I had Carrie do a Olaplex perm on my hair and I am LOVING IT! Very fun and easy perm! My hair normally is really straight

Love this place! By far the best Salon around. Everyone there is so out going and nice. All the stylist there are great at what they do! The Salon itself is very updates and very adorable and new! Very clean and refreshing. And as soon as you walk in it is relaxing!

    Fabulous Hair Day!

I Love going to Persona Salon. So much talent! Huge Salon with a professional atmosphere. Carrie keeps a magic wand in her back pocket and listens to my wishes!

It seems to me that this persons problem isn't with the salon or Tracy but with her own personality.

Do not go here for eyelash extensions…read more There are not a lot of salons in Vermont that do eyelash extensions so when I found All About Hair and saw the starting rate was $95 for a full set, I was excited and made an appointment. However once I got there, and before even sitting down, the stylist told me it would be $200 for a full set. Id understand if she looked at my eyelashes first and then decided to charge $200 but she barely even looked at me before telling me that would be price. I told her that the website has them listed at $95 to start and she just said I wouldn't be able to find anything cheaper than $200 in Chittenden County because of how much time it takes to do them (which is a lie because there are other salons that charge less than that in Chittenden County). She told me maybe I read it wrong because for a fill, it's $95 (which is also a lie, their website has fills listed at $35 to start). Eventually she told me the lowest she could do was $150 and, stupid me, decided to just get them. First of all, there were no style or length options, which is pretty unusual for eyelash extensions. Second, it took her less than 30 minutes to do them (so not sure why she went on about them being that expensive because of how "long it takes to do them"). That's the SHORTEST amount of time it's ever taken me to get a full set. It should take at least an hour, at the MINIMUM. Third, the extensions themselves, were so cheap. In the past when I've had extensions, you're able to (and you're supposed to) brush them with a spoolie tool, however these were so clumpy, that there was no way you could brush them. They felt so low quality and they lasted MAYBE 2 weeks (not that I really wanted to have them any longer). Don't make the mistake I did and go here. I'm not sure how their hair styling is, but their eyelash extensions are terrible.

OMG, I hit the jackpot of the highest scores on finding Philip Clark the nail guru at Scherdiva…read moresalon!! I've tried many salons throughout the Vermont and New Hampshire area and I always felt like just a number. The last salon pedicure visit to a high reviewed salon in NH took 3 HOURS and left me with tears in my eyes and horrible pain in my toes from having them filed to the point of blood, even with me telling her to stop I've had enough she continued to say "no no 5 more minutes, you're not done yet!" Phil is meticulous with your mani/pedi, offers paraffin and has a wide array of powders, gels and colors to choose from. Phil treats each of his clients with the utmost respect. I already booked my next mani/pedi with Phil

This salon is AMAZING! Like, international level of fabulous---!…read more I've had my hair done all over the world and I gotta say, Robert is right up there with the best of them! What a nice surprise to find such a gem in Essex. He is completely professional is up on the latest trends and is very communicative about what you want and what will work best for your hair. I first found this salon a few months back when I had my cut and color done and man, did he do an excellent job. I returned for my pre-wedding hair cut, color and fashion strands and I seriously looked like a model. He's a hair whisperer --and so funny and nice! Thank you Robert for making me feel so beautiful :-)

Heads up- they have two locations but they use the same phone number. Called from the Yelp link for…read moreking street, so we went to that location but they had booked us at the other location. Luckily, we had rented a car but this could be troublesome if you are using an Uber or Lyft. Staff was friendly. We booked a couples massage and they were able to fit us in same day. One thing I didn't like was they charged us the full amount before the massages, but AFTER said there was a $10 up charge for deep pressure. That should have been communicated since we had already paid before the service. Also, they asked for tips to be paid directly to a personal Venmo account rather than through the business. The massage itself was fine- nothing special or unusual. They do not offer bottled water or wine, as most places do with a couples massage. All in all, it was a good last minute booking. Kiki uses her feet to massage- so if you aren't okay with that be sure to communicate that.

Not only is $80 before tip for a Brazilian wax outrageous (even for the northeast), but I'd hope…read morethat since the price is this steep they'd AT LEAST get all of the hairs. I was on a trip to Burlington and was in need of a last-minute Brazilian, so I settled on this place because it was the only place I could find an appointment. My waxer, Jenna, was kind, but I left disappointed and quite frankly, felt extremely ripped off after I realized she had not done a thorough job. The hairs that were left behind weren't even too short for the wax to grab ahold of--it was just a lack of attention to detail. I'm pretty upset that I paid over $80 for an incomplete job. ****To elaborate on my one review, I thought I was happy with the wax prior to leaving the establishment. It wasn't until closer inspection once I was in the privacy of my own hotel room, that I realized there were numerous hairs left behind. I also was not asked if I was happy with the wax job at the end. If I had been asked, and if I had noticed the remaining hairs before I left, I would have absolutely said something.

I'll be honest, I'm a total spa snob. The Spa At Stowe Mountain Lodge might be the best I have ever…read moreexperienced. Just walking through the door into the storefront where you check in for your treatment is cathartic on its own with soothing smells, good lighting, and kind smiles from welcoming staff. The [very clean] locker rooms are equipped with everything you'd expect from a quality spa (soft robes, great showers, top-notch toiletries, hairdryers, etc). The relaxation room is warm (in every sense of the word) and calming. There are lounge chairs covered in pillows right by a fireplace with a gorgeous view of Stowe Mountain. There are snacks, handbagged tea, and icy cold coconut water. It's a perfect place to start your unwinding journey. The water lounge is like it was taken out of a magazine, and if I hadn't already been signed up for a salt scrub, I would have spent much of my time in there. The steam room is dimly lit with the sounds of a rainstorm, the steam infused with eucalyptus. The sauna smells like a cherry wood forest and the natural warmth from the himalayan salts inside is grounding. My actual treatment was otherworldly, which is what my therapist told me it would be; she kept her word. I'm running out of words to describe it, but I will say that I felt like I had shed my skin like a snake and that both my skin and spirit were completely renewed. I cannot recommend this spa more. If you're in the area, don't miss it.
