****I WOULD ADD NO STARS IF I COULD!!!**** I just had this company representing me. This office is telling me to do the footwork to figure it out, maybe if you treated my case the correct way from the beginning we wouldn't have an issue!! What a classy place!! I have been going back and forth for almost 3 months (time passed since I settled) and keep getting told that even tho it was short that I was paid in full. This is what happened during my entire lawsuit when anything went wrong, if I didn't want it to be messed up for months at a time I had to get on it myself! I had to make phone calls to Sedgwick (even tho I wasn't supposed to, so I can find out what was going wrong)! This ride has been insane!!! The ones who answer the phones (at the attorneys office) will say they will do something for you, for your case, but THEY LIE to you, I WAIT, and wait and have to call back 96 percent of the time. This is ridiculous when their actual job is to help clients all day?!!! The ones who walk you through the settlement lie to you also... Ana told me I would get a free computer from my employer and her coworker heard the entire thing... Later I found out that I have to pay for it and target gives me partial money back?!? WTH?!? I could have received a few thousand more on my settlement instead but this place does not care about their clients... I had asked to talk to the attorney and it took over 6 months to get that appointment, they kept brushing me off!! I only got the appointment when I threatened to leave the firm. My first attorney allowed my workers comp to get cut off I changed to this office, this office gave me this really good (CRAP) story about how easy it was to get my money reinstated and it would NOT take a long time because...THEY knew exactly what THEY were doing!!!! Said the guy who lured me into "Larry H Parker" and threw me with "PLBH" after I signed on! I asked if they felt they would be able to handle the attorneys for Target and of course I was told YES... however, when it came down to getting my funds reinstated it was another story... it was NOT like the guy who I spoke to (the one who gave me a big bag of empty promises from their company) Please do not fall for what they tell you when you speak to them when you call in... you call they are not attorneys that you speak to... they have ABSOLUTELY NO LEGAL TRAINING AT ALL... they tell you anything you want to hear TO GET YOU SUCKED IN! One of the attorneys before settling actually even told me I don't have to use the medical portion for medical because they would not know... really? Make sure each and every single time you speak to anyone you get a name and write it down and keep it in a notebook with notes of what was said and done!! You will need this!! When you ask for a manager they do not give you a manager they send you to another employee!! One of the girls (Sonya) I even had to say I refuse to speak to because she felt like it was ok to give me an attitude every time she spoke to me... ummm no... I don't think so!! Perona Langer is extremely suspect. I have a small workman's compensation case from 2023. Three years ago! They always make excuses for delay on paying out the settlement. There are no attorneys there! Zero communication to clients. To speak with the attorney CONTRACTED to handle my case I had to make an appointment for a conference call.I was told by Perona Langer that my case was resolved 55 days ago. I told my landlord what was communicated to me Now, I might be thrown out for not honoring payment for back rent. I'm forced to file complaints to CA workman's compensation fraud division along with hiring another law firm to get my money and the ethics violation. read more

It was a fairly decent experience dealing with this law firm PLBH. The Attorney Zachary was very professional and really went beyond to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. This girl that works there her name is Reyna Martinez is very rude has an attitude when you as questions and hangs up on you when she gets frustrated. All they want is money they won't follow up with you unless you call. When asked about emails getting sent out to insurance companies, they say they can't show you none of that information. This office was not helpful at all... for example I didn't get my (which happened a lot) the rep would email the attorney, the attorney would email the other attorney and the attorney would email the claims adjuster and then they will all forget about it until I called back and tell me they haven't heard back and would have to wait for the same trail to return back. Sonya who is one of the employees was always very rude and I tried to talk to them and have the listen to the calls and nothing... I asked for an appointment with the attorney several times, 1 call took over 6 months! To make happen!! One of the attorneys actually gave me a suggestion to commit fraud and just not use the medical portion for medical cuz they won't know... it was the first attorney I spoke to! Then the second one said no it has to be put aside... ummmm yeahhh, I know this!!! Each and every time I asked for something to be done, it took at least a month or more to get it accomplished maybe even triple that, I'm not joking!! Sometimes it never got accomplished. Or I have to call more than once! They would tell me you have to understand workers comp works slowwwww!!!!! The second attorney I spoke had a very condescending attitude with me, he was irritated with me from the start, almost as if he didn't have time to speak to little ol me!! I don't care I made sure I understood everything and asked questions until I did! Target tried to give me 10,000 for being permanently disabled and with injuries to my body that won't heal, even with time!! They expect me to jump for joy when I should not have even accepted what I did! I only got a small portion for all the pain I have been going through and will go through!! I will be living with this the rest of my life and the company target minimizes it so they can save money! This attorneys office was supposed to have my back and DID NOT HAVE IT AT ALL!!!! Your company seems to have gotten desensitized, shame on you! You take this personal and we are the ones suffering when you act like you are the victim and you're doing ALL YOU CAN DO? Really? The workers comp supervisor tells me what did you expect me to drive over there personally?? I'm like, Really?? Have I ever asked you to do that?? Even, hinted at that? They even told me to call the other attorney myself after I got my settlement because the numbers they gave me did not match up and they said their job was done!!!!!!!!!!! He said I should not be calling him, I told him my attorneys office told me to... They also told me call Sedgwick myself directly for issues after the settlement and when I did the adjuster said she was not supposed to talk to me still that the attorneys job was NOT DONE!!! This last time I caught the attorneys office in a lie (this week), Sonya said the paperwork I had been waiting a month for (to see why the settlement check didn't match) was not received and so I called and the adjuster (Sedgwick) said she sent it and I said they said they don't have it and she said I sent it... so I asked her so the attorneys office lied to me? She just said, I sent it!!!! I called back and spoke to the office manager for workers comp just to find out they did in fact have it!!! I also was told several times that they left me messages but there were none on my answering machine!! So idk what happened! For those of you who think that you will hand your case over to attorneys who care, I honestly don't feel that they ever did... My first attorney allowed my workers comp check to get cancelled and when I originally called this company the guy was such a good sales man he could have sold me the keys to a fake house that's how good his game was because I promise you everything he told me was a lie... he told me it was sooooo simple to get my workers comp payments reinstated and it WAS NOT... he said they could handle target attorneys THEY COULD NOT.... well I was off workers comp for about 8 months in total, which wasn't what I was told! Also it took about 6 months to get an appointment to speak to the attorney, it took I est 2-3 months to get my mileage paid (I had to re send 2 times by email and once by mail, then they tried to tell me my last mileage claim would not get paid because it was so close to settling... this is something they should be fighting for me, not kicking me while I'm down!!! I ended up getting an extra $1000 by not folding when they told me to!!! So it pays to be strong and not always listen to your attorney... the one who is supposed to have your back!! I kept telling them I was going to contact the state bar and file a complaint as to how my case was handled and they told me well that's your option!! Ok...
