Perry is fantastic! As one reviewer mentioned, this is an old school experience of a man dedicated to his customers. First off, I messed up. We scheduled an appointment at 11:00 but I had it as noon. Perry waited for me patiently and didn't give me any vibe of upset for having wasted his time. Thank you Perry. As for the cleaning, my Jeep hasn't been this spotless since I got it 2 years ago. Took my car in last week. Full detail interior and exterior, wax, buff and wash. The vehicle looked great for the most part. Perry is very friendly and easy to talk to. Some things I noticed are : He missed a huge portion of my windshield, was still very dirty and streaky. He also uses armor all, which isn't the best option for detailing vehicles because it actually ruins the surface of interior surfaces over time, he uses WAYY too much product on the interior. I noticed puddles of product on my door handle and everything was super slippery and slimy. For $230 it wasn't a bad detail, it's one of those shops I would bring my car back to but only maybe once a year. Next time I'll tell him to go light on the product and to focus on the windows more then he does. Overall I'm happy, but he should have noticed these issues with how many years he's been doing this. I give 3 stars because there's definitely room for improvement. read more

Perrys Auto Detailing is reminiscent of an old school craftsman. This man REALLY takes pride in his work. He told me about his years of experience in the car wash business and I could tell from the questions he asked, from the information he provided, that he had spent decades dealing with the interior and exterior of cars. I dropped my car off yesterday and in a couple of hours, all trace of the past months' trips to the vet, runs to the garden center to get mulch.. every bit of dust, pet hair, mulch, crumbs, you name it, were gone. You need to make an appointment because this is not the typical car drive through carwash/detailer experience. But wouldn't it be great if all business owners still operated this way, had a passion for the work they did and took pride in their work? This business was a rare find. I agree with another person's comments, a trip to Perrys to revitalize your car would be a great gift to give someone. I love that idea. read more

I have family in the area and somehow got to talking about getting my car really clean inside! My father told me that this guy name Perry does a phenomenal job! I called in and not only was he friendly but he was able to get me right away in since somebody else called and cancelled! I show him a few stain spots that I couldn't get out and he was honest and told he would do the best he could. When went to pick up the car, I was surprised not only how clean it was inside but the stain's were gone. You are not dealing with anyone else on the phone or in person. Extremely personable guy, who clearly has a great work ethic. My car was done promptly and received a call immediately. Perry was very accommodating, allowing me to keep my car sit overnight at his place. I drive a 2009, and the car hadn't had a thorough cleaning until now. When I got in my car I was very pleased. Very very satisfied with the full interior detail Perry and his team did for me. He was very pleasant and polite and told me they will do their best to leave my car like new and they certainly did! I was blown away as my interior appeared like it just left the dealer. They had their work cut out for them as I had several spots and smudged baking soda everywhere after a buddy vomited all over the rear seat and center console. Like it never happened! I've had my car detailed in the past, and this guy is the best. I hung out at a restaurant across the road, and he called when my car was ready. Definitely not worth the $150 I was charged. These guys do an OK job cleaning your car, but you get the same exact level of cleanliness from a car wash at 1/3 the price. I made a "special appointment" the day prior and dropped my car off for 2.5 hours. When it was finished, I paid Perry $150 cash, got the keys and was on my way out when I noticed that the car was still VERY dirty: dirt on the windows, debris in the car, some areas had not even been addressed at all (dirt remaining in the change holder, really?!) I ask Perry for an explanation and he apologized and asked for another 20 minutes to address it. They wiped down my car a bit more and addressed the points I showed him. It was better the second time, but definitely not worth the price. Save yourself $100 and the embarrassment of being duped and go to Foam and Wash down the street, maybe they'll even give you an air freshener. read more

I wanted to get my 1996 Toyota Avalon detailed before the end of the season. After doing some research around the area, I decided that Perry's Auto Detailing was the right shop for the job. The price for the complete detail was extremely reasonable. This includes an exterior compound and simoniz wax, interior shampoo and interior armor all treatment. Perry, the owner, explained every part of the process and even offered to drive me to the Poughkeepsie Galleria while the car was being serviced. You will not find this level of customer compassion anywhere else! After about 3 hours Perry called to confirm that the car was finished and even came back to the mall to pick me up. I was completely impressed with the phenomenal customer service and how amazing the car looked. Easily took 18 years off the car! GREAT WORK! Had a pearl white car, cream color interior done. I guess they figure it white no need to buff or do any detailing. because once i used the plastic bag over hand test you still feel a bunch of imperfection. Then let move onto interior, they never took out carpet mats, basically did a bad job around them, didn't even shampoo mats at all, Seats is the only thing i will give them. all else is a failure. My suggestion is to stay with car while it being detailed. read more
