My husband and I had a strange and unnerving interaction with this firm. We came to them with a…read moresensitive and fairly high profile criminal matter. My husband and I have a lot to lose in the case, so we chose Arguedas, and Cassman as a firm that could handle things discreetly if possible and fight hard in court if necessary. I went to their office in Berkeley for a consultation. Ms. Arguedas behaved erratically when I met her. Even her own receptionist looked at her like "What is going on with you?" Maybe Arguedas was going through some sort of personal crisis affecting her judgement. I don't know. The problem is that we disclosed sensitive documents to them for the consultation, and we don't know what they've done with them. Arguedas' behavior was so odd that we actually worry they could leak the documents or do who knows what with them. We've tried contacting the other partners in case it was just Ms.Arguedas having a bad day. But nothing so far. It was a much different experience than what we expected given the firm's image. Now, I can easily find documents where before I wasted a lot of time searching for things. In my kitchen, I had way too many spices, some were outdated, and I couldn't easily locate what I needed for a particular dish I was cooking. Helena helped me find appropriate spice bottle, labels and spice organizers so now finding what I need is a breeze and the spices don't take up unnecessary space. I also had boxes and boxes of old family pictures and mementoes which, of course, were just stowed away in the garage. With Helena's help, I now have beautiful rows of organized albums and, in addition, Helena digitalized the family photos so they will last and I won't lose them in the event of a fire or other catastrophe.
