( some) They almost seem like they have an attitude with you asking questions. It takes them a very long time to get back to you. Lab work is a pain because you have to actually physically call them to get the results instead of the other way around. (which nobody informed me off so when I went in and asked about it, I got attitude ) You're almost ignored when you walk in the waiting room. My first visit was great because I loved the doctor... However, I have been back three times and I'm not a fan of the front office staff. I called to ask a couple questions and was given attitude and was asked why I did not ask the doctor. (I most definitely would've asked if the doctors these questions if I would've known it was gonna take my daughter so long to get a referral to an orthopedic doctor... I have been going to Neighborhood Healthcare for a few years now and I am sad to say I will no longer be seeking care. I started off seeing Dr. Carrie Gerdik who was FANTASTIC. She really listened to me. I saw 2 other doctors after she left, one of them was okay but then he also left the practice. This time I saw Dr. Knight- who seemed to listen and want to get me help. She gave me the referrals, but the staff member who delivered my lab results was awful. I was basically told "yeah you have really high inflammatory markers but it's probably because you are overweight so no big deal." um. what? I have been overweight a few years now and have lost weight. So how is it that they have been steadily rising? I was also told that I have polyps in my cervix and needed to do nothing - despite having symptoms that are causing me problems. Oh-and bone spurs? Yeah we confirmed you have them. But no need to do anything but stretch??? I had to ask for referrals after being told all of my issues don't need care (which I got to be fair, but what the actual heck?) Oh! The best part- I was called and told I couldn't get one of the referrals because I have not been seen. I had to tell the girl to look at the records again. She argued with me for several minutes before actually seeing that I had been seen in the last 3 months and had been getting referrals. No thanks. I'll find a doctor with staff that doesn't tell me "don't do anything about your health issues" or attributes my problems to being overweight. Maybe someone who actually keeps track of their records before calling and arguing with a patient about their needs.
