Kim to proceed my Workers Compensation Claim to a Mandatory Settlement Conference, as it was not in my best interest to settle for chump change, considering I still need medical treatment & surgery, a very unpleased Jennie H. Kim ( who stated to me multiple times, "A PERMANENT DISABILITY DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN'T GO BACK TO WORK" , Lawyer Malpractice ) would go MISSING IN ACTION after I refused to settle for $25000.00, and began questioning her tactics along with filing a Complaint for Unprofessional & Unethical behavior and handling of my case & for also refusing to proceed my case to a MANDATORY SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE with THE CALIFORNIA STATE BAR. A Lawyer by the name of Robert Skrinyaz ESQ. would then pick up the case ( mess ) his " MENTOR" (Words of Robert Skrinyaz ESQ., Jennie H. Kim is his Mentor) left & went Missing In Action. Robert Skrinyaz ESQ., since picking up where his Mentor went MIA has only tried to cover up for all his Mentors Wrongs, which go as far as filing two new dates of injuries, finally, 3 years later and after I told Jennie H. Kim for years. Robert Skrinyaz ESQ., just like his Mentor has ignored my requests to proceed my case to a Mandatory Settlement Conference and keeps trying to bully me to settle out of court, and I say trying because I have never been scared of bully's and can think for myself, which is something this Lawyer's don't seem to like. Due to the huge distrust I have in these lawyers and law firm I keep asking to proceed my case to a mandatory settlement conference, to which my own lawyers continue to deny that right I am entitled too ass if there is something to hide from the court's and mediator's. I have also been attempting to talk to a Supervisor for months now after Robert Skrinyaz ESQ., attempted to file two new injury dates without my consent or knowledge. Now Robert Skrinyaz ESQ., is doing what his Mentor did and ignore my requests to proceed to a Mandatory Settlement Conference. Either this lawyers have something to hide or they are truly incompetent like I belief and are only working Workers Compensation Claims to line there pockets with fast cases & injured workers money. I have worked all my life and was with my last employer for almost 40 years. When I could no longer perform my job duties, I filed for social security disability benefits. I was denied, and later found out you should have an attorney represent you. There are a lot firms that specialize in social security disability claims, and their fees are pretty much the same...if you don't win...you don't pay I called several of these firms and after explaining I had been denied and needed to file an appeal...was immediately turned down without being told why. I assumed it was because there was more work involved with an appeal, but the fee would still be the same as filing a first time claim. I was ready to give up but decided to make one more call. This time I called Perona, Langer, Beck, Serbin, Mendoza & Harrison. I spoke with their representative who was very friendly and politely listened to my problem. I was quite surprised (and happy) when he suggested that we sit down and go over the information that I had. He gave me the option of coming to their office or having someone come to my home. After meeting with them they told me they would gladly handle my case. I was so relieved, they totally took over and handled all the forms and paperwork involved with the appeal. The only thing I needed to worry about was taking care of my health. They kept me informed of what was going on with my case. If at anytime I had any questions, all I had to do was call. When I did call I either spoke with someone right away or they would return my call within the time they said they would. When it came time for my hearing I was a little nervous. My attorney, William Carr, was amazing. He not only made me feel at ease....but I felt like he was fighting for me as much as he would for his own mother, that I was not just another client. Long story short...I was awarded everything that I had asked for and entitled to. I would highly recommend them to anybody. If they did that good on a case that no one else wanted to handle, I imagine they would handle first time claims much better than the other firms who rather pick and choose. I wish I had gone to them in the beginning and wouldn't have suffered the worries and stress of being denied. **Do NOT Use this Law Firm!** Unfortunately, I (my case) has been "...sold up the river..." by the Larry H. Parker Law Firm, as in their association with managing partner, RON BECK, for these fools! This law firm BUNGLED my workers' comp case, from May 2024 until 2 weeks ago (May 2025), of when they've asked to be "released" from representing me, by a Riverside judge. Surprisingly and prejudicially, this judge has let them off? So, I go to court in a few weeks. I think there may be an Issue for a future/appeal. **MEANWHILE**: this incompetent and ABSENTEE attorney, Mr. Patrick Hawkins, was 'no where to be found', beside his SALES PITCH/SNAKE OIL words, from our original/45-second conversation, while he'd be driving to a Long Beach Court? Moreover, he MISSED my deposition (replaced his attendance with some old, retired-looking, unknowledgeable attorney), which had been scrapped due to Zoom. Mr. Hawkins NEVER rescheduled. Furthermore, he never challenged my QME from the poorly-written/state psyc-report, which I'm challenging, as it has over sixty Challenge Areas of Errors! Additionally, Mr. Hawkins MISSED the audio-call with the judge Feb. 3rd (again, replacing his attendance with attorney/Mr. Eric Schwartz - - who was 'nasty' to me, 'unprofessional', 'condescending', and 'heartless'), which further shows Mr. Hawkins's ERROR + NEGLIGENCE! So? I'm looking for, last minute, another law firm. Not likely to get one before the Memorial Day's holiday time? Total chop-shop ripoff!! I called Larry H. Parker and they transferred me to Perona Langer (their workers comp arm, but they never explained this to me). Perona totally botched my case and made all of the wrong moves. When the doctor panel arrived from the state board, they waited a few days, never told me about it, and chose the worst doctor out of the three because they mistook the best choice for a totally different doctor with the same first name who was not even on the panel list. They have serious customer service issues. Before you are signed up, they will send a runner out to your house to sign you up ASAP. This will be the last time the service is quick. After that, you might as well chew your cud and moo while you wait because they will treat you like cattle. Then when they are done, they will lead you to slaughter. The pool of "assistants" know nothing and contradict one another. They will tell you anything to get you off of the phone. Their business model is simple: Focus on bulk, provide no customer service, wait for the insurance company to send over ANY offer then lean on you to accept it. They dropped my case when I would not accept the Insurance company's low-ball offer and I kept their feet to the fire to do more (I even bitched out partner Ellen Serbin when I was having no action on my case). I took the botched case to DiMarco, Araujo, Montevideo and they knew what to do right away. They made a phone call to the insurance company the day I signed with them getting me twice what Perona wanted me to take... After DiMarco cleaned up the mess from Perona, Perona still wanted to get a full commission... HAHAHAHA. I wish I could get paid for screwing things up and doing nothing too. I know it is tough to shop around when you are injured, but just remember NOT to choose Parker or Perona, You will loose in the end for sure!!! read more

Well folks, my guess is that Steven C. - Manhattan Beach, CA & Patrick T. - Walnut, CA ~ quite possibly work for this firm. I know for a fact that many companies PAY people to post positive things about them on these type of sites. Now I realize, I can't prove these posts were paid comments, but I can certainly say they are suspicious. NO ONE is EVER that happy with a lawyer! LOL Regardless of what those two posted, be advised, the class action suit is still in the works and soon enough it will be televised!! The firm may think they have all of us injured workers over a barrel. I mean seriously, the work comp system is horribly complex. Almost everyone needs to get a good lawyer just to have treatment provided to them these days. Unfortunately, it's the sheister lawyers that have corrupted the system and the process, not to mention our former Gov. Arnold who made it impossible for the injured workers to survive financially once the two yrs of temp disabilty payments have been made. Apparently, after two yrs, we don't need money anymore... I guess since Arnold is rich... he didn't care about the rest of us who have relied on that money. Oh well, guess if we're homeless, it's no bother to him. And we already know that the firm doesn't care. They never even reviewed the amount I was being paid. In fact, their entire interview about my case took less than 15 minutes and was done in the initial phone call. After that, I NEVER spoke with any of the attorneys at that firm. What a joke! Find yourself a different firm people. Just my opinion, but anyone associated with Larry H Parker is probably not the best choice now that I let him refer me to the Perona firm. STAY AWAY from this firm. They claim to FIGHT for you, but they DO NOT. I unfortunately hired them for a worker's comp case as time was of the essence. At the beginning they act like they care about your case but after everything starts going. To get a response takes 3-5 days. The paralegal assigned to your case is so overwhelmed with cases that you jump from paralegal to paralegal. They don't understand that you are dealing with very crooked Insurance companies and nasty bosses and coworkers that go against you. There needs to be someone who always answers the E-mails and the phone right away but no. They take forever while HR, your boss, and nasty coworkers are making your life miserable. I also had a lot of evidence in regard to wages and no meal breaks. They could not even help me with that. I hired another firm for that and easily got help. Thankfully before, I had studied some law in school. I kept a very well detail of everything and was able to fight for myself a lot of times, while the case ended. The case managers are jerk's, rude, unprofessional. They don't send you to their doctors so you can have a better outcome. They really do the bare and don't fight. The only 5 star I give is to Janet. She was always very nice to me but again just took forever to respond. In the end I won my case but was left with no permanent solution to my injury because they did NOT fight enough for me. I regret choosing this workers' compensation law firm. From the beginning, the experience was marked by unprofessional and dismissive behavior from caseworkers. They were often rude or short with me, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a client seeking help during a difficult time. Every time I reached out for clarity or reassurance, I was met with impatience or vague, unhelpful answers. There were almost no proactive updates on my case. Weeks and sometimes months would pass without any communication, leaving me completely in the dark about what was happening. I constantly felt confused about the status of my claim, what steps were being taken, or whether any progress was being made at all. Any information I did receive was inconsistent or unclear, which only added to my frustration. The delays were exhausting. Simple questions took far too long to be addressed. Instead of feeling supported, I felt ignored and unheard, as though my situation wasn't important enough to deserve attention or urgency. I expected guidance, advocacy, and professionalism, but what I received was the opposite. Overall, the entire experience left me feeling that my case was a waste of time and energy. Rather than easing the stress of an already challenging situation, this firm added to it.
