My wife and I recently decided to buy a home in Florida 1500 miles away from all the home inspectors I know in the Northeast. We settled on John largely due to his yelp reviews and a referral from another local home inspector. We were not disappointed in John's ability to ferret out the issues with our hopefully new home. There was much unseen that was uncovered by John and much seen that was explained in detailed and reasoning. John spent all the time I needed to get a thorough understanding of operating systems and deficient items. His report was detailed in an easy-to-read format complete with multiple pictures for the deficient items, and the format of the report can be used as a honey do type of list. If you're in need of a home inspector and John is willing to travel to your intended purchase I think now is a good time to stop searching yelp and give him a ring.
