "we do not do facials" and kept pushing other services. We eventually agreed to one treatment, but before we could even finish filling out our forms, she abruptly asked for our credit card to process payment in advance. This was alarming--most reputable spas and salons only charge after the service has been completed. My 72-year-old mom and I felt pressured, uncomfortable, and distrusted, so we politely declined, explained to her our concern and left and also shared our experience with the ladies at Eddies Salon. A week later, when I returned to Eddie's for my mom's hair and makeup appointment, we were treated very differently than in the past--cold, unfriendly, no smiles. It was clear they were unhappy with us for not agreeing to Belleza's hard-sell tactics. This is not how clients should ever be treated.
