I have had the pleasure of closing with Perrie and Associates several times and things have improved a lot! I met David Perrie himself and the guy is wickedly funny - you've got to ask him to share his divorce jokes, they are simply the best I have ever heard! David cares deeply about both his staff who absolutely adore him and his clients. No matter what issue I've ever had, David has taken it very seriously, been extremely responsive and even gone so far as to give me his direct cell phone number so that I could communicate if I had any problems. Totally unrelated, but remarkable to me as a woman is that David allows some of his staff to bring in their children to work which you can only imagine is such a boost for working moms who really don't have much choice. That speaks to the kind of character he has and the value he places on the total per person, not just looking at people as employees. Closings are always pleasant experiences, they explain everything and make sure everything is signed, crossed and dotted. No kidding, they even drove to me in rush-hour traffic to make sure that I got the signatures done by the deadline because I could not make it to them, who does that?!! If nothing I've said convinces you that this is the closing firm for you, then take comfort in knowing that they have the best candy bowls in Metro Atlanta full of only the best chocolate and the bowls are never empty! read more

Being in real Estate business for over 15 years and working with over 100 attorneys including this law firm, we had an opportunity to close with Perrie & Associates again, however, this time we had Sherynda Patrick as our "closing attorney" which was the most unprofessional, rude and time wasting attorney I have ever worked with. She walked into the room with an attitude and without even introducing herself and told me "sir, you really need to start signing the paper work that is in front of you". This was literally what she said. I asked her about het position and she she said she is the closing attorney and has to do this as quickly as she can because she has other clients. I told her I am sorry that you are busy , but it is your fault to schedule multiple people at the same time. I also told her, Just to clarify, I am buying a property and have hired you guys to do my closing, so if you think you do not have time or you are not having a good day, please either reschedule or get me another attorney. Her response was "you know what, I am going to put you in a different room because I have another client that is coming to this room". Long story short, the closing took 4 HOURS AND 15 minutes (yes, that is right) and was the most Misérables and unpleasant time I have ever had at an attorney's office with this rude, unprofessional and full of attitude woman. After over 4 hours and as soon as I got home, I got a call saying "We are sorry but can you come back since we missed your signature on one of the documents". I literally lost it then. Called MR Perrie the next week to mention this horrible experience. Also told about this to all my colleagues, agents and investor friends. Strongly DO NOT recommend this firm anymore for as long as that unprofessional "ATTORNEY" is there. There are plenty other firms out the who know what they do and also do not have an attitude. My closing went smooth. Everyone was prompt and knew what they were doing. It was much quicker and easier than I anticipated.

Do not recommend! No communication during real estate transaction. This office even messed up proper disbursements at closing. Office staff is very rude. I gave precise wire instructions and a staffer decided to use a different routing number they found in their system. Did not call to ask if it was ok. The staff member went on to say routing number i provided was incorrect and that she was not "clairvoyant" - well that's obvious. Closed on a Tuesday and took Perrie and associates over 3 days to get payment info corrected when they were given instructions prior to closing. Poor service. read more

I have closed several deals with them on both buying and selling side with them handing everything from beginning to end. They kept me up to date on the entire process. Closed on a Friday with them. Was told the money would be in my account shorty after 5pm on Friday. Money never showed, Saturday my bank gets their part still have zero clue where my part is. Call on Monday can't speak with anyone except for the person at the front desk. Was told they will now send me over a confirmation number and hopefully I will get it today. Please don't use this company, nobody seems to care no that's it's closed!!!!! They got theirs!! Apparently that's all that matters. read more

Very professional, great sense of humor, and answers all clients questions in detail and makes sure everyone is comfortable with the documents they are signing. If I could put zero stars I would. Closing went fine but I was told I would get a confirmation email on my wire transfer within the hour. The wire was for a substantial amount of money. Susan told me to call her if there was a problem. I did not receive a confirmation or money within the hour. I could not reach Susan by phone. I called her office and was told by an office person that she would check and call me back. She did not call me back. I called again after another30 minutes and the person I spoke with was extremely rude, wouldn't let me finish my sentence, and she told me the problem was not with them it was on my end. Amazing office. If you want a law firm that makes you feel right at home this is the place to be. Lee and David get you in and out while explaining everything thoroughly throughout the closing. I had the misfortune to receive communications from both Dave Perrie and a staff member who claimed to be an attorney to the realtor, when she was not. This may have been a misunderstanding, or it could have been intentional fraud - I'm not sure. But the level of personal attacks, insults, and accusations that flew in emails was, in my opinion, gross insubordination and cause for termination of their services. Mr. Perrie and I have never spoken and he had no idea of my professional background, but felt entitled and comfortable enough to write to me the following: "When and where did you graduate from charm school? Take your insulting unfounded comments and crawl back under the rock from which you came!" Paying clients and their advisors need not be subjected to such insulting tirades, and given he found time and was motivated to write such an email to a stranger working with a client paying his firm, I must warn every person seeking legal support in real estate to run elsewhere. When asked for a cost breakdown, Dave Perrie wrote "We don't keep track of the time on each file. They are extremely time consuming and when I started this department four or five years ago, my goal was to break even.. So far the flat fee we charge for short sales has barely covered the costs..." This from an attorney with an MBA? So it is impossible to determine cost reasonableness or fair market value for their "service". These people are bad news, and a waste of time and money. There are legitimate law firms with staff who do not claim to be attorneys when they are not, and there are owners who would never think of telling a client or client's advisor to crawl under the rock from which you came. I did not hire these people and have no contractual relationship, or I would have fired them and refused to pay their $1450 bill! There was a bogus charge at our closing that I did not notice until after the fact. A refund was requested, but I have received no response.
