update. The doctor is a very good doctor. He knows what he's talking about and he cares for children. However, the nursing staff and the receptionist are not the best. ( some) They almost seem like they have an attitude with you asking questions. It takes them a very long time to get back to you. Lab work is a pain because you have to actually physically call them to get the results instead of the other way around. (which nobody informed me off so when I went in and asked about it, I got attitude ) You're almost ignored when you walk in the waiting room. My first visit was great because I loved the doctor... However, I have been back three times and I'm not a fan of the front office staff. I called to ask a couple questions and was given attitude and was asked why I did not ask the doctor. (I most definitely would've asked if the doctors these questions if I would've known it was gonna take my daughter so long to get a referral to an orthopedic doctor... Didn't think that would take a week ) Absolutely no way to speak to your patients ladies. Hope y'all read your reviews and change your attitude. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The receptionist Yvette is the rudest person I have ever spoken to in my life! She is a straight up liar and gaslighter! I had an appointment on the 14th of sept and she said she called me to tell me I needed to reschedule, I have no missed calls or voicemails and then today I called at 1130am to make sure they were going to call me for my appointment and she said she called me and I didn't answet. Yet again no missed calls or vms. I asked her why she didn't leave a voicemail if she called me and she said 'I don't do that' and I asked for a manager and she hung up on me!!! I reported her and the office to IEHP! this office needs to be closed down now! They only have one doctor and seems like they call out sick once a week! So unprofessional! No one has ever turned me in to a Karen in my life until now! She should be fired!! read more

Worst clinic ever! You can't make an appointment, they attend people who got there after you before you and to top it all off the wait is about 4 hours just to get checked by a physician. Worst service ever the lady who signs you in has the worst attitude ever, everyone in this clinic has an attitude problem. The girl drawing your blood does not know how to do her job properly she punctured me about 7 times with the needle until she finally got it right and bruised my whole arm blood was squirting, it stayed bruised for about a month. She only got it right because she proceeded to puncture my vein where another lady from a different hospital drew my blood and did it perfectly the first time. She used my bruise where it had a little dot to copy where to draw out blood normally. I wish I could give this clinic 0 stars. read more

The only reason I gave a 1 star is because I HAD TO!!! The nurses are RUDE as hell here all of them. They roll their eyes at patients, they call you on the phone and say one thing then when you get here they say something different, then all of a sudden they get amnesia and act STUPID with you like your the dumb one. Also, they are supposed to open at 9:00AM not PM and they open the door LATE every day!!! The DR says he will be in at one time and doesn't get her until waaaayyyy after. Staff is horrible, they dont listen tinyou. They ask the same questions every time someone comes in. Very frustrating, then I needed a RX called in. Mind you I had been in the office for 3 hours and was the last patient out. In think the dr left before I did. I go to the pharmacy and no RX, not surprised, and now the office is closed. I call the next day to tell them that they didn't call it in. Yesenia, said she did yesterday and if I want I can pick up the confirmation. I didn't need a confirmation I needed the RX. Mind you it was for stuff to help me breathe. When I went in my oxygen was low, so now I'm on the phone with rude yesenia who only wants to give me the confirmation. A pharmacy will but fill a RX with a confirmation dumb ass. So after 3 phone calls with 3 she transgers me to the supervisor who supposedly was not in til4 magically appeared and didn't understand one lick of English. Just kept saying yes and pick up paper while he talks to someone else in the background in Spanish. Finally a lady gets on the phone who gets the brunt if my irritation. She has to tslj to my husband by then cause at this point I'm hyperventilating and finally at 12 noon she calls the pharmacy and speaks to someone instead of something on the computer. Basically yesenia and Jose need to be fired, they are very unprofessional and do not need to be working in the medical field. I am a Hispanic american who doesn't speak Spanish, I understand I went to a predominantly Spanish soeaking office, but that's no way to treat someone. I wish ibwiuld have seen this yelp page prior but on web MD dr poni had a 5bstar rating but was not listed under clinica medica, that would have stopped me in my tracks from assigning myself there, lesson learned, next step call insurance back and go somewhere else. read more

Haven't been here. I was a little scared from the receptionist tone of voice. Very demanding and very rude, she hardly spoke English.

This place only accepts walk ins my doctor I love going to is Melendez or Vanessa. I like to go sign in and go home and then go back because I know the wait is long. Melendez and Vanessa have helped me out a lot every time I'm sick. Thank you read more

If I could give no stars I would this place is the worst place ever I been sitting here for over 2 hours they take people that come in after you then when I was seen just for my blood pressure they tried to make me pay more then what my copayment is when I told the nurse I was not paying it she laughed at me and stared talking in Spanish knowing I don't speak Spanish then tells me the dr will see me in a hour or so because they are busy I really think you should change you dr if this is the place is where you have to go read more

Most of the staff is not very friendly and you have to wait almost 2 hours to be seen and that's with an appointment.

Every time I go in to see Dr. Vanessa Michelena she takes her time with me and she listens to my health problems calmly. I love that she takes the initiative to make her patients feel great right away. She is truly one of a kind! read more
