They don't call you back when they state they will and they don't answer the phone when you have to reach out to them. Unlike the other two reviews : We had the most wonderful experience with this title company/ law office. We received information in a timely manner and were able to close when promised by the firm. Our seller wanted to wait an extra day but our attorney, knowing we were already in the waiting room to sign, pushed for the close! I rarely take time or have the time to write a review. However, I have had 2 bad experiences with this title company, so I feel I need to give warning to those that rely on reviews new to the area. Background on myself is in order if I am going to be credible I guess. I have been a real estate Broker & developer for over 20 years. My family helped settle Nashville. My grandmother was a Donelson (John Donelson descendant),and grew up on the family estate at Cleveland Hall. My grandfather grew up on the adjacent Hadley estate known as Vaucluse. The Government took Vaucluse during WW1 in order to set up the Dupont gun powder factory, so they moved to Clarksville where the Hadley's continue a legacy of integrity. My first experience with this title company came when I sold a set of multi-family apartment buildings to a Nashville Buyer that wanted to use this firm to close his side of the transaction. The closing was rocky and there were a number of issues and mistakes on the part of this company that were caught by mine. The same Buyer later contracted to purchase a second set of multi-family, so in the counter I made sure to put "closing to be at Bankers Title." This was completely disregarded by Perrone & Young even though the contract plainly stated where the closing was to be. Obviously there was a big title insurance premium involved they wanted. I had some of the same issues as the first time. It did not fund on the closing date; they made a $12,000 mistake on the commission split that had to be corrected etc. In short, beware of this place there are much better options.
