I got a referral for my mom's case from Brown Neri Smith & Khan, LLP (BNSK Law Firm, handling Dr Pachida Lo vs Kaiser Permanente) and Outten and Golden Honorable Jenny R Yang (former EEOC Chair under President Obama, and Department of Labor Director under President Biden). Thank y'all so much for even listening and hearing us out! Had gotten heard out by other employment law firms for her case, and they admitted they didn't have the resources or the expertise (Blackstone has TBI review, which is huge value and very valuable for a law firm to have, which means they get value/compensation/payout for plaintiffs and clients)! They legit have a neurologist on retainer i suspect for complicated work injury and personal injury cases too). Huge for us as my mom and I have Moyamoya Disease (RNF213 gene East Asian Variant, neurovascular disease causing strokes, mini-strokes, and TIAs) and Binocular Vision Dysfunction (that heavily affects Koreans/Korean Americans)! I wish the value check came off for this review...dang it. I'll never get yelp elite at this rate... Shoutout to Daniel Perdomo, intake interview specialist! He made my mom feel at ease and guided her over two hours of making sure all details and timeline were properly noted! Amazing intake process! I've had my share of legal and navigating via employment law, personal injury, lemon law, etc. and this time I had to help my mom with her filing and advocating (I don't think you understand how hard that is as a son of immigrants...if you thought helping your parents learn to google or print things, then you have no idea how hard to guide someone to make a timeline and claims and such). These guys are not a thing. They want you to do all of the work for them. They want you to send them all of your sensitive information without having the courtesy of meeting you face to face first. The first guy who called me was talking so fast it felt like I was at a fast food drive-thru. Then another gentleman called me and he said after my severe allegations against my former employer, "Bosses can suck sometimes and the law is not really in your favor." Total complicity to the system. His professional legal advice I HEARD was "Sucks to be you you're just going to have to put up with it." Yeah, that's a real good message. Pretty obvious how things run in their office. If they even have an office AND NOT A PHONY WEB PAGE. For all I know they could be sitting in their pajamas and then show up to court in a wrinkled suit and not say much of anything just to throw the whole fight. They don't do investigating, they don't ask people questions, they don't put in the work to get to the heart of the problem. And they advertise on YouTube. That should have been my first red flag... Along with Facebook Instagram and all the rest. If you hand over all of your information to them you're the sucker. It's an online it's an industry clearing house bordering on a being a scam. It is a free intake. you won't even know the rate before spending that one hour on intake. they ask PII information not relevant to evaluating the case. I refused to provide them and it turned out they could proceed and they were only optional. some of the suspicious yelp reviews here are talking about how intake person listened to them with no mention of actual consultation done or not with 5 stars! so far many red flags. i will update this review if thing change for a more meaningful direction an actual "free consultation". read more

On the scheduled day of our consultation, she didn't have the courtesy or professionalism to 1) call me as scheduled or 2) reschedule or inform me of her inability to uphold the appointment. My intake specialist Adrian was the best and spent almost 2 hours for my intake. He handled everything with a high level of professionalism. I spent over a week compiling all the details and documents requested and sent it to them on a tuesday and by next morning got a call from Adrian that the firm is not taking my case due to me still working for my employer. Even with years of harrassment, retaliation and abuse documented they said they cant take the case. The thing is I told them that I was still employed with them from the beginning and they are trying everything to get me fired and still they didn't think it was a strong case. With california civil rights actively investigating with supeonas and records requests blackstone thought no we dont want it. They could've just told me that they don't take cases if you weren't fired. Adrian you are the best and I thank you for your effort in helping me but blackstone in my opinion didn't step up to help at all taking just less than a day to review over 3 years of documented harrassment, retaliation and discrimination records. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I repeat do not waste your time with this firm. My experience is almost identical to many of other negative reviews for this firm on this platform. They will waste weeks of your precious ticking time ( lawsuits have sensitive timeframe). I spent so much time sending over document after document. Going over details numerous time at length only for them to not even have the decency to give me a reason as to why they would not pursue my case. It is a solid and strong case - they need to be more respect about wasting precious potential clients time. A general more respectful and kinder attitude from the staff wouldn't hurt either. I asked for some additional help/guidance from them in an effort to seek other firms and was coldly ignored even after I followed up. I want to state that my review does not represent the personal attitude of the staff but the mis-communication and lack of communication with this firm. I was in a car accident on Mother's Day 2018 and my case is just NOW being settled. 17 months later. In between this time, my case was handed over to several different people in the firm, on one occasion I called and that person wasn't with the firm anymore. That happened twice except second time they notified me. There were several times I wouldn't hear ANYTHING on my case for months. I was never kept up to date unless I inquired about it 80% of the time.
