I asked for a design and if it was feasible for the guy doing my nails. He shook his head no, and I said: "No worries, I understand folks have different skills, I'll pick a simpler design." He then said that the design was easy but it's was "ugly" and I shouldn't get that. This is where I should've left, but I brushed off the comment and asked for a flower design (see pic with daisy-like flowers). He said he could do that and suggested doing an ombre, showing me an example that was heavy white with minimal pink. I said yes and we limited the flower design to one nail. The flowers came out with fat petals, looking nothing like the picture. The ombré was pink heavy and I had to ask him to change the pink since the first was BRIGHT pink and not natural looking. To top it off he filed my skin off (see pics of the cuts) on multiple fingers despite my hand jerking away. I may come back for a pedicure, but never for a manicure again. My hands still hurt after several hours.

I also repeatedly said that I wanted regular polish, but I was continuously pushed to get gel polish on my toenails even after I had made my choice clear. Overall, I left feeling rushed and like the focus was on getting me through the service rather than providing a relaxing, thorough pedicure. I just expected better service for what I paid. Update: not even 24 hours and finger nails have chipped. I asked for gel on my finger nails and looks like they used regular finger nail polish.

I have had massages not only in the U.S. and in different states but also different countries. This particular massage, a 90 minute one scheduled by my daughter with knowledge of this particular masseuse, Lauren Sims, was primarily to help with cervical neck pain that was persistent for over 2 months. I do reflexology every 5 weeks and started a chiropractic program as well. I have been using every possible form of Biofreeze, I ice, I heat, and use a multitude of pillows to help. So that was to tell you history just so you didn't think that I just went for a nice rub down. This was one of the absolute BEST massages I have ever had. She found little knots, stubborn nerves, irritated muscles everywhere. It was a full body massage and she did fabulous everything to every where. She paid extra special attention to my neck. I left in such an amazing, soothed spirit. I'm not saying it fixed everything but I wish I lived closer so as to repeat with her frequently. Wow wowwww wowwwwww!!
