He replaced the pipe with a yellow gas pipe, a metal flex, and ran it through the attic instead of on the garage ceiling. He also installed a Bradford White 40-gallon atmospheric vent water heater perfectly. Still, first we ran into some old galvanized pipe that was completely rusted, corroded, and clogged, running from the water heater to the 2 washers we have. The pipes were so bad that the threads broke, so he replaced them with PEX. After that, he put drywall and spackle to patch the holes and also repaired some cracks in the garage ceiling. His prices are great, and his work is impeccable. Do not hesitate to call Julio for any need. He also installed a Moen kitchen faucet about 6 months ago and patched a hole behind the dishwasher. Both were exceptionally well done. He always answers his phone and is ready to work. I highly recommend.

The caulking around the bathroom sink in one bathroom is already cracking and it hasn't been a month. The caulking around the tubs are holding up. The crown molding is fine. The caulking around the shower stall never took because he caulked it when there was moisture, so it came off the next day. He offered to come back and redo it, but I said no as he already messed up my poor kitchen and I didn't trust him anymore. For the kitchen he just put white caulking over the grey grout at the kitchen tile/countertop junction. Not only was it the wrong material, it was the wrong color and it was applied very thickly. I had to pay someone else to remove it and apply the proper material and color. I asked Alex for a partial refund because I have to redo the kitchen and shower stall but he ignored me. He also has no sense of using white over clear caulking. Where clear caulking should have been used, he used white so now the white just stands out. I'm not even sure if he used waterproof caulking in the bathrooms. I don't recommend Alex at all. I suppose one positive was that he responded relatively quickly to my text in the beginning. I also want to include that I did not appreciate Yelp's customer service support. The guy I spoke to was incredibly rude. He just cut me off while I was trying to explain the situation. He said Yelp couldn't do anything about it as they're just a platform.
