Which I find laughable because Catherine (owners wife) told me to take what happened with a "grain of salt" because she was not there and dismissed my feelings and sided with her employee. After mentioning that I will not be returning and I left my opinion of the salon online, I was shortly contacted by the owner Chris (Catherine's husband) to be told that she was crying and very upset about the review. Chris made multiple attempts for me to be satisfied and to take my reviews down. He has contacted me every day since about my reviews. I went to the salon the very next morning to have my hair done by Sarah and I received a free hair mask. I do wish that I was able to get my hair cut & styled but Sarah was running too far behind. I absolutely appreciate Sarah's help. She made my experience enjoyable, Chris did too. I wish in the beginning that they didn't make so many excuses for how I was treated by Ty but there is nothing I can do about that. I'm not sure what I did to her but I will absolutely recommend having your hair done by Sarah instead.

I was thrilled when I moved back to Fayetteville and Ramsey could do my hair again. She is ah-maze-balls! She's never given me a bad cut or color - and she's always reasonably priced. The woman was very friendly right up until I tipped her, and then she ignored me like I had the plague when I talked about getting my hair done too. Worse, she only painted the center of my nail, and the sides of it were completely untouched. My nails were uneven and ragged, so they actually looked worse than they did before I went in. But the real horror story was what they did to my hair. I ended up getting my hair done from a youngish blonde lady, whose name I no longer recall. As a plus; she was really friendly. As a minus; she was an awful hairdresser. Here's my disclaimer: I was trying to get my hair blonde after having dyed it black. This is an incredibly difficult task, and you cannot get it done in only one process. I was aware of this, and I had accepted that all we could do was get it lighter. She told me she would bleach my entire head, which would result in a weird color, so we would dye a brown color over it so that it was a uniform color and lighter than what I had. I could do that. What I was not prepared for was that after having my hair worked on for over three hours, I would end up with hair that was a patchwork of different colors. I wish I were exaggerating. My poor head had horizontal stripes of color and splashes of discoloration. Moreover, it wasn't the pleasant shade of light brown the hairdresser had pointed out, it was a hideous mixture of bronze, orange, and yellow, like the lighter spectrum of the Crayola family had vomited in my hair. This abomination didn't stop my hairdresser from telling me what a good shade it was, and how it came out even better than she was hoping. Now, the lighting in this place is pretty deceptive, so when I looked at my hair there, I was unhappy with it, but I was willing to accept that maybe it was the best she could do. So I paid up (over $100) and headed home. When I looked at my hair there, in both natural and fluorescent light, I was HORRIFIED. I'm not proud to admit it, but I cried at how hideous it was. So I called the woman and told her there was a problem. We argued for a long time, but after I was pretty assertive about her needing to make this right, she finally agreed to come in the next day (even though she had it off) and fix my hair. Kudos to her. On round two, she just dyed my hair a darker shade of brown, which still failed to really cover the bronze/orange madness, but at least made it more tolerable. Hilariously, she tooted her own horn about how she wasn't going to charge me to fix my hair, even though another woman who worked there had told her she should. (Excuse me? You want me to pay for you to fix the hair that YOU messed up?) So ultimately I escaped with hair that didn't make me want to cry every time I looked into a mirror, although not by much. I was later told by a better stylist that we never should've bleached my entire head, because there was no way it was going to lift color evenly. This new stylist gave me extensive highlights and foils, which gradually lightened my hair without making it look too bronzy or unnatural. (If you look at my profile pic now you can see the results we got after about 3 sessions.) So yeah, moral of the story: don't go here. EVER.

I arrived about 15 minutes early and was told the tailor was just getting to it and that it would be about 45 minutes. I waited in my truck, came back around 3:00, and the jacket still was not finished because the buttons still had to be put back on. What bothered me most was not simply the delay. It was the fact that the work apparently was not started until my scheduled pickup time, despite the shop having the jacket for ten days. To make matters worse, the vent lining had previously been opened while we discussed a possible alteration to the back of the jacket, and when the jacket was handed back to me, that lining had not been sewn closed. I had to catch that myself. The final cost was $85.60. I understand that shops can run behind, but a scheduled pickup time should mean the garment is completed and ready to be inspected and taken home. Starting the work at the pickup time, then returning the jacket with part of the lining unfinished, is not the level of service I expected at this price. Unfortunately, this experience left me with very little confidence in bringing another garment here. After getting home and inspecting the jacket more closely, I also found the stitching used to close the lining was unusually loose and uneven compared with the construction on my other sport coats. I no longer have confidence in the quality of the alteration and will be taking it elsewhere for evaluation/repair.

They fixed the prong, cleaned and inspected both rings and he was out of there with the rings in his pocket in under 30 minutes! Call me suspicious but I'm just not comfortable taking my rings to a big-box retailer and having them shipped who-knows where to get a simple repair. Three weeks for a bent prong? No thanks! I'll just stick with someone local who can get it done here. I also have some really old jewelry that need very specific repairs and I'm not anxious to trust them getting shipped off and lost.
